What is wrong with current school education?

What is wrong with current school education? School education right now, like democracy, is not perfect. It has to be perfected all the time, according to the ways of life, which are always changing. There definately is not a certain perfect solution. Firts problem in current education system coul be that students are put into a „box“. Everyone gets graded by a certain standard, if you can not reach that line, then yo have failed. This is the fairest way, at least in concept. But not all the people have same abilities and strengths. Education should be more personal, focusin on a certain students talents and

How far can we go being tolerant?

How far can we go being tolerant? Tolerance- it is the willingness to accept or tolerate somebody ot something especially opinions or behaviuor that you may not agree with, or people who are not like you. When we speak about tolerance and being tolerant, then of course all of us do not have the same opinion about tolerance. There is saying that there are as many different opinions as people in the world and talking about tolerance is not different. How we tolerate other people and their behaviour depends a lot of how we are raised and educated, where we live and who we connect to When we hear word ,,tolerant" then mostly we connect it with homo sexuals, racism, religion and all kinds of different people(disabled people for example) and how we tolerate those things. London - The City and Beyond

The Barbican Centre is a very big complex of buildings, towers, garages and walkways. It was built in the 70s and most Londoners don't like the way it looks. It is the largest performing arts centre in Europe and home to two symphony orchestras, and art gallery and the amazing Museum of London. Fleet Street once was a road between the City and Westminster. Then it became the centre of publishing and newspaper business for centuries. The Daily Courant was the first newspaper published there. The terrible World War II destroyed many of the beautiful buildings in the City. Luckily, some important old churces like Temple Church are still standing. One of the most interesting things to see there is St Paul's Cathedral. It is 110 metres high. If you climb to the top of it, you'll see a wonderful view of London. The oldest building in the City is the historic White Tower, which was built by William the Conqueror in 1078. The whole group of buildings and towers is

To Room Nineteen

. As she discovered that it was housework, children and husband, that made her lose her self-identity, she stared to hate everything in the house. Finally, she found a room where she could be alone and independent. In this room she forgot everything, nothing else mattered but her happiness. I enjoyed reading this book because it gave me many thoughts to think about. For example there is so many people, who have everything they have ever wanted and they still are not satisfied. And there are people who have nothing, but they are pleased and happy. This book proved that the most important thing in this life is to be friend with yourself, to find peace. I don’t mean peace in the world or peace in home, I mean peace in ourselves, in our soul and heart. For some time I have been a bit confused because I am, right now, living on my dream and sometimes it feels like I can’t have these big, often unreal dreams I used to have. “When

Head of Shows Development Bob Sweet Chelsea is, definitely, an event most gardeners love to visit and remember long afterwards. But why it is so? I have read lot about that Show. Everybody seems to be like this, even if there are lots of not so good things. First I thought it could be very nice way to spend day with family but Chelsea is not a family day out and they take care in targeting the garnering market. There is no discount for children, no family tickets, no children's play areas. Exhibitions want customers and our job is to manage the balance between the needs of exhibitors and those of the visitors. It's important to have the right number of exhibitors in each

Many centuries ago there were not many ways to communicate with your friends. The most common way of corresponding with friends was sending a telegram or letter. Nowadays there are many new possibilities for communicating with others: internet, cellular phones etc. Over the last fifty years, businesses have increasingly dependent on the use of telecommunications. I think using mobile phones are the easiest and most comfortable way of corresponding with each other, because cellulars are so small and you can fit them anywhere you want and carry them with you. Inglise keele essee teemal: ,,Senior high school students – old enough to live on their own?\'\'

Senior high school students old enough to live on their own? Senior high school students, are they old enough to live on their own or not? Moving out on your own for high school at the age of 16 can be a thrilling experience. No more restrictions and home coming times or annoying schedules. Is this freedom suitable for everyone then, especially at that age? Despite the fact that you have the freedom of choice to do everything you want to there are many disadvantages. Like your mom is not there every day to prepare you a hot dish, doing the laundry and washing the tableware, also all the phone-, water- and electricity bills to be paid or the simple fact that you have to buy everything from the food to the toilet paper - all by yourself. This may be too difficult to high school students. So you might end up using large amounts of alcohol or some illegal substances to relax more in the weekends.

The Executive power in Australia is in the hands of the Commonwealth Government lead by the Prime Minister. Today the Prime Minister is John Howard, the leader of the Liberal Party. History Australia was once a part of the giant continent Gondwana. It included Africa, South America and Antarctica. First Australia and Antarctica split from Gondwana, then Australia broke away from Antarctica and began to move north. Aborigines arrived there about 50 000 years ago. They had occupied the whole continent by 30 000 years ago. At that time Tasmania was still part of the mainland. About 20 000 years ago the ice began to melt and the rising water level cut Tasmania off from the mainland. Traders from what is now Indonesia are thought to have been visiting Australia well before the 17th century. Chinese, Malaysian and Arab sea Captains may also have landed in Northern Australia after the 15 th century.

At times of low electrical demand, excess generation capacity is used to pump water into the reservoir. And when there is a big demand, like in the evenings, then the water is released and flows through the turbines. there are many Advantages for hydropower. *The mayor advantage of hydroelectricity is eliminating the cost of fuel. You don't have to fear about the increasing cost of fossil fuels like oil and natural gas. *The second advantage is that hydroelectric plants last longer than fuel-fired plants. For example eagles, which hunt on these grounds just abandon these areas and move on to nest somewhere else. Also the growth of the bigger trees is hindered by the underwood vegetation, which consist of willow, alder and aspen. Pärnu river affords many opportunities for tourism and recreational activity. As an example: 1) Fishing: There is a fish farm in Roosna-Alliku that breed rainbow trouts 2) Canoeing: There are several enterprises (e.g. Edela Loodusmatkad OÜ) which offer canoeing trip for a day or up to 3 days. Even our own school has 2 canoes. 3) Wildlife tourism: Along the river basin there is abundance of different wildlife species, for example broad-leaved trees and different bird species, which are under conservation of the environmental law.

