Gays as Parents Gay adoption is very hot topic today. There are people of the same sex who love each other and want to get children, but as we all know, children cannot be born without mother and father and a gay couple has to adopt to get a child. Some think that a child cannot have mentally healthy childhood if growing up with gay parents. I think that children who are old enough, should decide themselves if they want gay parents or not. I do not see a problem if a thirteen year old kid decides that he preferres gay parents to no parents. But the poblem is that younger children or even babies are usually adopted. They cannot decide so important thing. And here is the problem, to let gays adopt babies or not? I do not have a clear opinion in gay parents. Beauty pageants for small girls should be banned Today's beauty pageants are detrimental to a child's development. These kinds of competitions can lead to low selfconfidence and poor body image. While most beauty pageants cater strictly to girls, there are a growing number that include boys as well. I firmly believe that taking part of beauty pageants is pressured by contestants' parents. It is their vision of how their children should look and act like. Some children do not want to partake in those competitions because it is tiring and chaotic, some children even do not understand what it is all about, because they are too young for that. What are the best ways to prevent teenagers from committing crimes Nowadays there are many reasons why teenagers could be influenced into committing crimes. A lack of life experience can lead teenagers into criminal and even dangerous situations, such as robbery, taking drugs or drinking alcohol. I think, there are many ways to prevent teenagers from committing crimes. Firstly, I think, that teenagers lifestyle is their parents responsibility. Parents have to teach teenagers how to control their anger. Also it shouldn't be allowed for teenagers to watch cruel movies with violence. Moreover there are different programs, which help teenagers to use communication as a mean of handle conflicts, arguments and misunderstandings. Also there should be special lessons at school, which will help student to overcome with their problems.
