"Dangerous situation" lühijutt inglise keeles

Dangerous situation Few months ago I went to my friends place to watch some movies and talk about girl stuff. We had lots of fun and we were all prepared for sleep over. We had our sleeping bags, tooth brushes and everything we needed for sleep over. But suddenly I felt really bad pain in my head, I thought it would go over with few minutes but it lasted a while so I decided to go home, it was midnight and i called my parents, they were already sleeping and I didn't have money for taxi so I went on foot. I packed everything and started walking home. For some reason street lights didn't work and therefore I didn't see anything at all, it was really scary. I decided to call my brother, I told him to meet me halfway, he agreed. I started listening to my music because I thought this would make the fear go away. Out of nowhere somebody hit

Computers should be used while studying

Computers should be used while studying Nowadays more and more students use computers while studying. While I believe that students should use more computers while studying, their parents and also teachers do not. I strongly believe that computers are useful while studying if you use them as they should be used. Firstly, using computers can improve their computer skills, which can be used later. For example finding a job. Nowadays there lots and lots of jobs which require atleast basic knowledge about computers. Therefore, it is important for them to have computer skills atleast at basic level.

For and against being rich and famous

expire the life fully. A feeling inside when we know that a lot of people like you; that your fans adore you and if you are a famous persons you are a god to your fans. Firstly, celebrities have a lot of money, which they earn in a simple way. Also they don't have to worry about their future. They can do whatever they are pleased to. Travel wherever they want, live wherever, eat and buy whatever they want. Secondly, if you are young and your parents are rich you can start using the advantages of being rich already as a kid. For example you can go to a private school or even to a private kindergarten. On the other hand, their wealth and fame make their life stressful. Moreover, it makes people jealous and hateful. They also don't have privacy - press is looking at the famous people all the time. This is evident from all the famous people humiliated in public.

What i value most in a friend

We do a lot of thing together.Like..go shopping and study together. Also we like to watch comedy movies. And in summer we always go beach together to sunbathe and swim. She is very trusty, friendly and funny. Both of us enjoy dancing. We use to visit clubs very often and party there. We also have differences, like everybody does. Merit doesn't like hip-hop music, I absolutely love it. In some ways we are very different. We have different activitis and lifestyles. My friend lives with her parents at home, but I live with my boyfriend. Some of my friends party a lot, however I stay at home most of my time. Firstly a good friend is someone who is honest! Friends should never lie to each other and stick together. Secondly, its important that you can always trust your friend, no matter what. A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.

Charlie Chaplini elulugu

Charlie Chaplin Charlie Chaplin was born in London on 16th April, 1889. Both his parents were music hall entertainers and Charlie started appearing on the stage while still a child. His father, Charles Chaplin, deserted the family and eventually died of alcoholism. His mother, Hannah Chaplin, found it increasingly difficult to find work on the stage and in 1895 the family entered the Lambeth Workhouse. When he was sixteen Chaplin won the part of Billy in a West End production of Sherlock Holmes. He later joined Fred Karno's music hall revue. While touring

people because they have money and luxorios things. Poor people seem to have reliable friends, they have support of their friends and do not have to think about money all the time. Eventhough rich people can be happy too, but not without love and caring. This is very important to have a friend, who always listens what I want to say and helps to find a wayout to my problems. In my point of view, life is pointless without good friends, nice parents and girlfriend. Happiness is love and if people do not love or they are unhappy, miserable and make others feel bad, whether they want it or not. So for conclusion: love is the key to hapiness and enjoyable life!

Should schools permit computers for their students?

Many students and their parents are in the position that every school should permit computers for their students. Is this a good idea if every student at school has their own computer what they can use in lesson? In my opinion having computers in our English class is very good idea. There is a lot of reasons why. Firstly, our textbooks and worksbooks are compiled that method that there are some excercises which we will have to check from internet like all kind of searching tasks what expect us to use Internet. It also simplify teacher work, teacher does not have to waste her time preparing the lessons.Because they can check out the difficult words quickly from internet. On the other hand, sitting in the computers every day is not good for our health, staring at a computer screen for several hours is enough to tire the eye muscles and it also causes stress and fatigue. Spending too much time in computer will lose students communication s...

