Tourism in Tartu

· There are many interesting museums for culture-people too. Art galleries, national museums, handcrafting galleries, famous persons home-museums and many else. Usually museums don't have expensive tickets, so it's pocket-friendly too. · There are a lot of good restaurants, pubs, cafés and fast-food places in Tartu. Luxurious and expensive to fast and cheap, for all tastes. Pizzas are outstanding in Tartu! · The weather is interesting in Tartu, we have cold snowy winters and warm sunny summers here. Negative Sides of Tartu: There are thieves like in every other place. But it's negative anyway.

Complaint letter

the vouchers you have referred in your information leaflet. Whereas all my classes in London start at 10 o'clock sharp and I do not want to be late because I have paid for these I always check the schedule for the most convenient choice of train. Nevertheless last week all my journeys to my course delayed. On the worst day the train was 1 hour and 20 minutes late. Therefore I missed two classes in addition to numerous delays and loss of nerves. Although I understand that the weather conditions last week were extremely complicated the deferments should have been prevented, because that is quite predictable especially in October. As you have proposed in your information leaflet, which I picked up from the station, I require the vouchers to the value of fifty per cent of my journey. Additionally I would be grateful, if you compensated both of the missed classes for me. Yours sincerely,

Trip to Hungary

I'm sorry I didin't write to you sooner, but we've been really busy. Hungary is the place where I went recently. I went to Hungary in last summer. I came in Hungary with my family. We were there 8days. I packed my suitcase and made a list of things to take. Also I looked for information about the place. These were my preparations for the trip. I remember about the trip that we travelled by ship in the Danube and we swam in thermal bath. I was sunbathing too, but very few because the weather was quite cloudy. I did a lot of pictures. I want to show them to you, when you come visit me. The souvenirs I bought were two or three necklaces and bracelet. For my granny I bought a wine from wine plantation and a marzipan figure from the marzipan museum. I don't remember all the sights I saw in Hungary anymore, but the interesting places were Hungary are old bastions, castle and also thermal baths in Budabest.

The perfect place to live

The Perfect Place to Live For me, I think I am already living in a perfect place, Estonia. I would not want to live somewhere else because I think Estonia has everything what a perfect place should have. Many people who live in Estonia are dreaming of a home in a warmer place. There are many reasons why I would not want to live there. One reason is that the weather stays excactly the same every day but in Estonia we have different seasons. Furthermore why I like living in Estonia is that the nature is amazing and if I am very tired I could just go 10 kilometers out of the city and I would be in pure nature, but in China it would be impossible. I am happy about my life in Estonia. I cannot imagine a better place to live. I am never going to move a different country to live because I love Estonia and this is the perfect place I would want to live.

Endangered Animals

Every year, more and more animals are facing extinction. In order to protect endangered species, what can we about this problem? One way of solving the problem is to protect wildlife habitats as the best way to protect endangered species is to protect the places they live in. In addition to this, wildlife must have a place to find food and shelter from the weather. Logging, oil and gas drilling, over-grazing and real estate development have all resulted in the destruction of these habitats, which must be minimized as much as possible. Another way to solve the problem is to stop buying products that are made from animal skin. The lack of demand would result in hunters being unable to continue their business. Finally, it is important to pay attention when driving. One of the problems in

Dream trip My wish would be to go on a trip to the Caribbean Islands with my friends. I would like to go away for a while from Estonia where its cold and windy and enjoy the sun, warm weather, the beautiful sea and the cloudless sky on the beach. The trip to the Carribbean should certainly be with a plane but we would need a car and someone who could drive us. The suncream would protect us from the unsafe sun and we would lie in the shade on palm trees. We wouldn't be interested of sightseeing on this trip because it's a place where you can have much fun and relax. And of course i wouldn't say no to a ride on a luxurious yacht..

Estonian climate in winter-time.

front of your door and some year it may not snow for at least half of the winter-time. But no worries, mostly the temperature may go below -30 and because of the cold, students are absent from schools. The absent students mess up the whole classes program, because then it takes more time to study some subjects and teachers have a lot more work to do. I think, that when students skip school because of the bad weather, teachers should put homework and the work that should have been done in classes, on ekool, but not as concise as it would be if stundents have been at school. Then, students can study subjects on their own and if they can't understand something, they may send an e-mail to teachers or ask help from fellow students.

