Positive sides of the economic recession

Positive sides of the economic recession The economic recession is inevitable. Without it people would not have any understanding about how economy works and what are the future expectations. During the recession people start thinking about cheaper ways of living. Since the monthly income might not be as brave as it was before, they turn their attention to discounted alternative products and find out that for example it may be possible to use low-priced detergents instead of purchasing a highly recommended one and double the expense. Also, a lot of enterprises and companies gain experience from recessions. They might suffer under lack of different resources for example financial and material crisis. However, if the

No trip to London would be complete without a visit to the Tower of London. This famous historical site has been the living quarters of monarchs. It has been a site of imprisonment and execution of many traitors, clergymen, nobles and framed members of the royal court and was also an armory, treasury, zoo and mint. Today it houses the crown jewels and has a museum filled with armor, weapons and implements of torture. Another popular tourist sight is the London eye. Constructed by British Airways, it towers 135 meters above the banks of the Thames River

Shortly after he first heard of Damrongs' death he buried hes' problems into a vodka bottle. Although Damrong was a prostitute he was having some indescribable feeling for her. It wasn't exactly love more like fondness. He never got Damrongs' way of living. He never unterstood why she didn't have a singel photograph of herself although she looked magnificent. What is the message of the book? The book is a criminal story. It doesn't have a clear message, but if I have to think of something I'd think of something like this: The way you lived in the past mustn't change the way you are right now. Past is past and you have to keep it there. Across 1

The building was believed to illustrate the new lifestyle people would live in increasingly crowded cities around the world. 8.Cubic Houses (Rotterdam, Netherlands) Architect: Piet Blom This is a housing designed on top of a pedestrian bridge. The main idea behind this is to create a forest of cubes (abstract trees) as each cube represents an abstract tree. The cubes are tilted and sit on hexagon-shaped pole structures. The triangle-shaped lower level contains the living area. 9.Hang Nga Guesthouse (Crazy House), Vietnam This fantastical place is like a journey into the world of Alice and Wonderland. Brexit (inglise keelne)

As for the EU, it will lose a country that played a big part in Europe’s economy and annual GDP will fall by about 5%. EU nations’ exports will take a big hit, as some countries depend a lot on exports to the UK. For example, Ireland’s exports will be majorly affected, since about 14% are sent directly to Britain. They would have to come up with new deals that could diminish Ireland’s export profits. Also, a lot of people living and working in the UK are sending money home to other EU countries. As the numbers show, about €7.5 billion is being sent home from Britain. In the case of no-deal Brexit, new laws and requirements could be triggered that would have a negative side effect on those who are already working there or were planning on starting. Brexit is considered somewhat of a wake-up call for everybody. It is not a time to lose hope and declare the end of the union

EUTHANASIA

EUTHANASIA Many hotly debated social questions revolve around choice. Giving people access to assistance in dying is one of them. The issue is too sensitive to come to a smple conclusion. The basic question is : should a person who is terminally ill and who feels that their life is not worth living, who is repeatedly asking for euthanasia and who is of sound mind be given assistance in dying so that they could do it in a dignified manner rather than have their lives prolonged by medical technology? Ultimately, it's a question of choice: empowering people to have control over their own bodies. The main opposition comes from religious groups, medical associations whose members see practising euthanasia as an inproper exctension of their role as carers. Throughout centuries the

Wealth does not bring happiness essay

wanted to change. On the other hand, being wealthy prevents financial problems and this means less worrying. You can buy things you really need plus you can support the underprivileged and the less fortunate. Wealth in fact can be for the benefit of being happier. I also have heared people say: ,,Money does not bring happiness but I would rather cry in a Ferrari." In conclusion wealth itself really does not bring happiness. Ofcourse we need money for living but as well we need family, friends, love and a place to go. Wealth can only help us to be happy, but we have to use it profitably.

People whould have the rights to design their own babies

your own baby? Most likely everyone has. It is every parent's hope that their child will turn out to be a perfect human being without any physical or mental disabilities. But is it moral? First of all, if parents could design their own baby everyone would be perfect. What is more there would not be any babies born with illnesses or disabilities, both mental and physical. This is good news both to parents and children because living together with a handicap or being one is a very hard and sad thing. Another major point is, how far would people go designing their babies. One thing is to make sure that your baby is healthy but to design your child's appearance is superficial, what is more, it is morally wrong. In addition the way one person looks is not as important as the personality. To sum people should not have the right to design their own children. The only thing

