For and Against Advanced Technology

It truly is the engine of trade - advertising on the Internet is as effective as external advertising and sometimes even surpasses it. The possibility of earning online. To date, there is a lot of debate about that, whether real earnings on the Internet. The ability to chat with friends and colleagues via social networks. Today the most popular social networks are MySpace, Facebook, Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki, Agged, Twitter. On the Internet you can find a lot of different clubs, chat, send text messages to friends. Social networks are for socializing, viewing photos, videos, listening music, creating interest groups and games. Considering everything, I think every person should think about the necessity of their time online or playing games - whether it is for the benefit of a person, or on the contrary, leads to delay its development. Maybe, you should not give the computer, but the fact that spending time on it to better control - it is unique.

The Life of Indigenous Australian Children.

If any of the girls wet the bed, she would get her nose rubbed in the wet sheet and then receive a beating. The food they ate was so bad that sometimes the meat was infested with maggots. They were not supplied with shoes; in order to keep their feet warm; children would jump into the cow dung. In Kinchela Boys' Home, which was based in New South Wales, the boys often suffered sexual and physical abuse. Often the white people would send Aboriginal women out into the white community, and if they came back pregnant, the rule was to keep each woman for two years and then take the child away; sometimes mother and child would never see each other again. The white society thought it would be in the best interest of the child to remove her from the corrupting influence of her Aboriginal family. There were no rules or regulations for the treatment of the Aboriginal children who were sent to work

He goes to Stjärnsbergwith great hope and at first, its seems that he could do really well. But after a while he understand, that the school is probably the worst place where to be, when you want a peaceful life. Artikkli kokkuvõte

Partens should look their bodylanguage to. If you are cheerful then they can recive te message better than the parent is angry. It is better when you are at the same level, when you talk with child. It's bad when you are over the kid, then she/he might not undrestand you or there can be some problems. Children need some attention to, if not then kids will be low-spirited. Younger kids need smaal kisses and some hugs or something that. Everytime when you send your child to school and say something good wend they leave , they will remeber whole day. Sometimes parents forget to say good but wrongness is human. When you say something then you should say clearly and loud, otherwise they miss out on information. Talking with your child , its good when you use his/her name or nickname. Using name is better , because only then they get their attetion , they will know the message is for them. One example:

Formal letter

After 5 minutes she returned and gave me the dish, this time without jalapeno and left. After I had eated for a while I suddenly noticed something black and big, it was hair. I was just stunned and stopped eating immediately. But still I did not panic, I waited until my partner had finished his food and then I went to receive the bill. In the end when the waitress brought us the bill and asked us if we had a pleasant stay, I asked her to send greetings to the mainchef, because there was a nice black hair in my dish. She said she was sorry, but it seemed like she did not mean it at all. Clearly, it seems that your enterprise has some serious issues with staff and to resolve the problem I would appreciate that you would fire the incompetent waitress (Mary Smith) or atleast give her a harsh warning or knowledge of what she has done. And also I would

Logical argument

8.2 Questions based on conditions with sentence adverbials " then" and "so" We punish murderers and rapists on Earth, so why shouldn't the same people rot in hell? but if you want to go to a nicer locality, you can spend all day getting there. Then how do you go about making your own arrangements? Other people are part of the environment and they have a right to react to wrong-doing to protect society. Then why shouldn't God send evil people to hell? That's why I'm advocating self-sufficiency as a goal. Then can you tell me what's wrong with helping one another out? 8.3 Deduced questions and conclusions with sentence adverbials "In that case" and "so" Scientists... often observe links between certain phenomena. In that case, would you describe astrology as a Science? ... the whole point of marriage is to live together and possibly raise a family.

Billy Elliot

money. It is the chance at a dream come true but, if Billy would succeeded, sooner or later he will need the support of his family especially his father. At first Billy's father completely refuses to consider his son's desires of going into ballet but he starts to realize that this might be an opportunity that Billy has in order to escape the danger and grinding tedium of a miner's life, so he sets out to earn the money by any means necessary to send his son to London. When Billy and his dad get home, they hear that the coal strike is settled and the miners are going back to work. Eventually Billy gets a letter from the school telling him he's been accepted. The entire town is proud of him. The film ends with the father and brother sitting in a concert hall. Next to them is Billy's gay friend. They are all waiting for Billy's performance. And it starts. In my opinion, Billy Elliot is a really touching movie

Young hacker Jonathan Joseph James paber

On May 18, 2008, James was found dead in his shower with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head because Secret Service agents accused him of being part of the conspiracy responsible for the largest identity theft in U.S. history. In a five page suicide note, James wrote that he was innocent, but was certain federal officials would make him a scapegoat. "I have no faith in the `justice' system," he wrote. "Perhaps my actions today, and this letter, will send a stronger message to the public. Either way, I have lost control over this situation, and this is my only way to regain control." In conclusion I'd like to say James was a young hacker who was very smart as he hacked into many systems including DTRA and NASA. But for his sad end he took his life in belief that justice' system did not believe his innocence.

