Suggested improvements to shop

To: Clara Philipp From: .................. Subject: Suggested improvements to shop Date: 1st April 2011 Introduction The purpose of this report is to make recommendations for possible improvements in the shop. Advertising To begin with, it would be a good idea to think about buying advertising space on local television stations or radio stations. Moreover, we should distribute flyers around our local community, newspaper inserts or on community bulletin boards. In this way the public knows that our shop exists and we will have larger circle of customers. Online Store Secondly, I believe we can also expand our shop by opening up an online store. Albeit a large

Report-Suggetions for the shop

To: John Howell From: Merike Aasmäe Subject: Suggetions for the shop Date: 1st May 2012 Purpose The purpose of this report is to recommend ways to make the shop more profitable. Interior Firstly, one suggestion would be to make in your shop some innovations by changing it modern. A visual revamp of your retail shop interior will make your business feel and look brand new, and attract a whole new customer base. The interior design is a very important consideration so you need to give it a big thought. Background music Secondly, I think it would be useful to use background music in the shop. Background music keeps customers comfortable and relaxed. Keeping your employees happy is just as important as doing the same for your customers. Without good employees, you'll never be able to reach the

Report to the shop manager

To: Walter White, Manager From: Rick Grimes Subject: Suggested improvements to make the shop more profitable Date: 3rd December 2012 Purpose: The purpose of this report is to make recommendations on how to improve the shop and make it more profitable. Discounts: Firstly, one suggestion would be to make several discounts on popural products. For example, reducing the price of a popural item by about 15 percent would really pay off. Also if a customer buys two same items, he gets the third one for free. This would certainly be profitable and I am confident that more people would visit your shop. Extra shop assistants: Lastly, I think that hiring an extra two or three shop assistants would be a very good idea too.

Report: Suggested improvements to the shop

To: Tim Burton From: Ester Kängsepp Subject: Suggested improvements to the shop Date: 28th Feb 2013 1) Purpose The purpose of this report is to suggest ways to make the shop more profitable. 2) Shop condition The shop condition is at this moment very bad. Shop has lost many customers and it has changed a lot lately- has become not so attractive like it used to be and income has decreased because of that. Firstly, it would be a good idea to make some flayers about the shop’s planned changes. 3) Shop’s apperance Secondly, I think it would be useful to refresh shop’s appearance. Paint it all over again and redecorate the interior. Customers would like that and it will invite new people to the shop. 4) Increasing the shop’s income

Shop assistant started to blame me and told that game is fine and the problem is about my computer. I asked her to check the game but she didn't listen and asked me to leave. I was suprised and offended. I had a very bad impression of your shop and I hope that it will not repeat.

The Great Fire kokkuvõte

The great Fire The Great Fire of London of September 1666 was one of the moost famous incidents in Stuart England. It was the second tragedy to hit the city in the space of 12 months. The fire started in Pudding Lane. The fire started in a baker's shop owned by Thomas Farriner who was the king's baker. His maid failed to put out the ovens at the end of the night. Once it started, the fire spread quickly. The city was basically made out of wood and with September following on from the summer, the city was very dry. Strong winds fanned the flames. In 1665, during the plague, the king, Charles II, had fled in London. His plan, in 1666 (he stayed in London and took charge of the operation to save the city) was to create fire-breaks.

Rewards cards Firstly, I think it would be a good idea to start giving out rewards cards to loyal customers to show them that we value them as clients and it would also show to our future clients that we are a company that supports their customers. Lower prices Secondly, I would suggest slightly lowering our prices and letting the public know of it. We should grow a reputation as a company that is not trying to rob their clients of their money. A letter of complaint.

72711 Paide Estonia 5 December 2010 8 All Saints St., Mayflower, London N1 9RL UK Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to complain about a faulty CD-walkman and your shop assistant's unprofessional behaviour. In the first place, I am not happy with my new CD-walkman. It played only on a steady surface. It also played the first three songs only and then started from the beginning. In addition to that, when I returned to the shop for help the shop assistant was very arrogant and did not provide me any help at all. I would, therefore, like you to return my money or replace my CD-walkman immediately and also talk with the shop assistant about her behaviour.

Supermarket vs cornershop

Supermarket vs Corner shop Most people are under the impression that they like supermarkets. However, there are big vairety of those, who love to shop in corner shops. Both shops have their pros and cons. So which shop should we perfer to? Firstly, supermarket's main advantage is big vairety of all kinds of products. There are all kinds of different sorts and you can be sure to find different discounts too. Many discounts are with shopping carts, so it is important to have one. On the other hand, there are bigger queues than corner shops and can be more difficulties to find products, because area is much bigger. Secondly, corner shops main advantage is location. They are closer to

Dear Sir, 12/10/08 I am writing to complain about the behaving of one of your employees. I want to inform you about that I was treated really rudely by a shop assistant at your department store the day before. I was doing my shopping at your department store yesterday after I came from work and I got into a rude conversation with your employee after I did not remember my credit card pin-code and tried to pay in cash after that. But except a pleasant smile, I got insulted and told that I should know if I do have money on my credit card or not. Concerning how pleasant the employees at your shop usually are I was very surprised by this acting

Shopping - pleasure or obligation

Shopping - pleasure or obligation We need to do shopping almost every day. Because we had to buy meat, fruits and other food products. Furthermore people need medicines clothes and stationary. But buying isn't always obligation to demand basic needs. Perhaps it cab be pleasure. Right now huge department stores and supermarkets are very poplar places. In there you can do everything, start the day with shopping and end with eating. Positive is that you can find almost everything in big shop. Very exciting places for shopping is marketplaces, flea market and street markets like Portobello Road Market in London. There you will find collectible and antique junk. If you find something interesting you can bargain about the price. Then you feel what is pleasure of shopping. Shopping is very annoying if you have to go to the shop when you don't want to go. Like with mother or girlfriend. They always have to try all clothes and shoes when they go to the shop or boutique