Should Cloning Be Banned ? essee

Should cloning be banned ? Cloning is using genetic engineering to make exact copies of living animals and plants. One of the most famous cloning processes involved a sheep named Dolly. The sheep was the first mammal cloned from adult DNA. Since then it has become part of real life and the subject of public debate. For some people, human cloning is acceptable in medicine in spite of the criticism that it is repulsive. Firstly, cloning the organs can save many lives. For example when a person needs an organ and can not find a donor, doctors could just give her the cloned organ

Using computers for school subjects

their own good. Sitting in front of a computer screen all day, every day, is bad for students' health, it can damage their eyesight. Also, it will be too expensive. It would be difficult to buy computers for every student. Setting up and updating the software will create additional costs. If schools buy too many computers, there may not be left money to pay salaries for the teachers. Will it ensure the high quality of teaching? On the other hand, we are living in the 21st century and nowadays everything is done with computers. Computers can be convenient and useful. For example, they can help students search for information. In conclusion, I believe that computers are great inventions, but students should not use them in every school subject. Students should do things with their own hands, not using the technology.

They questioned 500 people aged 1574 all over Estonia. 83% of Estonian's are aware of the upcoming Population and Housing Census and 95% consider the Census essential for Estonia. People consider the most important thing to be found out the real population number of Estonia (70% of people questioned) and the data collection about living conditions (37%). This shows people's interest and concern about the sustainability of Estonia. The electronic Population and Housing Census will take place during the first month of the Census and 2/3 of the people questioned are planning to use the opportunity to answer the questionnaires electronically. Most of them are people under the age of 54, as the majority of people from 54- 77 expect a visit from the enumerator. This demonstrates

Tourism Advantages, Disadvantages

Tourism Tourism is becoming one of the most attractive sectors in many countries in the world. It developes very quikly because people travel a lot and companies invest much money in tourism. It has many benefits but also much can be said against the tourism. Firstly, the main advantage of tourism is that it gives people places to work. For instance hotels, bars and museums. Due to that, the standards of living increases and unemployment decrease. Secondly, many countries depend on the money whick tourism brings. It can help developing countries to become stabled. By attracting people from almost everywhere, the area can get much money in order to develop the other public services such as hospitals and schools. On the other hand, tourism may cause misunderstandings and problems because tourists do not always respect traditional cultures. They bring the bad

There is something distinctive about every generation

There is something distinctive about every generation Most of the people in general are all the same. Their values, thoughts, realtions and things like that. But every generation has some differences in them, every generation has something distinctive. Having about four generations living together is something very important, but in these days we tend to forget that. Every generation has something to teach the others, all of them have different experiences, conceptions and ways they like to solve problems. For example the ways people acted fifty years ago may not fit into today's world, but then there are the grandchildren's generation that can show and teach elderly how it is acceptable to do something.

School should provide computers for students to use for all their school subjects

School should provide computers for students to use for all their school subjects Nowadays we are moving into a IT era. This is an inevitable because everything is becoming computerized. Students use computers to make homework. I strongly believe that schools should have computers but there is no need for all the subjects. Firstly, sitting a long time in front of the computer screen is unhealthy. Students' eyes will be dry and they may have headache. It can also have a negative effect on students' moods. In addition, computer labs' maintenance is expensive. One which can be need to writing and using Internet only, costs not much, but if we need to buy about twenty computers for one class - it is huge amount. Only schools that have a lot of money can afford more machines. On the other hand, notebook can be useful and it doesn't damage your senses and health, but living in 21st century means using computers a lot. Moreover, a computer ...

What are the Advantages and Disadvantages of Tourism

What are the Advantages and Disadvantages of Tourism? In today's world tourism is vital part of economy. Although tourism has became main source of income to many countries, it was not so couple of decades ago. This young branch of industry started developing in the second half of last century, when people had more money and sources than ever before. Importance of tourism to countries such as Egypt, Greece and Spain can not be questioned, as employment, service industry and opportunity to sell goods, is related to it. Tourism has also helped to build up certain regions, which otherwise would still be struggling in poverty. Futhermore, to make country desirable destination, governments have to keep crime rate under control, which makes life safer for locals as well. On the negative side, relentless waves of tourists increase our carbon footprint. Transportation increases pollution and creates gridlocks. Often big hote...