Writing in the Business World

Although previously the work done by Autocheck on company vehicles has been quite satisfactory, there have recently been several indications of a deterioration. To give one example, on two occasions trucks have broken down within three days of receiving a full service. Moreover, two trucks were recently unavailable for use for five days because Autocheck failed to send out a mechanic when we contacted them. This happened despite the fact that their contract states that they will arrive within twentyfour hours of a call. When this deterioration in service became apparent, MCC mechanics made several inspections of their own, and have confirmed that these are not isolated instances but indications of generally unsatisfactory work. Frequent complaints have been made to the Autocheck Manager and he has had

Democracy in the US

The peace treaty was signed in 1783. During the war, the states had agreed to work together by sending representatives to a national congress. The agreement that set up this plan of cooperation was called the Articles of Confederation. The Articles of Confederation failed because the states did not cooperate with the Congress or with each other. The Congress had been given no authority to force any state to do anything. The Congress then asked each state to send delegates to a convention in Philadelphia to discuss the changes to strengthen the Articles of Confederation. The meeting, later known as the Constitutional Convention, began in May 1787. George Washington, the military hero of the War of Independence, was the presiding officer.

Canada

The Canadian Rockies are higher than the Rockies in the United States. British Columbia has a climate much like the climate of southern England. The capital is the charming city of Victoria on Vancouver Island. More than three-fourths of all the manufacturing that goes on in Canada is carried on in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario, much of it in the cities of Montreal and Toronto. Montreal is Canada's biggest city. Toronto is next in size. It is easy to Canada to send its products abroad. Novas Scotia stretches far out into the Atlantic. Ocean-going ships travel up the St. Lawrence River to Montreal. The St. Lawrence Seaway makes Toronto and other cities on the Great Lakes into inland seaports. The maple leave is the Canada's symbol. It is on the flag and in 1974-1976 it was situated on the coins.

Means of communication

Maturitní otázka c. 23. Means of communication Introduction A few centuries ago people knew only a few kinds of communication. They could speak to each other, they could send their message from one place to another by smoke signals, they used mail. Later on, they also had some newspapers. The first expansion of media was when the radio and television were invented. The second and the biggest boom started in 1960s when the first communication satellite was launched into orbit. There are 4 main media: Newspapers, TV, Radio and the Internet. Today's people take this as an ordinary thing and we don't realise that we nearly can't live without it.

Chat rooms

It's as dangerous as having a conversation in a bar with strangers. Well, more dangerous because you can't see who you're talking to. As long as you never give out personal information (your full name, your address, or any other identifiable information), then you should have little to worry about. Also, never download a file sent to you by someone you met in a chatroom. Even a picture. Have them post it on Flickr or another trusted picture site. Finally, don't follow any links they send you. These could lead to a site infected with an exploit that will allow them to break into your computer. Even if you don't "download" anything from the site. If you are smart about it, there's nothing wrong with hanging out in a chat room. But be careful.

An adult male, which was found in 1985 near Siegsdorf (Germany), had a shoulder height of around 1.2 m and a length of 2.1 m without a tail, which is about the same size as a very big modern lion. It apparently went extinct about 10,000 years ago, during the Würm glaciation, though there are some indications it may have existed as recently as 2,000 years ago, in the Balkans. *FAQ: How to prevent?? Send donations to funds and foundations devoted to the protection of animals from mass extinction. Join the effort to stop animal extinction by volunteering with a local wildlife foundation. address to the home network's router. When Computer X logs on the Internet, the router assigns the client a port number, which is appended to the internal IP address. This, in effect, gives Computer X a unique address. If Computer Z logs on the Internet at the same time, the router assigns it the same local IP address with a different port number. Although both computers are sharing the same public IP address and accessing the Internet at the same time, the router knows exactly which computer to send specific packets to because each computer has a unique internal address. How does virtual communication influence our behaviour and relationships

communication can do to us and believe me you don't want to try it. While having some negative sides, virtual communication is generally still a very good thing because thanks to this advanced technology people from countries around the globe can communicate quickly and easily every day. And not only ordinary people use it; virtual communication has also spawned a whole new field of diplomacy and politics. In fact, it is so convenient that most people don't even bug to send classical, physical letters anymore, which in not too bad in my opinion. Virtual communication has changed the world. The question is: has it changed it better or worse. In my opinion better. But more importantly, how has virtual communication influenced our behaviour and relationships? Frighteningly, it has influenced these aspects in a negative way. Using virtual communication can lead us to desolation and loneliness, but not when used responsibly.

calculated in km2 per person, not people per km2. Australians have 380,000 m2 per person available. Yet well over 90% are cramming into our coastal cities. We call Australian's from Queensland "banana benders", and people from Western Australia "sandgropers". Fun Facts About Australian Geography Tasmania has the cleanest air in the world. The Great Barrier Reef has a mailbox. You can ferry out there and send a postcard, stamped with the only Great Barrier Reef stamp. The Australian Alps, or Snowy Mountains as they are also known, receive more snow than Switzerland. Melbourne has the second largest Greek population in the world, after Athens. Historical Highlights The Native Australians, or Aborigines, have lived in Australia for at least 40,000 years. There may have been between a half million to a full million Aborigines

