Thats why this picture shows us that all people can be friends if we try and ignore that we are diffrent. We might be diffrent from outside, but we are not diffrent in inside. Today society is all about rasicism and that is causing so much trouble and problems, especially in USA. We cant choose our race, skin colour or location where we living. We born and we die togheter. In this picture there is soldiers in there uniform, weapons, they are somewhere in bunker, it seems like it is cold war. Some of them seems happy and some not. War is something you not even wish for your worst enemy. Because all stress, pain, death, country money and society will destroy beneath it eather way. The most deadliest war in history was Secound World War, there was over 80 million deaths. I think this picture is somewhere in this year when was Secound World War. It is most evil thing in world. E.M.Remarque "Läänerindel Muutuseta"

All Quiet on the Western Front Erich Maria Remarque Character List Paul Bäumer - A young German soldier fighting in the trenches during World War I. Paul is the protagonist and narrator of the novel. He is, at heart, a kind, compas-sionate, and sensitive young man, but the brutal expe-rience of warfare teaches him to detach himself from his feelings. His account of the war is a bitter invective against sentimental, romantic ideals of warfare. Read an in-depth analysis of Paul Bäumer. Stanislaus Katczinsky - A soldier belonging to Paul's company and Paul's best friend in the army. Kat, as he is known, is forty years old at the beginning of the novel and has a family at home. He is a resourceful, inventive man and always finds food, clothing, and blankets whenever he and his friends need them.

Reasons · intent was to protect Imperial Japan's advance into Malaya and the Dutch East Indies -- for their natural resources such as oil and rubber -- by neutralizing the U.S. Pacific Fleet. · Both the US and Japan had longstanding contingency plans for war in the Pacific · In 1940, the US halted further shipments of airplanes, parts, machine tools and aviation gas to Japan, which they interpreted as an unfriendly act. · In the summer of 1941, the US ceased the export of oil to Japan due to Japan's continued aggressive expansionist policy and because an anticipated eventual American entrance to the war in Europe prompted increased stockpiling and less commercial use of gasoline

The Tower of London

loomed forebodingly over the huddled wooden buildings of medieval London, a visible expression of Norman power. The White Tower consisted of three storeys and contains the austere Norman Chapel of St. John, which remains one of the best preserved examples of a Norman chapel in England. The present castle, now covering eighteen acres evolved around the Conqueror's keep, being added to by successive generations. The Tower of London in The 20th Century During the First World War eleven German spies were shot by firing squad in the Tower of London. Only one bomb was dropped on the Tower during that war and fortunately it fell on the moat. During the Second World War the Tower of London was closed to the public and the crown jewels were removed to a safer location. During the war the Tower suffered bomb damage and two 19th century buildings were destroyed. Part of the Old Hospital Block was also destroyed.

Americans or Indians. After 1492, there was a struggle for land and domination in the New World. England defeated the Spanish navy in 1588. In 1607, it started its first successful colony in America, called ,,Virginia". That was where Captain John Smith met the beautiful Native american princess, Pocahontas. The colonies grew fast, they became the main colonies in the Americas. From 1754 to 1761, Britain fought a war against the French and drove them out of North America. After that the Americans no longer needed Britain to defend them. Britain tried to tax the colonies but the Americans resisted. Fighting began. The colonies formed a Continental Congress in 1774. In 1776, the Continental Congress decided to break away from England, form an alliance with France, and form a Union of the colonies. Thomas Jefferson wrote a Declaration of Independence. Memoirs of a Geisha While reading the book I was quite impressed about the lifestyle and the hard work, which comes along with becoming a geisha. It was not only a good book to read, it was also like a schoolbook for history. It took place in Japan in the beginning of 19th century and at the World War I. It explained the thought of a geisha: why have many misused the word geisha, and misunderstood the reality. The book itself is about a girl, who was sold to a family by her own father. She worked there as a maid, but as time went by she grew up and a famous and loved geisha decided to train her to become a geisha too. She worked hard, but succeeded well - she was one of the most valued geishas. The book takes us to a tour where any

Terrorism and fighting against it

So, whether the terrorist chooses to identify himself with military terminology, or with civilian term, he is a criminal either way. Terrorism is classified into six categories: civil disorder, political terrorism, non- political terrorism, quasi-terrorism, limited politival terrorist, official or state terrorism. These categories are further divided into different types. For example, Germany's bombing of London and the U.S. atomic destruction of Hiroshima during World War II are called state terrorism. Nowadays, cyberterrorism becomes more and more common and in consideration the importance of IT today (for example if we watch how important have IT became in Estonia), it's dangerous for all of us. Since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack in U.S., there have been so called War on Terror. The War on Terror is an international military campaign led by the United States and the United Kingdom with the support of other NATO and non-NATO countries