How global warming will change the way we live in future?

we live in future. In fact durning the twentieth century global temperature went up by over 0,7 Celsius degree. It looks pretty small number but even slight Climate change leads to serious consequences. Firstly, global warming will cause that glaciers start to melt. And as a result, the water level will raise and cities and villages which are located near oceans and sees will be flooded. Secondly, if we don't stop global warming, we will bserve more examples of extreme weather such as heat waves, storm clouds, which may lead to floods, droughts and forest fires. Next conseqences of global warming is that oceans temperature will go up. It is likely that it will cause an increase in activity of hurricanes, what will cause many unimaginable destructions. Also, ice will start to melting in Alaska, so it will lead to extremination of many species. And to sum up, global warming will definitely change the way we live in future

It's also bigger so it's nice to watch movies with as well. I use my computer a lot less than my phone maybe 2 or three hours a day, whereas I use my phone at all times. - , , , . . ,

What are the Estonians like?

to say their opinion out loud. Estonians have quite good manners. We say hi to each other and we often say sorry, even if our acts aren't so bad. There are also many gentlemen in Estonia, who open doors for women and make a lot of compliments. I really like that, because one opened door or one little compliment can make your mood for the entire day. Our country has four seasons and every season changes our mood. In summer and winter Estonians are very happy, but in autumn, when the weather is rainy, foggy and afternoons are very dark, Estonians are quite depressed and very tired for the entire season . In the spring Estonians are full of energy and joy. Estonians keep their respect for one another and love their country , because of that, i am very proud to be an Estonian. Jessica Lauring 9b

I think that camels are really cool and kind of sweet animals. If I could go to Egypt I certainly would like to ride with them.

Meeting the wolf

Janely Plamus Meeting the wolf Many years ago on Sunday a young girl walked on a lonely road. The sun was shining and light clouds were in the sky. She was on her way home. Suddenly the sun disappeared and dark clouds appeared in the sky. She felt a little scared but didn't pay much attention on it. Before she could find any place to hide, it started raining. The weather was getting worse and worse until there were an awful thunderstorm. The girl had nowhere to go, she was frightened and started crying. She heard something moving in the bushes which scared her even more. She tried to be quiet and see what was in the bushes but she didn't see anything. As soon as she took a deep breath, the wolf jumped out of the bushes. He sniffed around and then started to move towards the girl. She started screaming and the wolf started howling.

How to avoid colds?

There are probably more than a million people who are suffering a terrible head cold, a cough and a sore throat right now. These illnesses are not mostly dangerous for people, but if not treated, they may become life-threatening. For example, a simple cold may become a serious disease called otitis, and a simple cough pneumonia. There are a lot precautions to avoid colds, but not everyone pays attention to. The most common way to avoid them, is to dress according to the weather. When it is windy outside, people should wear something windproof, mostly in early spring and late autumn. In winter the dressing should be warm and layerd. Eating healthy food, doing sports and sleeping normally are also very important actions to stay healthy. Healthy food, for example, is different fruits, vegetables and non-fat soups and fries. Also it's very important to drink herbal teas and eat different berries, like bilberries and cranberries. Sport

Report: Nõmme adventure park

For foreign groups there is a small hotel with 25 rooms. It is not expencive, only 34 per night. This price includes excelent service, free traditional Estonian breakfast and extra prices for the groups in the buffee. Conclusion To summ it all up, we would say that Nõmme adventure park is the best place for field trips. What is more, park has many advantages, as free parking places, adequate prices and pretty good location. It is advisable to visit this place in summer, because of the weather conditions. Is global climate change man-made or not?