Class and social status in Pride and Prejudice

and class between the ones who tie the knot in the 19th century. Obviously marriage was not the only point that was affected by the class divisions. A conversation carried out by the representative of a great titled family and the members of mediocre class illustrates the differences between them in even the smallest aspects of the everyday life. "When my niece Georgiana went to Ramsgate last summer, I made a point of her having two men servants go with her. You must send John with the young ladies, Mrs. Collins." This statement from an aristocrat, Lady Catherine, to the girls of rather inferior descent, comes to show that if one Miss from a noble family required two servants whilst travelling, then two women of mediocre class were expected to have only one. Perhaps Lady Catherine is one of the characters in the book through whom the reader gets the greatest gist of how important class was in everyday life of the 19 th century people. During a conversation

· The bascules are raised around 1000 times a year. River traffic is now much reduced, but it still takes priority over road traffic. · In order to maintain the integrity of the historic structure, the City of London Corporation have imposed a 20 miles per hour (32 km/h) speed restriction, and an 18 tonne weight limit on vehicles using the bridge. A sophisticated camera system measures the speed of traffic crossing the bridge, utilising a number plate recognition system to send fixed penalty charges to speeding drivers. Questions?

Heli lainepikkuse ja kiiruse määramine ōhus.

saadakse vastavalt võnkumiste teooriale kiire trajektoori võrrandiks ellipsi võrrand. Kui aga kahe risti oleva siinuse kujulise signaali liitmine toimub punktis, kus siinus läbib nulli, siis saame kiire trajektoori võrrandiks sirgjoone võrrandi ja näeme ostsilloskoobi ekraanil sirg- joont mingi kaldega. Siit tuleb ka meie poolt kasutatav meetod lainepikkuse määramiseks. The Polar Boy

At night they break into a museum, but Mattias does not understad, that Hanna’s acts are just symptoms of the bipolarity. One day he becames jealous of her and commits a crime that could put him into jail for jears. His only escape is to start faking the bipolarity. He gets into a psychiatric hospital, where he spends most horrible days of his live taking medicines that he actually does not need. The deadline was coming closer and he has to send his documents to the Art Academy, but he can not not leave the hospital. Hannah does it for him. I liked the film, because it had emotionaaly really stong influece and the viewer was always kept in suspense. What I liked most of all was the actors’ performances. Jaanika Arum is a skilled actress, her role in this movie was probably the most difficult one, and she did her best, playing with her emotions so skillfully that I often got the impression that I was watching a real person

offices. The Japanese have a custom of sending New Year's Day postcards (, nengaj?) to their friends and relatives, similar to the Western custom of sending Christmas cards. Their original purpose was to give your faraway friends and relatives tidings of yourself and your immediate family. In other words, this custom existed for people to tell others whom they did not often meet that they were alive and well. Japanese people send these postcards so that they arrive on the 1st of January. The post office guarantees to deliver the greeting postcards by the first of January if they are posted within a time limit, from mid-December to near the end of the month and are marked with the word nengajo. To deliver these cards on time, the post office usually hires students part-time to help deliver the letters. It is customary not to send these postcards when one has had a death in the family during the year

column of evacuating troops. The men pick up two engineering sergeants and two frightened young girls on their way. Henry and his drivers then decide to leave the column and take secondary roads, which they assume will be faster. When one of their vehicles bogs down in the mud, Henry orders the two engineers to help in the effort to free the vehicle. When they refuse, he shoots one of them. The drivers continue in the other trucks until they get stuck again. They send off the young girls and continue on foot toward Udine. As they march, one of the drivers is shot dead by the easily frightened rear guard of the Italian army. Another driver marches off to surrender himself, while Henry and the remaining driver seek refuge at a farmhouse. When they rejoin the retreat the following day, chaos has broken out: soldiers, angered by the Italian defeat, pull commanding officers from the melee and execute them on sight. The battle police seize Henry, who, at

Illegal Immigration in America - essee

These gangs are involved with drug-distribution systems, murders and robberies. Another issue caused by illegal aliens is the cost for taxpayers. It has been estimated that the average immigrant without a high-school degree will cost the U.S taxpayer about $100,000. A major reason for all of these problems is that 60 percent of illegal immigrants haven’t finished high school. What can be done to fix the problem? It wouldn’t seem reasonable to just send every immigrant back to their home country. A better solution would be to punish companies who take advantage of the cheap labor provided by illegal immigrants and stop them from paying the immigrants under the table. This would mean that if a person wanted to find work, he or she would have to be documented. Of course there are other ways to try and fix this issue but I think this one would work the best. The issue of illegal immigration is not only familiar to the U.S; it is also becoming a
