Why people go to school?

Why people go to school? In one's opinion is this question easy to answer. Who goes there to learn who goes to make fun ( to amuse ) and who goes there forcibly at all. Another can not answer it. I think that there is more than one answer to this question.. For example, I go to school to learn. Learning is the basis of life and even wise people have said that human being learns the whole life.. but he still dies as fool." I'm not going only to learn at school ... At any time you should learn something new and interesting. The school and education plays a major role in our lives, because the more you will learn and the more you achieve, the more choices are available. School shouldn't be a place where someone has bad to be. In my mind there have to be sufficient funny and interesting at school, and there's to be something that distract the students. Anyone's motivation shouldn't disappear ( being motivated ). If there

The school year should last from 1st September to 22 June

The school year should last from 1st September to 22 June There is no doubt that the school has a big role in our lives. It teatches us how to cope with our life. But what are the pros and cons, if the school would last longer? Firstly, if the government wants to shorten our summer break, then we would not have enough time to rest or visit our relatives. And when the school starts again in the autumn, then many of us would have no motivation to learn. And because of that, our grades starts to deteriorate. Sometimes the school may be very stressful too and then the summer holiday is very good time to rest and deal with other things. Especially when you do not live at home, during the school and then the summer is the only time you can enjoy being home. But if the summer break is so little,

School should provide computers for students to use for all their school subjects

School should provide computers for students to use for all their school subjects Nowadays we are moving into a IT era. This is an inevitable because everything is becoming computerized. Students use computers to make homework. I strongly believe that schools should have computers but there is no need for all the subjects. Firstly, sitting a long time in front of the computer screen is unhealthy. Students' eyes will be dry and they may have headache. It can also have a negative effect on students' moods. In addition, computer labs' maintenance is expensive

Pros & Cons of a School Uniform

Essay ,,Pros & Cons of a School Uniform" A school uniform is important for every student to become an adult. In different schools the rules for uniforms are different. Some schools have a school uniform and some do not. However, every school uniform has both advantages and disadvantages. One advantage is that school uniform helps to maintain discipline. Also it is a symbol of a school. School uniform makes life cheaper and easier you do not have to waste time in the morning thinking of what to wear. Also you do not have to buy a whole new wardrobe for every school semester and I think that a school uniform prepares you for adulthood because often many important jobs have a dress code, which you have to follow. However, for every plus there is a minus. Although many students might like a school

students who gave an opinion about the Estonian educational system. Corporal punishment is illegal in British and Estonian schools. 62% of British childrens think that it would be needful but only 31% Estonian childrens have the same opinion. Actually it could be not banned, because if they used controlled corporal punishment it is not likely to be harmful. I would argue that there were actually fewer discipline problems back in the old days when corporal punishment was more common. Most school in England require children to wear school uniform. Estonian children no longer wear uniforms but few decades ago they wore uniforms. 74% British students and 39% Estonian students believes that school uniforms should be compulsory for all students at all grade levels. I don`t think they should wear school uniforms because it deprises kinds and teens of expressing themselves by what they wear. Kids should have the sight to wear what they want to. Everything

How I take attending school seriously

How I take attending school seriously School is a place where every child has to go. It is so because that is the starting point of our education. Without it you would be sust another person in this world because you woun ´t have anything to do especially nowadays. Knowledge is everything. So if we woun´t go to school there is no way to get a step further. I am going to write why I take attending school seriously. First of all I think that when we woun´t go to school for a long periood, it is almost certain that we would be in trouble. If you have been absent for a couple of weeks then it will be very difficult to get all tests and homework done. Firstly you may not know anything about the things that are asked from you. Secondly, some people are sust too lazy to do the tests and because of that students will have very bad marks. If they are unlucky they also must go to school in summer because they have too many things undone

Pros and Cons of School Uniform

Pros and Cons of School Uniform At several schools worldwide, students are required to wear school uniforms. In some schools, uniforms are not required as this is part of the decision of the school or the parents. On the other hand, wearing school uniform does have its pros and cons. First of all, wearing school uniform suppresses students’ way to express themselves. Uniforms prevent them from wearing the clothes they want to wear. Children are often much more artistic than many adults, especially in high school, teenagers experience an increased need to be unique and special. The clothes are one of the most important things of self-expression, and school uniforms do not allow students to demonstrate their individuality. On the other hand, school uniforms make students feel equal

What is wrong with current school education?

know it. Education system shuld find a way to show the fun in learning so children would grow up to be curious people, who are interested in new things and evolving. Practical learning could be a solution for this problem. In addition, schools should should perpare children for actual life. Maybe learning history for a grade A is not so important all the time. Education should put more focus on learning things and problems that students are going have to face when they leave school. In conclusion, there is no perfect solution, but there are some areas that school education system could improve. But that of course takes a lot of time and effort, nothing can change overnight.