THE NEW “BAMBO” PUSHCHAIR

THE NEW "BAMBO" PUSHCHAIR Introduction. The aim of this report is to find out how good the new pushchair is. It is based on the results of interviews with 150 mothers and fathers all over the country (from London, Bristol, Birmingham, Gloucester, Glasgow and Leeds) using "Bambo". Observations. It was found that the majority of the people who had been interviewed thought that the chair is fantastic. In the words of Mrs Roberta for example it is light and manageable, definitely better than her old pushchairs. Its good points are also that it is easy to steer, it has an attractive design and it fits in the boot of the car. A minority of people found mistakes from "Bambo". One complaint for example was that the wheel locking mechanism is too small to operate by foot. Recommendations. Money makes the world go round

Money makes the world go round Karl Johan Lips Money! the thing we all are working for. For few of us it has came easily by lottery, simple inventions or just having studied and listened to good advise by smart business owners, teachers and parents. Others however have had to struggle to get money because of simple reasons like not having studied in school or college, being lazy, or not doing the job correctly. Its clear that money is as important that living without it is almost impossible. But exactly how important and what is less or more important then money is left for every individual himself to decide. People use their money differently, for example their are celebrities who

An event in my childhood

At some point he decided to go let the dog out. The poles that were holding the fence up were holo inside and the bees thought that it was a great place to make a hive in. I can’t remeber why, but my brother for some reason leaned over the fence pole and looked into it. That’s when my brother got stung near to his eyes. He immediately yelled at me that he can’t see and wanted my help, there was nobody else outside at that moment. So I ran to him and helped him to the house. Where our parents took him over and called the ambulance. In my mind I saved his life because I was the only one who could have helped him to the house, that’s because we were the only ones outside. I’m really proud of what I did and without him my life would not have been the same.

I hope that you will receive this letter soon and will respond quickly. My parents also say hello and want to know how life is in London and how you are doing there. Lots of love Ulla

About myself

There are many things in our life I like and some I dislike. I like when everything is OK. Being happy is one way of being wise. I like to study because knowledge is useful sometimes. I'm fond of reading as it gives not only knowledge, but wonderful moments of joy and pleasure. I am neither short nor tall, so I like to wear highheeled shoes, trousers or jeans. I was born on the 25th of April 1985 in the town of Molodechno where I live now together with my parents and my younger sister (older brother). My early years which I remember badly, were typical of a child living in a town. I was born in a family of a teacher and a doctor. I was sent to a kindergarten at the age of three as both the parents were working. As all the children of Belarus I went to school at the age of six. Here I should say that it was my lucky chance to study for 11 years at the school of fine arts in the town of Molodechno . it turned out to be the best school in our town

suggests: "Ask your child indirectly how he or she is spending lunch hour; or what it's like walking to school, walking home or taking the school bus. Ask if there are any children at school who are bullies, without personalizing it. And when you meet with teachers, ask how they deal with conflict when it occurs. If you are certain your child is being bullied, let the school know that you take it seriously, and ask what can be done to help." Some parents find it embarrassing to learn that their child is being bullied. But a few simple rules make it a lot easier to deal with: · Be a good listener. Stay calm, and give your child plenty of time to tell you how he or she feels. Make it clear it's not your child's fault. Above all, don't suggest your child simply fight back. That may increase your child's chances of further victimization. Some children are nonaggressive by nature, and you can't change that. · Don't overreact

community. 2. What is the family's nightly ritual? It is a required ritual in which all family members have to tell how they were feeling that day. 3. Why had Lily been angry? Lily goes first by explaining the anger that she felt today when someone from a visiting group of Sevens, or seven-year-olds, did not obey the rules about waiting in line. She compares the boy to an animal, but she is not exactly sure what an animal is, and she recalls that she made a fist at him. 4. How do the parents explain the new boy's behavior? Lily's parents remind her of a past experience when she was a Six and had felt out of place while visiting a different community of Sixes, and Lily decides that she now feels sorry for the Seven, who must have felt like a stranger, rather than angry at him. Lily's father got her to stop being "angry" at the little boy on the playground by talking to her, and reasoning with her. He asked her how she would have felt if she was in a new, strange place. He suggested

