classes with subjects, which students would actually find interesting. I would find it exciting to let them think and explore more about politics, social issues, world news and of course other subjects that they really find interesting to speak about. I believe these subjects need also considering because the majority of youth actually has no idea or interest who represents them or how politics work for that matter. I find having a dialogue with students is a good opportunity for creating good relationships between the two parties in question. Secondly, I find it necessary to make sure that understood the system. If I were an English teacher I certainly would not be an epicene, sterile and clinical ,,toad". On contrary, I would make the best out of me to forbid all final exams and tests because I find final exams and sending students to olympiads rather pointless and waste of time because all in all they chase only the facts. Ability to think has fallen back substantially

Review: Educating Rita

Review: Educating Rita Educating Rita is one William Russell's best-known work. In 1980 it came out as a play, but in 1983 the play was adapted for film. This comedy has two main characters: the hairdresser Susan, who calls herself Rita and is played by Julie Walters and divorced constantly drunk Dr. Frank Bryant, who is played by Michael Caine. Educating Rita deals with relationships and changes. It also speaks about how different people find different things important. The film begins with Rita's arrival to the university, where she wants to discover herself and get educated before having children. There she also meets first time with her tutor Frank. Since the first time they meet, Rita knows that she wants Frank to be her tutor. Frank, however, finds that Rita is rare and unique. That is also the reason, why Frank did not want to

Childhood

My Children Deserve the Best Childhood Ever Hi! I am 35 years old. I live with my husband and we have two kids: Oliver and Merilin. Oliver is 10 years old and Merilin is 7 years old. Before getting these two kids, me and my husband used to live in a flat in the centre of the city. But when I get pregnant for the first time, we decided to move in a house in Nõmme. It's a beautiful place to live. My favourite, because I lived there when I was younger. It's also nice that we have a big backyard where our children can play and just spend time. Me and my husband can also spend good time there. We usually grill there or have parties with our friends. When Oliver and Merilin were young, about 2 years old, I never scream when they did something wrong because they're only children, they don't know anything about life and doing something right or wrong yet. When they grew up, went to school and sometimes got bad...

After a fun night together exploring the city Dylan agrees to take the job. The next day Jamie presents Dylan with the contract to sign so she can land her commission for recruiting him. One night, while hanging out at Jamie's apartment watching a romantic comedy, they get on the topic of sex and relationships. They come to the conclusion that sex should not come with so many emotional attachments. As they both feel the need for a physical connection, they agree to have sex without emotion or commitment. After several trysts together Jamie comes to the realization that this isn't really what she wants and she would like to start dating again. She informs Dylan that they need to stop. There's also an unexpected ending. It's my favourite movie at the moment. First time I

DOES MONEY BUY EVERYTHING?

than you have, but in fact the reality might be the other way round. The most valuable thing in world is time, but to be rich, you have to work a lot, but if you work over hours then you do not have that much time to live a life. So in the end, are you in seventh heaven like this? I do not think so. In conclusion, money is an important component of happiness, but money alone won't suffice in bringing you the highest level of happiness possible. You also need to have good, solid relationships with your friends and family to maximize your level of happiness.

Famine esitlus

Famine and Poverty In the developing world, more than 1.4 billion people currently live below the international poverty line, earning less than $1.25 per day. Among this group of poor people, many have problems obtaining adequate, nutritious food for themselves and their families. As a result, 820 million people in the developing world are undernourished. They consume less than the minimum amount of calories essential for sound health and growth. Socially, the lack of food erodes relationships and feeds shame so that those most in need of support are often least able to call on it. What causes hunger? Crops don't grow if there is no rain and families can't feed themselves. People who are poor can't buy food when their crops fail. They have nothing to fall back on. Conflict is another major cause of hunger. Wars destroy farms and fields. Farmers may be killed. People have to leave their homes and farms and live somewhere else. Less food is produced in times of war.

very much like her, but the reality of her life keeps putting Meena back in her place, a place she desperately seeks a way out of. As the book progresses, Meena seems to fit in quite well with the other children and the family are certainly accepted, admired even, by the community. This all begins to fall apart though as ignorance and racism clash as Meena encounters first hand how hurtful racism and ignorance can be and she struggles to understand the relationships between people and their ideas. For instance, Anita starts to go out with Sam after her mother left the family. The boy is the head of the motocycle gang and despises coloured people. There had been even rumours about him and the boys that they beat an Indian guy to death. Not only did she have to struggle with the problems with racism, but also with the idea of having a baby brother. This all was too much for her. Fortunatelly, Meena's grandmother came to pay a little visit to them from India

Gay rights

homosexuality is not considered a crime, persecutions have multiplied. In Brazil, for example, death squads and skin heads spread terror: 1,960 homophobic murders have been officially reported between 1980 and 2000. In these conditions, it is difficult to think that "tolerance" is gaining ground. On the contrary, in the majority of these nations, homophobia appears more violent today than ever before. The tendency is not, therefore, towards a general improvement, far from it. Family and Relationships · Adoption: 19 states allow gay and lesbian couples to adopt children in a complex and expensive twostep process, in which one parent first adopts and then the second can petition for joint rights. · Ceremonial Marriages: Same Sex Marriages may be officiated by church officials, or anyone else, but ceremonial marriages in and of themselves involve no civil laws and carry no legal benefits or responsibilities.

