Saint John´s church is about 140 years old. On the 1st of January it had its last praying and then the key of the church was handed over to the renovators. The second choice is to go to university after finishing secondary school. In Estonia, a lot of people are going to university. Then you can get an academic education. Positive sides are that people who go there are more intelligent and get broad horizons. They also get a lot of knowledge which makes more money in the future. People with higher education have better possibilities to get a profitable job. Negative sides are that young people often doesn't know their real vocation. They don't know who they want to be in the future. Then may happen that they spend time for years and are not satisfied with chosen profession. In the first place, in the past couple of years the number of violent children has increased by ten percent. That is due to badly influencing shows that are being shown on the television. Children are not understanding the boundary between reality and imagination. That is the real problem with the younger generation. You always have to make sure that they watch movies and shows that are suitable for their age group. Secondly, all people from all ages get influenced by the television if they watch a lot of horror and action movies. It is proved, that if you constantly watch violent movies, your personality starts to change and you may become violent yourself. Stephen Clarke writes in a way that people want to read: the style is close to every-day life speech and he really does understand how things are. In all the chapters there is a hidden message and some of the ideas are really useful for real life usage. I guess the whole message of this book is that one should always pursue its hopes and dreams and never give up. Since actually one has nothing to lose, but tons to win. Life is like a rollercoaster, with its ups and downs, but if there were not any downfalls then people would not notice the luck and happiness in their lives. Another novel of Charles Dickens is Oliver Twist, written in 1837-39. Oliver Twist is the first novel in the English language to centre throughout on a child protagoni and is also notable for Dickens's unromantic portrayal of criminals and their sordid lives.
I haven't seen as much plays of theatre NO99 as I would like, because it's very hard to get a ticket in there and they play one spectacle very few times. If I had the chance I would go there much often, but as I play also in my own school drama group it doesn't leave much free time for any other theatre activities. The best play I have seen there is " Stalker". It made me feel like I was a part of the play not just someone from audience. Also the impression of effects was very real. I'm planning to visit NO99 again in January 20. when they are having one of their test "actions", called "Theatregames". I don't know what to expect but I'm sure it will be stupendous.
