What is the best age to be? The question we all may ask ourselves time and time again. What is the best age to be? In my opinion there is not a best age and because of that is a question that will always be left unanswered. The life span approach emphasizes developmental change is throughout adulthood as well as childhood. As a 18 year old female I cannot really choose a specific age group that would be best in the life in every aspect, because I have not yet reached certain age periods of my life span development. All ages have great and bad things. When you are a child your freedom is limited and it mostly depends on your parents´ mood at that time. Some examples like where you have to be home at 9.00pm and no TV until you´ve cleaned your room. Also then you have problems, but only the ones generated at school. Childhood has many responsibilities, some we like, some we have to do and some we despise. Responsibilities some of us en...
The music was fast and frantically paced and led to dances being banned from dance halls, as the young women being flung into the air by their partners showed their stocking tops and underwear. Jazz continued to be popular. 1940s - The Second World War brought fast, frantic (and often American) dance music - boogie-woogie or jitterbug. Dances were held in church halls, village halls, clubs, Air Force bases - everywhere! But slower, romantic songs were also popular as loved ones went away to fight, such as Vera Lynn's 'We'll Meet Again' and the song about coming home again, 'The 'White Cliffs of Dover'. After the war 'skiffle' bands became popular. These bands used household items, such as washboards and tea chests, as part of their set of instruments! Tommy Steele, who later became very famous, first played in a skiffle band. 1950s - Rock and Roll became very popular. 1960's - The Beatles began their career. They leapt to fame in 1963 with 'Please, Please Me'.

proposal, as was described in the novel. "His sense of her inferiority -of its being a degradation- of the family obstacles which judgment had always opposed to inclination, were dwelt on with warmth which seemed due to the consequence he was wounding, but was very unlikely to recommend his suit." This may show that Mr. Darcy had zero comprehension of politeness, but it can also serve as a proof of the deep-rooted understandings of equal fortune and class between the ones who tie the knot in the 19th century. Obviously marriage was not the only point that was affected by the class divisions. A conversation carried out by the representative of a great titled family and the members of mediocre class illustrates the differences between them in even the smallest aspects of the everyday life. "When my niece Georgiana went to Ramsgate last summer, I made a point of her having two men servants go with her. You must send John with the young ladies, Mrs. Collins

As it is a widespread social problem it's also one of the worst ones, because the hatred directed to different races or even nationalities makes the foreign people feel bad and also to hate the locals. This brings up many conflicts like the bombings in 2005 (when 4 islamic suicide bombers killed thmeselves and 52 civilians), but usually the conflicts are smaller, like brawls between different ethnic groups or mockery and insults. 3)In 1999 was the biggest racism related crime in the last 3 decades, when a

in embrasures that were provided with niches for the logs that served to stop the backlash. The floors of the embrasures were initially stepped to enable the men handle the guns better. The fireplaces on every floor were needed to get fire for the firearms. Reconstructions in the 16th and 17th century changed the original looks of the tower considerably. When the Ingermanland bastion was heaped up, two lower storeys of the tower became underground ones inside the bastion earth mound. The entrance from the bastion was made into the second floor. The four upper floors were reconstructed to suit the guns on wheel carriages. Most of the steps in the embrasure floors were levelled and the embrasure mouths were funnelled. Above the embrasure chambers vents for siphoning gunpowder smoke out were built. The last floor got a new outer wall to support a new ceiling roof that was 2 m thick at its thinnest and 4 m thick at the top of the vault.