That is why he didn't go to school when the other children did, so his parents had to teach him. He liked mathematics and was fond of making things, so his father gave him some tools. James liked to take his toys to pieces and build new things to his own design. At the age of eighteen he decided to become a professional instrument maker. It was very hard to find a teacher. But finally he found an instrument maker in London who took him on as an apprentice. After a year he returned to Scotland and became a mathematical instrument maker. He also made musical

Reasons of and solutions to truancy

Reasons of and solutions to truancy Truancy is bad. It is bad for the Students(and their future), the Parents, the school and the community. Truancy has become a growing problem. There are many reasons why students play truant from school. Firstly, the biggest reason why students do not go to school is probably that they just do not like school. They do not care about going there. School is just a chore for them and they do not see the point in it. If school were made a little more interesting, then maybe there would be a little less truancy.

Children while young

So, I think that the best age for having children is befor 40´s on men and before 30´s for woman. It is well known that woman over 35 is a risky group for having children. These reasons are medical but there are also oher reasons why people should have children while being young. The most imortant reason is that our age deifference would not be so big. It would help to understand the other generation better and have better ralations in family. Of course there are very youthful parents despite of their high age but still let´s think about this way that we could see our children growing, having education, getting married and so on. We could miss it all not having children while being young.

Advantages and disadvantages of advertising

Also, advertisements about non-commercial issues like AIDS can help in educating people and notifying possible problem. Finally, one big advantage is providing employment. Not only advertising itself needs many workers, but companies who are increasing their sales volume of goods mostly expand themselves and that may give job to thousands of people. Unfortunately there are some dark sides of advertising. Firstly, it uses children to increase its income and impressionable kids will make their parents life as hard as possible to get what they want, even if it is not necessary or healthy. Secondly, it encourages monopoly because big companies can afford advertising their products more so other products will stay in shadow. And finally, advertising is very expensive and the money that is spend on advertisements could have been used for charities for example. As we can see now, advertising does not have only the good side, but also the dark one. Still,

School Uniform

But it's not true - the bullys and other evil student will always find another reason to make somebody feel bad - like glasses, pimples or overweight. Second reason that schools have school uniforms is because of the gangs. They believe, when all of the children wear the same clothes, they will not have any gangs. But students communicate with each other outside school too, so gangs will still arise. Last but not least, school uniforms are an unfair additional expense for parents and besides that a financial burden for poor families. School uniform is usually expensive and childrens grow every year - so they need new school uniform every year! I think that students have the right to wear whatever they want. If school uniforms take away their freedom, they might never want to learn again. I like that we don't have school uniforms in Rakke Gymnasium. It's my freedom to be the person I want to be

The family was extremely excited that day. My parents had taken me to the mandir the previous day and my bag was packed with great care. I was to go to School for the first time in my life.I was six years old and I still remember the day I first went to school. My aunt came to drop me to my classroom and helped me to get familiar with my teacher and class. I hated the thought of being away from home for so many hours. Tears rolled down my checks as I got off the house and held my aunt’s hand.My aunt could sense my fear and tried to cheer me up . I fet a little better as I saw many other boys and girls entering the class where I had to go.my aunt left me in the classroom and drove to the house. I felt my heart sink as I saw go but I soon began to feel better.the times passed quickly and I started making new friends so I began loving the school. The Advantages and Disadvanatges of Having a Part Time Job