Essay. Is global climate change (global warming) man-made or not? Over the last hundred years the Earth has been warming. This warming is believed to lead to many issues such as increasing of nature disasters, weather changes and draught. All of these consequences could become a reason of economic decay in many countries, especially in some undeveloped countries. Therefore it is very important to find out who is guilty of the climate changing. Many people are confident that the reason of global warming is man made carbon dioxide. Over the last hundred years our society has been developing very fast: there has been built a huge amount of different factories, has been made so

countries, I'd like to point out some good places where all young people could meet and greet. The usual locations are of course concerts, sport and any other clubs but in case you have some kind of a hobby, you should dig out where you could meet people with the same interests. Our school has always had many interesting events through the year and here are some of the near future ones: A lot alikes banding together doesn't matter weather you're an athlete, a cheerleader, a musician or a writer, you are not the only one, so school is supporting different activity clubs. New cafeteria's opening we do need places to eat and drink! Autumn ball as soon as everybody has mingled together they can start dancing! The few things I really suggest are when in class, look around, remember the faces and in every chance introduce yourself. Also it leaves a good impression being nice and cheerful all the time.

Tourism

Tourism is one of the most developing kind of services in the world. However, it brings us not only benefits, but also dangers. I would like to discuss the problem in the following composition. Tourism can be very profitable. Especially when the country or an area is attractive and good weather is guaranteed. The most popular places to which people come are mountains, sea or lakes. The advantage of tourism is the mutual cooperation of the tourists and people who are working in this branch. These first can spend their time relaxing themselves. These second earn money. It's said that travel broadens the mind. I think it's true because we can meet another people and visit various places all over the world. We can find out more about foreign cultures and traditions or languages

A small adventure

A small adventure 12 October 2016 One summer evening about two years ago in June me and two of my friends Jane and Elisabeth were in a summer camp in Karepa. The weather was delightful: it was warm and there wasn't windy, so we decided to go and watch the sunset at the beach. Sadly we weren't allowed to go outside after 11 p.m. and it was already about 11.30 p.m., but we decided to go anyway. All three of us put on our darkest clothes so no one could see us. We sneaked out of our room and ran over a big hilly field into the dark forest. Unfortunately a strict teacher saw us and started coming towards us. We freaked out and started running through the

Writing a report/ Näidis inglise keele aruande tegemiseks

From: Mari Mets, student of Mets Gymnasium Subject: The sporting facilities in our school Date: 2 February 2016 Introduction The purpose of this report is to give an overview of sporting facilities in our school and give some recommendations to improve it. My findings are presented below. Places and rooms Teachers would like us to be outside as much as possible, so majority of lessons take place outdoors. Students can have their lessons free at Tehvandi Sports Centre. In case of a bad weather we usually do our lessons in big and modern sports hall. Equipment Students can use different balls and other gymnastic equipment for free. If a student does not have skis in winter season, he or she can rent skis and ski boots without paying money. PE lessons Usually there are 2-3 PE lessons per week and 45 minutes long. Boys and girls are seperated and therefore students have different teachers. Overall we have 3 PE teachers. Conclusion

New york

approached 8.4 million Land area of 305 square miles (790 km) Currency- US dollar Language English Website www.nyc.gov Climate New York City has a humid subtropical climate The average temperature in January, the area's coldest month, is 32.1 °F (0.1 °C). However temperatures in winter could for a few days be as low as 10 °F (-12 °C) and as high as 50 °F (10 °C). November, December Weather: Expect highs in the 40-50 range in November and 30-40 range in December. It can be freakishly warmer or colder here and there, but it's not likely. What to Wear: Bring a heavier jacket and leave the shorts at home. Consider a hat, scarf, and gloves. Bring an umbrella because you still have to walk to and from subway stops and it's much harder to catch a taxi in the rain, so if you're going to be standing around trying to hail one, you might as well be dry.

Living and working abroad

Getting to birthdays and events involving your family will be very hard. Also when you go living in a new country, there will be a foreign language. If you're not even familiar with the language, it's going to be very hard as well. In a foreign country there will be new food cultures as well as new clothing style and stores, sights, rules, laws. Getting familiar with them is a new experience, but it can be very hard and uncomfortable. The weather in your new country may be very bad in comparison with Estonia. All things considered, if you think moving to a new country and setting up your life there is going to be a very good experience, make sure to check you're theory before making you're decision and doing it.
