Firstly, soldiers who go through death of friends, companions and enemies have a big hole in their souls. Seeing death isn`t something you can just forget, it becomes a memory that he doesn`t want to remember. Some soldiers do not have strong nervous system and they can go crazy, some of them can go even a bedlam. If the soldier has been in the war but haven't had any visible injuries it doesn`t mean that he isn´t wounded. We can never know what he saw and how did it effect him mentally.