Do young people today learn enough at school to face the world tomorrow

Do young people today learn enough at school to face the world tomorrow? People name school the school of life. But may they affirm that? On the one hand, school period is time of growing up and forming of a human`s personality. A child gets know how to get on with people, how to communicate and makes his or her mind up about many questions with help of classmates and teachers. On the other hand, it depends on school. Tutors of some schools focus only on education. They don`t care of the discipline and pupils` behaviour at all. Probably such school-leavers have only several opportunities for the future to become criminals, join local gangs or to control themselves and to do their best in studies. Such schools may be really named the schools of life because children studying there are forced to grow up earlier than others.

Schools kill creativity

except the beginning and the end, so she improvised everything in between. I was really proud of her, cause at first I thought she’s gonna freek out and run away. But she didn’t. Kids, they’re fierce. If they don’t remember anything, they’ll make it up. They’re more afraid to just stand and watch the silent crowd than to be wrong. Ken says that kids are not afrayd to be wrong. But by the time they start going to school, they are taught to be scared of being wrong. In school, the most important subjects - math, languages and humanities – are those where you don’t have enough space to be wrong in. But subjects, where you could make your wrong decisions to work for you, are in the bottom and most of the teachers, don’t care about them that much. Subjects like art, singing, dancing and so on. There’s still one thing that I don’t agree with Ken. He says that there’s no school, where kid could study arts as much as math

Is there a way to not overuse technics? Now the question is: "Should schools provide computers for students to use for all their school subjects?" I strongly believe that schools should have modern computers but there is no need in using them for all the subjects. The good and bad points of working and going to school.

The good and bad points of working and going to school at the same time Everyone has the right to the higher education, but for some people it`s more difficult than to the others. To leave your parents` home for the first time brings a lot of unexpected outgoings. Students have a issues with the payment of rent and utility bills and they need to go to the work and attend college at the same time. Working and going to school at the same time has good and bad points. The good points of it are certainly the new and intrestings experiences. Students get used to the pressure and studying to handle the stress. The bad points of it are that some people can`t handle the pressure. Students have no time to study and forgot that the first priority have to be studying. I strongly belive that stundying and working at the same time isn`t that bad. But before is needed to finish the school. It is not enough, because be some time before that to live together. Must also find a good and rewarding job, because weddings arevery expensive at this time. But if two peoples want to get married then money is not an obstacle. Computers in every classroom

Computers in every classroom Nowadays computers are becoming more and more unavoidable. We read newspapers from internet, make bank transfers, work and study with them as well. Although computers are making our lifes easier I do not support placing computers to classrooms. Firstly, when students sit in front of the computers from lesson to lesson then their scholastic proficiency will degenerate because they will surf on the internet, chat on MSN and so on. It is doubtless that computers in classroom scatter students attention. Furthermore, computers damage students health. The rays what computer screen vomit are very harmful, so staring at computer screen too much will cause intense damages to people eyes. So from that viewpoint it is absurd to put computers to every classroom. On the other hand, computers in every classroom would make students life easier. They could take notes by computer and a...

The article is about Scottish government who has failed to achieve it's goal of extending free school meals to all children in the first three years of education. This healthy meal serving is now extended because of the tight public finances caused by the economic slump. There's mentioned that at the moment government can only offer a healthy lunch for 20% of the pupils in Scotland. 3. This topic is interesting because now I can compare my school lunch with Scottish meals. Here we have it for free until the end of the primary school. It's also interesting to read

United States and Estonian education systems Essee inka.

Essay United States and Estonian education systems USA and Estonian school systems are very similar. But still there are some differences. How children attend school and when? How chlidren are divided by age in USA and Estonia? The American school year traditionally begins in August or September, after the traditional summer recess, which is three months long. As well in Estonia. School year usually ends in may or june. First difference between Estonian school system and USA's is that children attend school at the age of 5-6, but in Estonia children go to school at the age of 7-8. Before going to school american children attend preschool (selectively). Years 5-6 american children attend kindergarden, which is a preparation for the first grade. Most children enter the public education system around ages five or six.