Actually, there are many advantages such as earning money,a new experience and development of the organization skills. However, you should take into account some disadvantages, for instance, the lack of time and stress. Generally speaking, students can benefit a lot from part-time jobs. The first advantage is that students can earn money. Earning money by themselves is good way to learn how to be independent. Students don't have to ask money from the parents and they can see that earning money is not so easy. Second advantage is that students can acquire more experiences and polish their skills when taking part-time jobs. For example, if someone enjoys teaching, working part-time as a tutor may help him or her improve teaching skills and gain experiences. There are some disadvantages, too. First of all, it is the lack of time for focus on studies. There is very big problem that students can't find time for studying

Essay-Environmental problems

Estonia. We, as individuals, are capable of doing anything to save our world. To begin with, everyday life has been disturbed because of COVID-19. Life stopped during this pandemic not only in China where it started, but also across the globe. When we look at the present situation, very many people are confined to their own homes. In Estonia, students can’t go to school normally, they have to stay behind the computer every day and it is very exhausting. Many parents have lost their jobs because of the virus. And still there are people who won’t listen to the government rules and spread the virus further. Secondly, global warming is increasing at an alarming rate with the progress in technology. In recent years, industrialization and extensive use of automobiles have been observed, and these developments have significantly raised the levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Moreover, these gases like carbon dioxide and methane trap the sunlight and

I saw a documentary about chatrooms lately and there were men who set up a date with under- aged girl, they recorded it and it was sent to police, because having more-than- friends-relationship with under- aged girl is against the law. Parents and schools should be teaching more about Internet safety nowadays to help kids understand about chatroom dangers. In my opinion second important danger is cheating money from innocent people behind their back. Internet chatrooms gain money by adding any kind of advertisements to their application. Many of those advertisements have text for example ,,You won 1 million'' or ,,Write here your phone number and get new Mobile Phone''

Fast food . Advantages and disadvantages.

and it has affected their life harshly. And the workers there aren't so polite. There was article that they have been given wrong change back or spit in peoples food. Or they make fries with oil that has been there about 4-8 weeks. And what they offer to people isn't healthy at all. The use only the cheapest ingredients. People think that they it fast food then they don't have to cook at home. It's more easy and saves time. So many times I have seen parents feeding their child that junk food. That's bad example for future grown- ups. And people think why they can't cook or they gain weight. In their food there is much trans fats. All noodles and other fast food you can find there is about 12% of fat. And people know that. But no it tastes good so it's okey. And after a while they have eaten it. in the end they don't know where it went wrong because fast food makes people addicted to their food and people will buy it. I wont argue

People are afraid of the unknown, it is natural. But it can only grow, if it gets encouragement, either from parents, who are also ingorant or school, who just do not teach children any better. And fighting intolerance requires Law. Intolerance can be fought with education. Tolerance can be teached at an early age only, later it is difficult change a person’s values. Pros and Cons of School Uniform

Pros and Cons of School Uniform At several schools worldwide, students are required to wear school uniforms. In some schools, uniforms are not required as this is part of the decision of the school or the parents. On the other hand, wearing school uniform does have its pros and cons. First of all, wearing school uniform suppresses students’ way to express themselves. Uniforms prevent them from wearing the clothes they want to wear. Children are often much more artistic than many adults, especially in high school, teenagers experience an increased need to be unique and special. The clothes are one of the most important things of self-expression,

Essee What does being free mean?

Moreover, some people suggest that being free mean material independence. If a man provide himself (materially), he is able to act as he wants to do it. In spite of having many advantages, being free may also be harmful for certain people. The most important disadvantage is that too much freedom in children`s upbringings could cause a big variety of problems of person`s character in the future life. For instance, that young ones, who acquit themselves ill in childhood and are not punished by parents, can connect their life with crime in after years. Another negative effect of being free is loneliness since nowadays youth wants to stay free of marriage as long as possible. Not all of them understand that such attitude towards others results being not only free, but also lonely. To sum up, I would like to say that every person is a small part of our society, therefore we should be useful for it. In my opinion, being free means participating in social life, where your opinion is valuable.