Doing business in Australia Business Mentality *Australians are very straightforward when it comes to business, so they do not need to build relationships for a long time before doing business. They are receptive to new ideas. * They appreciate modesty, so try not to oversell your company and do not even think of applying aggressive sales techniques. Try to be factual, friendly and to the point, avoiding self-importance. *If you manage to impress them, they will not make it obvious. *The decision making will be slower than usually, as the work environment in Australian business culture is collaborative. lyric poetry. Lindgren had considerable public influence, however, she used it scarcely. Her constant concern with animal welfare was active in passing a new law in 1988 controlling factory farming, which put Sweden among the most developed countries on this issue. Lindgren’s humor and love for humanity was legendary. She represented the Swedish spirit for the rest of the world. She speaks out on behalf of living life against violence. Her books have put across loving relationships, liberation and fondness for nature. She passed away at the age of 94, after a very productive and artistic life. the National female chorus. ,,The Goblin" makes you think what is really inmportant in life and what makes people happy. The story teaches, that having more money than you need is unlikely to increase your level of happiness. In the ballet there were two types of people. To the first type belonged the Farmer, whose most important life goal was to get more money. It can't be said that he was happy, because the process of gaining money hindered his relationships with others. He had no positive emotions or feelings and even his daughter did not love him because of his greediness. The second type of people were the peasants. In spite of they poverty, they were caring and cheerful. They sang and danced a lot and enjoyed their life without huge amounts of money. They could take the Farmers' money, but they did not, because it was not earned fairly. Compering to the Farmer, the peasants had right life morals and principies.

was slowly killing him during Iron Man 2. Iron Man didn't seem to have any physical weaknesses at least when he was in his suit. Tony Stark repeatedly said that his technology was the most advanced in the world. Iron Man's weakness was his personality. Despite all the strengths and weaknesses, there is always something a person values in life. For Tony Stark it was definitely the people close to him. It often seemed like he was all about money and fame, and was never good at relationships, but he was true to his friends and acquaintances, in a way. In Iron Man Tony confessed to his personal assistant Pepper Potts that she was all he had. At the conclusion of the movie Iron Man 2, the stage was set for the beginning of Tony and Pepper's relationship. Stark was also frequently helped by his friend James Rhodes who seemed to be really close to him. Even though it was hard to see, Tony Stark really appreciated his friends.

Friendship Friends are a very important part of most people's lives. Research shows that having quality relationships increases your likelihood of being happy - so it's good for your happiness to be a great friend and to have a group of close friends surrounding you too. A good friend might be someone who's there to provide support when times are tough, or someone you can rely on to celebrate a special moment with you. Friends might come and go in our life, they might make us laugh and cry, but most importantly they love us for who we are. It doesn't matter what a person looks like or what

What is needed for good society

society.” “If some are idle while others work too much, we do not have a good society.” Accessibility to other desirable Items means that there is also other basics that could be desired by nearly everyone. These items are like: tasty food, comfortable housing (with furniture, running water, and electric lights), transportation, a clean and healthy environment, healthcare, meaningful work, regular exercise, rejuvenating leisure, fulfilling relationships, family, and a close-knit community. None of these things are not essential, but life without these is not that fun. A good society would enable for most people to have most of these luxuries and would allow everyone to have just like the least of these items (even like 1-3 would be enough). Most of the time desirable things are not indispensable, but most of the people who will read my masterpiece could not live without these things. E.F. Schumacher

How do we cultivate the courage, compassion, and connection that we need to embrace our imperfections and to recognize that we are enough— that we are worthy of love, belonging, and joy? This book is full of powerful topics such as self-compassion, acceptance, and gratitude. As a researcher, she observed human behavior so she can identify and name the subtle con...

George Sand

Amandine Aurore Lucile Dupin, later Baroness Dudevant (1 July 1804 8 June 1876), best known by her pseudonym George Sand, was a French novelist and feminist. Early life Sand's father was a distant relative of Louis XVI. Her mother was a commoner. Sand was born in Paris but raised by her grandmother at her estate, Nohant, in the French region of Berry. She later used the setting in many of her novels. In 1822, at age 19, she married Baron Casimir Dudevant. She and Dudevant had two children: Maurice and Solange. In early 1831 she left her prosaic husband. 4 years later she was legally separated from Dudevant and, taking the children with her, converted to a Jewish faith. Contemporary views Sand's reputation came into question when she began sporting men's clothing in public. In addition to being comfortable, Sand's male dress enabled her to circulate more freely in Paris than most of her female contemporaries could. It gave her increase...