Shatelie world

Shatelie world "Once upon a time there lived a beautiful young girl whom was called Shatelie..." A nice beginning, isn't it? But the truth isn't so fabulous and spotless as the reality our little heroine had to face. Yes, there is proof that she lived, but beauty? I'm afraid it's just for illustration, because as a matter of fact her father was an ordinary farmer, and logically she had as much beauty as a goat was a cow. It means she was considered quite ugly. One day, after the tiring work in the garden, she felt very dizzy all of sudden and soon fainted under the heating sunlight. When she woke up, she was lying on the floor of a beautiful castle. There were flowers everywhere, but no doors as she noticed soon.

Policy of 2016

for not leaving the EU. After voting and seeing the results, a lot of people who voted for leaving regretted it, because they just wanted to see if UK is capable to do something big like this. That is why UK is extending the Brexit, because most of the people do not want it. I think when Brexit is finally accomplished, then we will see what will happen and what will be changed in British people lives and also how it affects our lives. I think there would not be much changes, because the Unites Kingdom does not want to become people’s enemy. In November 8, 2016, the United States had 58th presidential election. The biggest nominees were Donald Trump, who won 30 states, and Hillary Clinton, who won 20 states. Hillay had 48% of the votes and Donald 46%, but Donald won, because of the winning number of the states. I do not like him at all, because he is racist and he is patronising women. He says what he thinks and he

Besides it is very good for environment. Thanks to using bicycles cities air will be cleaner and air is not such impure. Thanks to cleaner air people's can breathe better air. This is partly true, but taking up cycling instead of using a car is really more dangerous than use only cars. Thanks to taking up cycling traffic will go busier and messier. There is much different kind of movers in traffic and it makes traffic really dangerous. It is clear that it is not too dangerous. There are many cities where cycling is very popular, for example in Copenhagen. If this method will be chosen, city needs to build special cycling roads. Thanks to these roads traffic should be safer. More energy is used up taking items to recycling banks than the benefits gained from recycling materials. It could be argued that there is more energy used up. There is made lot of campaigns, spend lot of money and so on. But quite big proportion of people does not care about it and

My ideal house

This is a house where I'd like to live when I'm in university. This house is quite small and is perfect for me when I don't have children. My career choice means lots of years study so I don't have to worry about the rooms for children because I plan to have them after I have graduated university. I plan to study in Stockholm and it's a perfect location for the house. In Stockholm I can enjoy the seaview. On the second floor there is a bathroom which is fully equipped. Small jacuzzy is just a perfect place where to relax from my exhausting day. Watching the eventide makes you forget all your problems. On the second floor there is also a bedroom. It is very simple but cozy. In front of the white bed there is a brown carpet

My weekend

Also then i don´t have to go to the school, which is also good. Usually my weekend goes like this : On Friday, about 2 olock I always go to home. This is the time when the bus will leave to Hiiumaa. At 5 o´clock I´m at home. After that I eat and talk a little with my parents and sister. I think that about at 8 o´clock I hang outside with my friends. We are usually just walking and talking about our weekends. Sometimes, later at that night, we go to some party. There are many people and usually we are talking, dancing and laughing. About at 03.00 I´m always at home sleeping. It´s Saturday morning, or should I say afternoon. Usually I wake around 12.00 . Then I will eat ``breakfast`` and watch TV. At Saturday I like to be at home. I just rest and chat in computer and talk with my parents. At 5 o´clock we go to my granny´s house. I love to be there. She makes so good pancakes with apple-jelly. Also her house is very homely and cosy.

Teater NO99

I chose to write about this theatre because I like it the most. It is the most modern theatre I think and the plays are also most startling and astonishing, compare to other theatres in Estonia. It began to operate in February 2005, so it is one of the youngest theatres in Estonia. Probably that's why it is very different from the others and its repertoire is more contemporary then classical. Their first play what "Sometimes you feel that life will end and there hasn't been any love". The theatre also organizes so called one-time "actions", in which you can't be certain if it's going to be a success of failure, because the ideas are somewhat crazy. It has two theatre halls, but their plays have been staged in the open air as well. For example one time in an old swimming pool and also in three abandoned airplane hangars. Their imagination has no boundaries. The theatre's artistic director is Tiit Ojasoo, and Ene-Liis Semper is

They also influence the way people look at the world & even make them change their views. In other words, mass media play a very important part in shaping public opinion. Millions of people read popular issues of newspapers & magazines in their spare time. Newspapers publish articles which cover the latest international & national events, give a full coverage of commercial, financial and public affairs. Many people buy newspapers also for the radio & TV programmes which are printed there. Pros and cons of sports I'm going to talk about advantages and disadvantages of sports. There are several really good reasons why to do sports but always there is something negative in every good thing you have to take into account. On the one hand, sports are really good for your health. Sporting keeps you fit and gives you dicipline. People who do not sport regularly have more illnesses and tend to be overweight. Also, doing sports even extends life and help reduce the feelings of sadness and depression. In addition to that, sporting keeps children busy. Nowadays a lot of kids tend to stupid things
