The invention of the car changed the world

world we live in and when we meet such an unusual situation, we´d have a fair opportunity to say that cars have a badbad influence on our welfare society. In the other hand for example in the winter mornings, looking out of the window is cold enough to send shivers down to our spines,we´d thank the lord that there is a warm car in the garage, ready to take us to school or work, without beeing frozened. Everything has it ´s own good and bad sides, which often compensate eachother. It´s hard to discuss how important something is about one thing and how ,,nothing" is the other thing. In that situation we have to make compromises and stay tolerant. Of course cars are bad and make our gorgeous nature fade away but we also need those machines to keep on moving as we are used to. Let´s just hope there will be next smart inventor, who will come up with some kind of clever idea to move from one place to

Tallinn

Tallinn Tallinn is a beautiful city in NorthEstonia. It is washed and influenced by the Gulf of Finland in the north. Tallinn has a lot on sights and I'm going to introduce some of them. Town Hall Square the square in front of Tallinn's Town Hall functioned as a marketplace for centuries, dating back to times even before the Town Hall itself was built. Through the years this served as a place of celebrations as well as executions. St. Olav's Church was the tallest church in Medieval Europe. The earliest data on St. Olav's Church come from 1267. Little is known about the building of this Gothic style church and its early years. Church of the Holy Ghost is the only sacred building from the 14th century in Tallinn that has preserved its original form. The simple, humble Church of Holy Ghost was completed in the 1360's, but for the exception of the baroque spire, it h...

Speech: TV is Little More Than a Waste of Time

Most Estonians have a TV or even several TV's at home. On one side, there are many people who think that television is just a waste of time and money. Some people spend hours in front of TV and it can be bad for your health. On the other side, It is thought that watching TV is a good way to relax. They like to be entertained after a long day and they believe that television can make you happier. I have to say that I understand both sides. I believe that television can have a negative effect on children because there is so much violence in movies and TV shows. Also watching TV can make you lazy. It's physically, mentally, and emotionally lazy. It requires no physical, mental, or emotional participation It's an addictive excuse that keeps people from leaving the house and communicating with real people. The commercials are also very annoying. But I think that there are still more positive aspects than negative ones.

Many newspapers and magazines feature stories about the private lives of famous people

famous people. We know what they eat, where they buy their clothes and who they love. We also often see pictures of them in private situations. Is it appropriate for a magazine or newspaper to give this kind of private information about people? Nowadays a lot of newspapers and magazines contain stories, different facts and pictures with famous people. Some people think that only magazines should feature private life of famous people, but others think on the contary. This essay will show both sides. On the one hand, it is appropriate for a newspapers to write some information about famous people. People , who are intrested in famous people’s lifes want to know about their achievements, goals or other important things, than read about how they spend their holidays in the resort or with whom they go to the football match. Newspapers should offer more serious information, that readers may fill their minds with some necessary and interesting facts. Futhermore, newspaper`s

Simple and small ways affect the enviroment for the better

Don’t use plastic bags, use reusable fabric bags instead. Don’t waste food, use up your leftovers. Also if you have usable clothes or household items that you don’t need anymore, donate them to charity or sell them, instead of sending them to the landfill. You can protect the enviroment by reducing, reusing and recycling. All these little things like using rechargable batteries, turning off your computers at night, paying bills online, using both sides of paper or planting a tree and so on, all these things matter. It’s not much asked to do these simple and small things for the enviroment.

Marriage vs cohabiting

it being official. I think that people who say they don’t see the point in marriage and don’t ever plan on marrying are not 100% sure about their partners or themselves and are afraid of the commitment of marriage. At the end of the day it’s just a lifelong promise to your other side and it can be done without spending much money. To sum up, I think that marriage is the best promise people can make to their other sides and I also think that it is right to live in cohabitation before marriage and to really get to know eachother.

Life in town vs Life in the country

polluted than in Town, which enlarge people lenght of life. Food and other important things for life is cheaper than in Town, because it is really hard to find a job and almost impossible to spend money. People who live in the Country don't need to dress like pople in Town. In Town it is very important to look good and be well-established, specially in the downtown, but in the Country it doesn't matter what people wear. Although life in the Country is easier , it has its own negative sides like: unemployment, establishment will be closed, distress services are hardly available. Usually people prefer to live in the Town, because in the Country don't have job or it is dfficult to find it. Many schools, post offices and store will be closed, because there aren't enough people who will need it. If in the Country should be happen any emergency, it will takes time to deal the situation, which put people to worry. Life in Town is completely different

Are student organizations beneficial for students?

