Ka teised tankirünnakud kukkusid läbi samamoodi nagu esimene. Ka jalavägi ei suutnud midagi saavutada. Sakslastele tundus uskumatu, et eestlased pole taganenud. Nende tegevust saadeti kontrollima isegi kontrollkomisjon. Lahinguväljal hukkus üle 9000 punaarmeelase ja hävitati 113 tanki. Eestlaste poolel oli langenuid ~60 ja kergemalt haavatuid oli 326. Lahingu teisel päeval langes käsivõitluses 1. kompanii ülem kapten Jaan Raudsoo ja kolmandal päeval pataljoni ülem major Eberhardt. 35 võitlejat said Izjumi lahingu eest II klassi Raudristi, neli aga I klassi Raudristi. Küll aga ei olnud aega meestel oma teenitud kuulsust kaua nautida. Juba peagi saadeti nad jälle teele. Hadnitsa ümbruses Harkovi lähistel toimus mitu kokkupõrget venelastega. Punaarmee käsutuses oli ~1000 soomustatud üksust. Sellegi poolest suutsid eestlased pealetungid peatada ja oma positsioonid säilitada. Peale Hadnitsa lahinguid oli pataljonis alles 157 meest

Ainult eestlastest koosnev 13-meheline luuresalk 4 hukkus ülesannet täites 1942. a. septembris-oktoobris Arhangelsk-Vologda raudtee piirkonnas. 1943.a. kevadel ja varem Soomes olnud mehed koondati Karjala maakitsusel võitlevasse 47. jalaväerügemendi ( JR 47 ) III ( Vallila ) pataljoni, mille ülemaks oli Soome marssali Mannerheimi õepoeg major Claes Gripenberg. Pataljon oli vaheldumisi väljaõppel rindetaguses Jalkala laagris ning rindeteenistuses Rajajoel raudtee lõigul. Nemad panid aluse soomepoiste ideoloogiale, võtsid kasutusele moto: "SOOME VABADUSE JA EESTI AU EEST". 1943. a. sügisel Soome põgenenutest astus u. 400 meest Soome Merejõudude teenistusse, kus said väljaõpet ja teenisid mitmetel sõjalaevadel, moodustades 10 % Soome laevastiku isikkoosseisust.
Tartu Partisanide Pataljon 1000 relv meest + 75 ohvitseri, kapten Talpak, liikusid edasi Tallinna vallutamisele hiljem. Põhja-Eestis moodustasid kohalikud koos Soomest tulnud eestlastega ,,Erna" grupi, kolonel Ants Kurg. Tulid 10. juulil paatidega Soomest randa ja liikusid edasi Soosaarele Kautla asunduse lähedal. Kogunes 500-2000 inimest. Juuli-augusti vahetusel siin ägedad lahingud. Saksa vägede koosseisus läbi lahinguid major Hans Hirvelaane pataljon.Kokku Saksa vägedega kaasa ca 1500 meest. Tartu ülestõus oli 10. juulil 1941 Tartus alanud vastupanuvõitlejate väljaastumine Nõukogude okupatsiooni vastu. Juuli alguses läbisid Tartu sakslaste eest taganevad Punaarmee üksuste voorid. Põgenevad kommunistid korraldasid Tartu vangla massimõrva ning lasid õhku Kivisilla ja Vabadussilla. 10. juulil toimunud ülestõusu käigus vabastasid eestlased Tartu lõunaosa. Punaarmee 11.

If we go back in time 50 years, then we will find ourselves in the year 1958. Certainly it was not one the brightest periods in our lives, because all the Estonians were occupied by Russians and the governing power was also held by them. It was a time where we never even dreamed about life we are having nowadays. The way of life was very complicated, people had limited rights and all the things we nowadays have done by machines were all handmade. These are the major reasons, which made me think that life was worse 50 years ago than now. Why was it so? Firstly, nowadays we can speak about many comforts, which 50 years ago was not so. In 1950s' there were any conveniences at all everything had to be made by yourself and people were living a poor life. People did not have the chance to own expensive technics(as a matter of fact some of them were not invented yet or it just had not been