Eating out

However, with some knownledge and thought, eating out can be enjoyable and healthy. Sometimes i like eating out with friends. Eating out with friends is the way to talking about our school day. I like our talkings beyond school. We always eat our favorite place, Hesburger. Its not healthy eatery, but we like it. There we always order hamburger, french fries and something drink. French fries are very unguinous and this is not good. Drinks are to saccharine. When i go out with my parents, we always go health food restaurant. There i order root vegetable soup and juice. Sometimes me order afters too. Hesburger and health food restaurant are very different, one is healthful and one is unhealthy. In general we should all eat a wide variety of nutritious foods, plenty of breads and cereals (particularly wholegrain), vegetables, legumes (such as chickpeas) and fruit, low salt foods, and use salt sparingly, small amounts of foods which contain added sugars.

Studying abroad

you have advantage to be independent. In addition, you got new friends and habits. All of this is new and interesting. Secondly, studying abroad give you more practice. You need it for communication and understanding. You can practice your language, also you can learn different cultures of countries. Nevertheless, studying abroad has also negative sides. In my opinion, studying abroad can be a very difficult and distracting factor. For example, when you go study abroad alone, without your parents and friends, you have to be very patient, because this is unknown place for you. All of this may distract your life in future. Furthermore, studying abroad has also some disadvantages. You need money for food, living and also for traffic and travelling. You may have to go work to pay bills and use public transport. Some people can not accustomize culture of country because it is new for them. In conclusion I can say that studying abroad has a very useful and great experience. It

The influence of television

cultural, social and environmental change, and to create a true global village. It also has the potential to alienate, desocialise, to promote aggressive and negative behaviours, provide negative and inappropriate role models to our children, and to create negative values such as values of consumption and possession. TV has a big influence amongst younger people, because sometimes they intend to listen more to strangers than their parents, siblings or teachers. Television shows very big variety of different newscasts, reality shows and documentaries, which all can be a big impact of their lives. Children who consistently spend more than 4 hours per day watching TV are more likely to be overweight. They usually tend to grab a snack while watching TV or even eat their supper or afternoon snack in front of a TV. Of course, television can be educational and teach children something, such as self-

What I would change if I were omnipotent

So that eventually everyone would take trash personally. Secondly, When ever I turn on the television there are commercials after commercials. Everything is circling around profits these days. I would change that. I would not want to completely destroy money but to have it as an utility that everyone has. Moreover, people would take pride in producing earth friendly high quality items. Not because of money but because it brings them joy. Thirdly, children are forgetting to respect their parents. It is important to listen and love them when they are around. I would preserve and increase the love in a family. Also, I would make people love their friends and people around them a lot more . I would want the people to care for the nature and respect it. To sum it up, I wish I could change all that. I sincerely believe that if people would not litter, value their job for what it is and be proud of it not because of the

Shopping in my life

something because my family doesn't have much money to waste. I always go to the sales. When I need some money, I ask my dad or mum and they give me some. I don't have my own credit card but my dad has one. I love fashion clothes. I like jeans, sweat shirts and tops. I wear them every day at school and my favourite colours are pink and purple. I enjoy buying clothes very much. I always have fun shopping experience. Usually I spend a very little money on snacks or sweets. I don't help my parents with the household chores. My mother buys food and household goods for a family of three. She makes her shopping spree at the supermarket or at the local grocery store. At the end of her shopping spree she pays at the checkout stand by credit card. I think that money isn't everything and I don't waste too much money on things that I don't really need. I think that all things are too expensive and I don't like the euro. I spent about twenty euro on clothes in month

Methods students should adopt to select the right university

of picking the right school. It is crucial to make the right judgments considering one's academics and abilities, too. The students should evaluate their skills and talents objectively and not over- or underestimate themselves. There are schools that are known to be more demanding than others. Although the choice of university can be tough even with a lot of research, it is always possible to ask for assistance from parents, teachers or guidance counselors. The Internet is also very helpful. In spite of all that, no one else can make that decision for oneself. It is a huge commitment and needs a lot of focus. Choosing the right higher educational institution can be a tough call to make, but through a thorough process, it is possible.
