Water pollution

Such as the water pollution is global ecological problem we have to know what can we do to prevent this contamination and how to keep waters clean. There are many things we can do to help. We have to be careful about what we throw down our sink or toilet. We can't throw paints, oils or other forms of litter down the drain. By having more plants in our garden we are preventing fertiliser, pesticides and contaminated water from running off into nearby water sources. We must not throw litter into rivers, lakes or oceans. We should clean up any litter we see on beaches or in rivers and lakes, make sure it is safe to collect the litter and put it in a nearest bin. Water is a very important resource for people and the environment. We have to start saving the clean water for next generations and stop thinking only about ourselves.

Media in my life

With the help of TV it is possible to study foreign languages, to learn a lot of amazing things. At the same time there are many arguments against TV. Accessing watching has a bad effect on the eyes. Today a lot of people have become TV-addicts, in other words couch potatoes. Instead of going to a theatre or reading books mankind prefer to watch TV. But still, television plays a very important role in peoples life in spite of the rise of the Internet & other high-technology sources of information. So today mass media offers us a great variety to choose from. There are many educational, political & entertainment programmes, so everyone can find what to listen to, to read or to watch.

They made new laws. It was the start of "Japan's Pollution Diet". Today, Japanese cities are among the world's least polluted, according to the World Health Organization. Air pollution in Japan

Wind energy vs oil shale

To: Environmental protection agency From: Subject: Wind power versus oil shale Date: September 22 Wind power vs oil shale Introduction The purpose of this report is to analyse if wind power is better than power which is produced from oil shale. The report is based on EWPA (Estonian Wind Power Association) article which is published on their web page. Wind power It is said that the wind power is the most expensive source of power, but this statement is not plausible, because the recourse -wind- is for free. Calculations have shown that if new oil shale blocks were built, it would cost 3473 million EEK in a year per capita. On the other hand, if wind power were renewed in similar amount, it would cost only 868 million EEK per capita in a year. It means that if the wind power were renewed, it would be 17 370 millions EEK cheaper. The fact that wind energy saves resources and produces neither dangerous ...

Argumentative presentation: Estonia does need a nuclear power station

Energy was produced there from gas imported from Russia. That is not a reliable source of energy that can scale. In addition, Estonia does not have an adequate electricity grid network with neighboring countries. Therefore, there are no means to cover local demand with the current resources. Second of all, the problem with most renewables is that it does not scale well. Furthermore they do not have constant output sources of energy. They only supplement the existing systems. The biggest problem is the the increasing cost, if the most optimal places are taken. There are problems with using nuclear energy. For example, nuclear proliferation, plant decommissioning and waste are among the top problems. However, it is greenest sustainable constant form of energy that Estonia can potentially afford. The fact, that Estonia has plutonium fuel resources available is just an additional bonus. To sum up

Simple and small ways affect the enviroment for the better

Simple and small ways affect the enviroment for the better Everyone can do something for the enviroment. All of us should do something, because enviroment is very important to people. Our planet is changing and we need to help it change for the better. One way how to help the enviroment is saving energy. You should switch off anything, that uses electricity. If you’re not using it, then turn it off, it’s simple. This goes for lights, televisions and so on. Also try unplugging if possible, because even when an appliance is turned off, it still may use power. You could switch your light bulbs to LED light bulbs, because these are using less energy and even last longer. If you use renewable energy sources, you won’t cause burning fossil fuels, that causes pollution. Another way how to help the enviroment would be saving water. Turn off the water, when you’re not using it. People often leave water running, when they’re br...

movement of technical personnel within and between the public and private sectors. Attempts to link these flows to firm performance show that high levels of technical collaboration, technology diffusion and personnel mobility contribute to the improved innovative capacity of enterprises in terms of products, patents and productivity. There are many different approaches to analysing national innovation systems. Firm level innovation surveys question enterprises on their sources of knowledge most relevant to innovation and allow a ranking of different linkages by industrial sector and country. Cluster analysis focuses on the interactions between particular types of firms and sectors, which can be grouped according to their technological and networking characteristics. Patterns of knowledge flows can differ markedly from cluster to cluster and also within countries specialised around different industrial clusters (e.g. forestry, chemicals)

its greatest shortcoming - feeling of repetitiveness. The nature of these examples also is conductive of ruining the structure of the book, it felt that they were largely to blame for the fact oftentimes it was impossible to tell what exactly one was reading about and what this section of the book was devoted to. To get a sense of the structure the whole book adheres to one has to refer to contents table and it's definitely major drawback. The sources Norman utilized in composing this book are numerous and most of them are respectable publications in the field (many are his own) or accident reports and rulings. These sources got organized into footnote-like notations in the main body of the text and I kept expecting to see something the bottom of the page or, as sometimes is the case with digital editions, at the end of the chapter, but Norman or his publisher have made a decision to have them as notes at the end

They just enjoy life itself and try to inspire those who are too consistent. Lindgren’s humor and love for humanity was legendary. She represented the Swedish spirit for the rest of the world. She speaks out on behalf of living life against violence. Her books

Essay on Iron Man

Iron Man essay A superhero is a character with extraordinary powers who is dedicated to protecting the public. However, this definition can be matched with different sets of character traits.