Yours sincerely, Mari Mets ESSAY 2010 Stress in the Life of Young People Today Stress is a natural part of young people's lives. Negative stress can affect people's ability to be positive. I'd probably agree with the statement. To begin with, one of the main sources of stress for young people today can be relationships with parents. Everybody knows that fighting with parents can affect ours ability to be positive. Moreover, parents are the closest persons in our lives and fighting with them break us. For instance, I am always so depressed after arguing with my mother, I do not want to hurt her feelings. In my view, young people should avoid fighting with parents to cope with this source of stress. Secondly, school is another main source of stress and can affect people's ability to be positive.

Giving opinion

I doubt whether they could act as an effective deterrent while the detection rate is so low. I doubt that many other languages can match the size of the English dictionary. I doubt that this would ever happen. The BBC prides itself on its independence... I'd've thought they'd be very useful for children without brothers and sisters. I'd've thought that was obvious. They've lived through personal and family relationships. They're often experts on matters of health ranging from minor ailments to major operations. There now seems to be a general acceptance that Britain is a multi-racial society. 4.5 Expressing fair probability I guess that many single people have different priorities or else they believe that they'd make unsuitable parents. Truancy in school – individual responsibility

The effect that poor attendance at school can have on a child's education can be permanent and damaging but skipping should be child's own responsibility and it is not right to punish the parents for it. Students have many reasons why they are skipping school, mostly they do not like the teachers or the subjects that they are taught. They tend think that they won't need those subjects in their future life. Some children are just lazy and irresponsible. Also one serious reason is bullying. Bad relationships between the classmates make students to skip the classes. People, no matter how old they are should learn to take responsibility for their actions. However it does not refer to the small children who attend the primary school but they usually do not skip. The ones that do skip are mostly the students of the secondary and high school who are definitely old enough to take responsibility for their actions. If they think that they are already smart enough and do not need to study anymore

A Modern Answer to the Commune

say, "female nonsmoker wanted" as a business card is from a doctoral thesis. Consider the efforts of Ms. Berger, 28, and Ms. Hazard, 24, who advertised eloquently for roommates before even settling on a house: "Some of the things we like are: permaculture, living sustainably, gardening, dancing, hula hooping, yoga, herbalism, making music, active listening, non-violent communication ..." they wrote, in part. The idea, they said last week, was that the relationships would be more important than the real estate. What they hoped to put together was a kind of family, but without sibling rivalry or parents, of course; the thought was that everyone would do the dishes without grumbling. "It's hard to feel supported in a place like New York City, especially without a partner, or consistent person or group that you are able to connect with daily," said Ms. Berger, a musician and piano teacher who has been renting a room from another young woman in

· replacement of the case functions by a fixed word order and prepositions. · lexical · first borrowing of French loan-words; · increased emergence of Scandinavian loan-words. · graphological · disappearance of Old English writing conventions;1.2 · increased use of Latin and Anglo-Norman. In general, Old English might be called a synthetic language, which uses inflectional morphemes to express the syntactical relationships. Later on, the vowels in many of these words were shortened again, giving the appearance that no lengthening happened; but evidence from the Ormulum indicates otherwise. vt

In particular book Grace almost died and also the horse, a married women fell in love with the mysterious horse whisperer and in the end: one of the main characters dies. And Annie who has always thought that her job is the most important thing in the world does not care about it on one moment and quits. The book was also about relationships between mother and daughter, people and horses and of course between man and woman. The book is a great example that love can come on the most unexpected moment. Annie a big city girl would have ever guessed that she would fell in love with a farmer from Montana when she is thousands of miles away from New York. The strength of the book is certainly the surprising ending. I was absolutely sure that everyone is going to live happily ever after until the last page

Indigenous people in australia

the origin of the world. In the Dreaming, ancestral beings created features of the land, sea and sky, as well as humans, animals and plants. The Dreaming describes the actions and travels of these beings, some of whom were themselves transformed into features of the landscape, like the Three Sisters rock formation in the Blue Mountains. These beliefs have governed every aspect of Indigenous peoples' lives and relationships with the land. They are the subject of traditional stories, music and artwork across the continent. Art, culture and music Australian Indigenous art is one of the oldest continuous art traditions in the world. The earliest Indigenous art forms were paintings and engravings on boulders, rock shelters and cave walls, some of which date back 30 000 years. Modern Indigenous paintings are the most recent expression of this tradition, which is now acclaimed in Australia and internationally.
