Jagamismajandus turismisektoris platvormid Jagamismajandusel kui mõistel ei ole kindlat definitsiooni, mille abil saaks seda sõna täpselt määratleda. Majandusliku Koostöö ja Arengu Organisatsioon (OECD) piiritleb seda kui uut turgu, mis võimaldab teenuseid osutada võrdsel ja jagatud kasutusel.