56-57) describes it as being a state of war in which man is in perpetual fear and his life being ...solitary, poor, nasty, brutish and short. However, it seems that Locke is quick to revert from his stance of a state of nature being a state of peace, good will, mutual assistance, and preservation Locke (1821, p. 202) and it becomes apparent that there is in fact an overlap with Hobbes account. As there is no temporal or divine authority to protect ones property in a state of nature enjoyment of it is very uncertain and constantly exposed to the invasion of others Locke (1821, p. 295) Locke asserts that once a man combines his own labour with material from a state of nature, he has a natural right to it as he has removed it from its original state. Lock gives an account of man tacitly consenting to gold and silver pertaining value and even though this opinion has not been expressly voiced, acceptance of an ...
subculture in the novel. MAIN CHARACTERS Alex is a protagonist. Alex is very easily irritable and very violent, for example he is very fond of opera and classical music but his friend Dim mocks it. Alex gets furious and punches Dim. He is also very arrogant even his gang members think so. The only thing that Alex values is violence and power. He thinks that Devil is inside him and explains that way his violent acts. He is from a good family and enjoys the power he has over his close ones. He has no empathy for his victims that mean he is very cruel. There are two things that Alex enjoys: blood and classical music. IS THE PORTRAYAL OF THE CHARACTERS BELIEVABLE? WHY/NOT? While reading the book, it seems very real, because characters are very well described. But for real life are these characters too unbelievable. CONFLICT OR PROBLEM Problem was that Alex and his friends committed crimes and loved violence EVENTS: rising action
the writer is either expected to give a balanced consideration of a particular topic, or to state their own opinion clearly and then support it by giving reasons. An essay should begin with an introduction in which some background information is given about the problem that is going to be discussed. The angle from which the problem is going to be looked upon in the essay is also stated. In longer essays these are in different paragraphs, in shorter ones they can be in one paragraph. The body of the essay usually consists of several paragraphs, the number of which depends on the length of the essay. Each paragraph should begin with a topic sentence. The following sentences should enlarge on the theme, give examples, etc. If it is an essay discussing the advantages and disadvantages of something, the advantages should be grouped together and so should be the disadvantages. One paragraph should only talk about one thing, aspect, etc
E-book the book of the future An e-book is an abbrevation for electronic book, also known as a digital book. It is an equivalent to the conventional printed book. teachers or the subjects that they are taught. They tend think that they won't need those subjects in their future life. Some children are just lazy and irresponsible. Also one serious reason is bullying. Bad relationships between the classmates make students to skip the classes. People, no matter how old they are should learn to take responsibility for their actions. However it does not refer to the small children who attend the primary school but they usually do not skip. The ones that do skip are mostly the students of the secondary and high school who are definitely old enough to take responsibility for their actions. If they think that they are already smart enough and do not need to study anymore then it is their choice and their parents should not be punished for their children making that decision. There can be many reasons why parents cannot cope with their children. Families are different and you never know what is going on between the members of the family.
WHAT IS MARRIAGE ??? ( Thoughts pouring down in ones mind ) 1. Marriage is not a word. It's a sentence (a life sentence). 2. Marriage is love. Love is blind. Therefore marriage is an institution for the blinds. 3. Marriage is an institution in which a man loses his Bachelor's Degree and the woman gets her masters. 4. Marriage is a three ring circus: engagement ring, wedding ring and suffering. 5. Married life is full of excitement and frustration: In the first year of marriage, the man speaks and the woman listens. In the second year, the woman speaks and the man listens. In the third year, they both speak and the NEIGHBOR listens. 6. Getting married is very much like going to a restaurant with friends. You order what you want, and when you see what the other person has, you wish you had ordered that instead. 7. There was this man who muttered a few words in the church and found himself married. A year later he muttered something in his...

On account of her constant questionings she finally evolves into an individual, who is capable of distinguishing essential truths of life from unimportant ones, however she still remains to be uncertain, which may indicate that her discoveries are not all-encompassing in nature and may fade away from the memory. From the very beginning it is evident that Laura is a young lady, who tries to learn how to establish herself. During that process she has to step out of her comfort zone for several times. Main Sights England is known for its many world-famous sightseeings and people all around the world come to see them. Some of them are even like symbols of England. The most famous ones are: Stonehenge is one of the greatest national icons of Britain. That prehistoric monument is located in the plain of Salisbury, in the county of Wiltshire in the south-west of England. It is built of 150 enormous stones which are set in a purposive circular pattern. Stonehenge was probably built to mark the longest and shortest day of the year because it lies on the line of the midsummer sunrise and the midsummer sunset. That would have enabled people to keep a record of changing of seasons
When the gully formation is in process, the water flow ratecan be substantial, which causes the significant deep cutting action into soil. 8. How are plants adapted to life in the biome (temperate deciduous forest, temperate rainforest, temperate grassland, taiga)? Temperate deciduous forest - Wildflowers grow on forest floor early in the spring before trees leaf-out and shade the forest floor ; many trees are deciduous (they drop their leaves in the autumn, and grow new ones in spring). Most deciduous trees have thin, broad, light-weight leaves that can capture a lot of sunlight to make a lot of food for the tree in warm weather; when the weather gets cooler, the broad leaves cause too much water loss and can be weighed down by too much snow, so the tree drops its leaves. New ones will grow in the spring.; trees have thick bark to protect against cold winters. Temperate rainforest- epiphytes such as mosses and ferns grow atop other plants to reach light

Right now, when I think back on the time when mathematics was the most important subject for me and how the teachers kept pushing it on, I actually laugh, because I would not imagine myself studying something related to that. How do I imagine my future in English? That is the question I would like to know the answer to myself as well. I get asked very often if I will be a teacher or a translator in the future and I always answer no, because those two professions are not the ones I see my future in. One of my former teachers said that I should not worry about my future, because having a degree in English actually gives plus points everywhere you go. Still, as I mentioned before, I also wanted to get into Public Relations and that did not happen ideally I would actually combine the two: English and PR, in the future. Right now I am just sure that I like studying English and I'm always ready to learn more and I definitely do not agree with my friends who

No one can hurt you that way. *Everytime I see him all cool, calm and collected, I lose my breath, my heart starts pounding, and I am painfully aware that I am not over him and he is over me. *If you don't love me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best. *Do I really love him or am I addicted to the pain of wanting something I can't have. *Ever notice that the people who hurt you the most are the ones you tend to love more. *I hate the way I could never hate you. *I want to cry, I really do, but I guess I just don't want to give you the satisfaction of knowing that you hurt me once again. *I'd rather be your lover then your friend, but I'd rather be your friend then your nobody. *If you think you've found that one that you really love... make sure they love you back. *Don't hate me.