News report

Two very clever burglars were arrested in the early hours of the morning. The incident occured in the alley behind Pearson's Electronics Shop, in the South Street. Joe Lee, 30, and Peeter Brown, 23, had just finished loading a van with thousands of pounds worth of electronics equipment when they were surrounded by policeman. The two men had been breaking into electronics shop in the Forest city area for several months. They had continuosly eluded police by cleverly disarming alarms and changing getaway vehicles. Captain Green of the police department said that they had been on burglars trail for some time now and that they had only been waiting for the right moment to catch them in the act.

Kaebuskiri - A letter of complaint

The CD-walkman I bought was completely faulty. I am very active person who travels a lot and mostly I like to listen to music while I am walking, but the walkman is played only on a steady surface however, it should be played in every position. In addition to that, it plays only the first three songs and then starts from the beginning. To make matters worse, when I returned to your store to take it back, the shop assistant was neither friendly nor helpful. I am very disappointed. I will not be visiting your store again. As manager you should guard against such appalling treatment of your costumers in future to keep them visiting your store. However, if it is not possible, the shop assistant should be fired. Yours faithfully,

Proposal report

Subject: Proposal concerning the new shopping center Date: November 11, 2013 Introduction The purpose of this proposal is to give insight into the residents' committee's opinions regarding the new shopping center. Reasons it should be built The resident's committee has concluded that the new shopping center would be useful for people in our town as it would give them more choice in where to shop. Also, since there are no any decent sized shopping centers nor malls nearby, the new one would make people's lives easier since they would not have to drive as far out of the town as they are used to at the moment. Stores the shopping center should contain The shopping center should most importantly contain a big grocery store where people could buy their everyday food and drinks. Clothing stores would also be very useful as there are not many around this town

A complaint letter

6 March 2014 Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing in order to complain about your product I bought. It is an i-phone, which I ordered from an online shop. A week later it stopped working properly. First of all, the on/off button is broken and does not let me open my phone. The screen colour of the device was also unacceptably almost black and white. In addition to this, the sound was a little bit off and I could no adjust it in the settings. For some reason I also could not see my messeages at all. No only the screen was borken, the camera was not working either.

A letter of complaint example

A letter of complaint Dear Ms Maddox, I am writing to draw your attention to a product that I have bought from your online shop. The product I am talking about is an iPhone. Firstly, I would like to point out that the most annoying things are that the screen colour is totally wrong and I am unable to receive any new messages. Secondly, I have to say that the on/off switch gets stuck almost daily, so I can not use my phone like I should be able to use it. Thirdly, I have encountered some problems with the sound and also with the camera. That means the camera will not focus and I can not hear any ringtone at all.

Some people say that schools should not offer meals for pupils

Some people say that schools should not offer meals for pupils In city schools are the meals pointless because there can children they own food with him or buy it some place nearby. Otherwise on country schools the lunge meals has to be because people live far from home otherwise they don't get their warm meal on right time. Near the city schools are always some shop or café where hey could enjoy their lunge. All so they would get more free time to be with their friends. But that would be an problem for some child parent who don't have money to send their child out for lunge. Also city schools food isn't very quality, because it has made by to much amount. Country schools are small and have a cheep very quality food. Cooks who work there usually has love for cooking so they make food with joy. That's what gives a food a good taste.

My dream trip

If I had a chance to travel, I would definitely love to go to Paris. It is a fashionable city.I`d like to fashion show and buy some beatiful clothes and also enjoy the beauty of this wonderful place. I was inspired by some of the movies I used to watch when I was little. There is always a scene where there is romance or happiness and that scene will definitely take place in the beatiful capital of France,Paris. I would love to see the amazing Eiffel Tower . I wanted to visit some shop there. I`m sure any place where I go in Paris is very intresting. Paris, there are a lot of wonderful museums and buildings, for example Louvre Museum, the triumphal Arc and so on especially the painting everyone wants to have a look at her secret smile. Also enjoy the beauty of this wonderful place. But I`dont like to live in Paris, because I like to live in Estonia because this is still my homeland.

Witness Report

Witness Report As I was walking along Western Road about 11.00 on Saturday morning I saw a red car pull up in front of me and two men jumped out and ran into Woolworths. I didn't really pay any attention until I heard screams coming from inside the shop. When I got closer I saw one man holding a gun while the other emptied the cash register. I couldn't see them very well, but one was fairly tall with brown hair and sunglasses and the other was shorter with very short blond hair. They were both wearing jeans and were about 22 years old, so they could have been students. There was another man in the car who had been waiting with the engine running, but I couldn't see what he looked like. I

Leicester Square

Leicester Square is now home to some of London's largest cinemas and is the venue for many premiers. There is a lovely garden in Leicester Square, where people can relax after a hard day's work in the city. In the middle of the garden is a beautiful statue of William Shakespeare. In 1981 a lifesize statue of Charlie Chaplin was added. You can buy halfprice theatre tickets at the building with a sign 'tkts'. 'tkts' is London's most famous and popular theatre ticket shop. Based in the Clocktower Building in Leicester Square, tkts is an essential part of a visit to London. Make sure you join the right queue as tickets for afternoon and evening shows are sold from different windows. Near the square you can also find the beautiful entrance to London's Chinatown.