Are student organizations beneficial for students? This essay will deal with the following aspects of the question „Are student organizations beneficial for students?“. It is noticeable that student organizations are quite popular subject right now. Topical issue is that there may be different opinion about how beneficial student organizations for students really are. Student organizations usefulness could be disputable, beacause there are always postive and negative side to everything. One the one hand it appears that some students might support and think that student organizations are really advantageous for them and others do not support that idea. For example many stundents might complain about that sudent organizations are full of politics and assuming that they do not consider it necessary and beneficial to join any of them. It seems that they may have based their opinion on someone else’s comments or e...

Film review “Scent of a Woman“ 1992 by Martin Brest

affirming film experience. Even though it's over 2 hours 30 min, it fly's by. Scent of a Woman is based on the 1975 Italian film Profumo Di Donna. I think this incredible movie leaves a legacy of life. It makes us appreciate life and also understand that a life can be lived in a minute just like Al Pacino says in one of this movie's most beautiful scenes. The movie also talks about values, integrity, and moral principles, by sides of this movie's wonderful script it's incredible cast makes it one of the most outstanding movies I have ever seen. And the humor of this movie is really great. I truly recommend it.

Logical argument

8. If________, then_______. 8. LOGICAL ARGUMENT 8.1 Questions or conclusions based on conditions with "if". If farmers really need to kill foxes, why don't they just shoot them? What if there isn't enough work to go round? What if the employers decide to introduce new working practices? And what happens if the two sides can't agree? What would happen then if state benefits were cut completely? If this also makes Britain more attractive for overseas visitors, so well and good. You'd only use capital punishment if you were absolutely sure that you'd convicted the right person. It'd be O.K. if they recognised the quality of the songs their grandmother had taught them and went on to sing them to their own grandchildren. 8

Tolerance.

mockery and the fact that you may be rejected from the society. Of course there are many people who think differently. The facts that Christians burned heretics, tortured thousands of innocent people until they confessed to something they did not do and that Christianity goes against science makes us difficult to be tolerant. Some of us may have a question: "Why should we be kind to them if they have done so much bad to us?" There are no us or they. We all have our good and bad sides. However evolution doesn't like tolerance. Tolerance means, that we will accept all abnormalities and freaks. It will corrupt our system and stop evolution in its tracks. Already human average IQ is falling due to too tolerant habitat for people. For a conclusion I must say that we should be considerate with everybody. We all are different. It should not matter what color is our skin or what we believe. We all are equal.

Why is Australia young people's dreamland

They you can quickly work themselves up, and can start thinking about family and their own home. They can improve their skills in their hobby or just enjoy their hobby. There are a lot of training-camps and different schools for people with different interests. Young people can enjoy more life, instead of working 8 to 10 hours a day. So these are good things what I mentioned in the text. Mostly people go there to get a better life. But of course, there are some negative sides too. For example health services are very expensive there and education costs a lot more than in Estonia. Definitely, it's better to go there if you have some friends or just acquaintance there, who can help you and you have someone to speak with and someone to relay on. I would like to go to Australia, at least for some months, because I would like to see and try different life.

At this time, generally, some people begin to bleed both internally and externally. Death, if it occurs, follows typically six to sixteen days after symptoms appear and is often due to low blood pressure from fluid loss. The author of the article does not take sides. He is just describing the situation and does not give his own opinions. He quotes people who know more about Ebola and paraphrases their opinions. The aim of an article is to inform people of Ebola and make them think that it is not just a disease it is very dangerous disease because of how easily it spreads. The article "Why Ebola is so dangerous" is very current right now because the disease is spreading all the time, and more and more people are dying due to it. There is no

The film itself was very sad and involved two complitely different sides of life love and pain it costs. First the film fooled me and gave me a reason to believe that there is really love, that makes people happy. True, there is such thing as true love, but does it always makes us happy? And if it makes, than for how long? Actors did a really good job, their eye and body language revealed happiness, trust, love and desire. The couple tried to work it out, when John went back to the military, but next to the distance was another important aspect time.

The farmer knelt down at the boy's side and said, "Son, you don't want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would." With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers. In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself To a specially made shoe. Looking back up at the farmer, he said, "You see sir, I don't run too well myself, and he will need Someone who understands." The world is full of people who need someone who understands. 1. Although Titanic is best known for carrying the rich and famous between Europe and the United States, the Ship actually had several purposes: 1. To carry British and US mail--hence the full name of the ship is Royal Mail Ship (RMS) Titanic. 2. To carry general cargo and frozen meat since at that time Europe could not produce enough livestock to meet its own needs. 3. To carry first-class passengers in great luxury, second-class passengers in great comfort and third-class passengers with great economy. 4. To fly the flag of Great Britain and uphold national honor. How does virtual communication influence our behaviour and relationships

exception was that I had a disease for a few weeks and I had to go to the doctor's in Tartu. As you can assume, I live at countryside, so I mostly socialized with my family, neighbours and of course, online. When I finally went back to the civilized world I had a blast. I was afraid, cautious and most of all retarded at communicating. I have experienced what too much virtual communication can do to us and believe me you don't want to try it. While having some negative sides, virtual communication is generally still a very good thing because thanks to this advanced technology people from countries around the globe can communicate quickly and easily every day. And not only ordinary people use it; virtual communication has also spawned a whole new field of diplomacy and politics. In fact, it is so convenient that most people don't even bug to send classical, physical letters anymore, which in not too bad in my opinion.

The effect of modern technology on our everyday life

watching videos, they are spending less time being active or exercising. This lifestyle can bring to obesity, and it, in turn, can lead to serious health problems and even to death. Technology has the negative effects on sleep habits. People do online activities that keep them up too late; information stream, that passes through people`s brains, can make it difficult to turn off our brains and go to sleep. Technology has both positive and negative sides. It is in our hands, how to use it. If we use it for positive things, it will have positive effect of our lives and vice versa, using it for negatiive things give negative effect. The developments should be in a positive way and they should not have any negative impact on present or future generations, because future is not technology – it is people.

Museum was opened here. The extensive reconstruction in 1966-1968 aimed at finding a compromise between the 15th-16th century architecture, the 17th century reconstructions and the needs of a modern museum. New floors of flagstone plates were laid, a heating and running water systems were installed, the stairs were repaired and, to some extent, renovated. The earth part of the bastion outside was made lower in the southern and western sides. In the southern side the excavation was bordered with a protective wall and an entrance was built in this side. It led to the hall and auxiliary rooms. The annex and the original tower were connected by a former embrasure, thus the visitor gets to the first floor. The staircase that takes the visitor upstairs was made during the restoration in 1966-68.

A few years back, Arkady performed in Nõmme sports centre which I also attended with my family and since then, I have been completely enraptured by his music and skills. I, as a french horn player myself, understand the difficulties and of course the beauty of the instrument best and I am absolutely delighted that a man like him exists to use so many different sides of the brass instruments. To master the french horn itself is very difficult, but to use the other brass so skillfully is in my opinion amaizing. I have listend to many professional french horn players around the globe, but Arkady still remains my favorite. When I started this assignment, the first person who came to my mind was Arkady Shilkloper, but before making a final decision I fliped through a few magazines to find something else. I did find

Wooden stakes were used to reinforce the other sides of the hole. 140 200 workers would pull the stone upright perhaps using a pulley. So our second idea was to give the access to the platform for free, and use another way for earning profit (e.g. advertisements, collaboration with schools) 6. What are the 6 steps you need to cover when doing and innovation industry analysis?

George Orwell "Animal Farm" essay - "Human nature exposed in the novel"

work, saying that pigs should not burden themselves with working, as they have to do all the thinking. Although animals were very tired and Napoleon had sold much of their food for money, they were still happy. They believed that as long as life develops and prospers, everything is good. They considered every word that Napoleon said to be true and Napoleon used it for his own good. It is also very common in today's World, where people take advantage of others' weaker sides and turn them good for their own benefit. In conclusion humans could be considered as very self-centered creatures, who all in all aim at individual power over other people. They are capable of doing anything just as long as it will produce good results and bring them the outcome they were targeting for. The same thing is reflected in "Animal Farm" the brutal dishonesty and injustice against others just to achieve your goals and to satisfy your power-hunger.

Tund koosneb aeroobsest osast, kus tehakse põhisamme, lihtsaid sammukombinatsioone ja hüppeid, mis sarnanevad stepitunni liikumistega. In the end there are exterior finishing, consists of weather shield, ventilation gap and lining boards. Internal walls are similar, but there are blasterboard on both sides what are also painted. Floors are important elements of house, because they must provide an accetable surface, sound and thermal insulation, and also carry and transfer imposed and dead loads. In my house is one ground floor what is made of pre cast concrete and upper floor what is made of timber. We chose a timber floor, because in private house is special sound insulation not required.