Preparation of teaching materials is more difficult to have many classes in school. Work hard to improve because teachers do not have much time. Thirdly I would say I do not like that there are few nature in a big school near. City people do not surrounded the clean nature. People living in polluted climates, where cars travel every day. People should move to the land where it is cleaner and more recent. In a large school it is better to live and learn. What more can you ask for when you are living life in the fast lane? Well, plenty fast food is all good tasting, except that it is not nutritionally balanced and, therefore, unhealthy in the long run if consumed on a regular basis. Kommertslik hip-hop Kommertslik hip-hop on muusika ja kultuur , mida on mõjutanud eeskätt rahvusvahelistele meediakontsernidele kuuluvad suured plaadifirmad. Kommertsliku hip-hopi lähimineviku tipphetkede hulka kuuluvad 2002. aasta film 8 Mile, 2005. aasta Sean 'Diddy' Combs'i esinemine saates Martha Stewart Living ning 2005. aasta Tennesseel-põhineva Three Six Mafia võidetud parima laulu Oscar. Schools should provide computers for students to use for...

especially sight. As a result, children can feel more exhausted after school than they do now. It can also have a negative effect on students' moods. In addition, providing computers for students to use for all the subjects in Estonia is unreasonable. I am trying to say that many schools have more urgent problems than low level of computerizing. Only some prestigeous schools can afford themselves to have a PC for every student. On the other hand, living in the 21st century means using computers a lot, so why not let children get used to this? Moreover, a computer can be very convenient and useful for students. In conclusion, I think that in less than a decade students are going to to use computers for all their subjects at school but now we should try to avoid total computarization...

Shopping has become a favourite past time among young people

Shopping has become a favourite past time among young people I think that the fact is that shopping has become one of the most favourite past times among young people, because nowadays in the cities are shopping centres. Opponents of this view say, that the main reason why it is gone this way is that fashion is getting popular among adolescents. Many people are in favour of clothes and accessories what are followed by the latest trend. Moreover, our economy has been developed, so peoples are living well and due to that they are allowed to spend money for shopping. Needless to say, that young people often get too much money from their parents and wasting it at the mall. Lastly, nowadays many young people don't know about other activities beside internet and shopping. Contrary to the popular belief, it is know that there are much more interesting activities for youths what must be encouraged by the older generation. For example sport games like football what takes skill and practice

Hemingway A Farewell to Arms (main characters)

Analysis of Major Characters Frederic Henry - In the sections of the novel in which he describes his experience in the war, Henry portrays himself as a man of duty. He attaches to this understanding of himself no sense of honor, nor does he expect any praise for his service. Even after he has been severely wounded, he discourages Rinaldi from pursuing medals of distinction for him. Time and again, through conversations with men like the priest, Ettore Moretti, and Gino, Henry distances himself from such abstract notions as faith, honor, and patriotism. Concepts such as these mean nothing to him beside such concrete facts of war as the names of the cities in which he has fought and the numbers of decimated streets. Against this bleak backdrop, Henry's reaction to Catherine Barkley is rather astonishing. The reader understands why Henry responds to the game that Catherine proposes--why he pledges his love to a woman he barely kn...

How to make the world greener

How to make the world greener As the time goes on, people keep polluting the world more and more till the last decade or so when green living has reached a huge audience and a lot of organisations have been established aswell as a lot of online sites like greenerworld.com which help you save the environment. The main reason the global pollution has risen lately is because of the enormous growth in world population. Australia

That country is Australia. The continent it fills is Australia, too . Its full name is Commonwealth of Australia . Australia is the only continent except Antarctica that is all south of the equator . Its name is ´´´southland´´. Since it is south of equator, its seasons are just the opposite of ours . Sometimes Australia is called the island continent . Two hundred years ago there were no white people in Australia . The only inhabitants were dark-skinned people who were still living in a Stone Age . Their only weapons were stone knives, simple spears, and boomerangs . For food they hunted and fished and gathered wild fruits and nuts . Dutch sailors stopped at several places on the northern and western coasts in the 1600s . They brought back word that the land was ´´ of very little use ´´ . There is a great desert in Australia, and comes down to the sea on the western and southern coasts . William Dampier was the first Englishman to reach Australia . But Captain

Most needed professions in Estonia in 21st century

All people in society have a role. All adults should have jobs. Some professions are more needed in society than others. In Estonia we need mostly newer professions, connected with computers. I think doctor is a most needed profession. We have so many illnesses and nobody knows what it is. We need people, who help us to cope with them. In Estonia doctors earn not much money, that's why a lot of them go to foreign country to work and to earn their living. The second most needed profession is connected with computers. More growing computer using and replacing jobs with robots and computer programs leaves some people without jobs. But companies need somebody to look after the computers and computer repairmen who know how to fix the computer problems. There are viruses computers and hackers who try brake in computers and all companies computers need to protected from those threats. The third most needed profession is a good government employee

Legen ! Wheel well ,nii inlise kui ka eesti keeles .

Wheel well (rataskaev) This wheel well, first mentioned in 1375, was once one of the main sources of water for Tallinn. The legend says that: Citizen of the town believed that an evil spirit lives in the well and threatens to make all the town wells run dry if it doesn't get regular animal sacrifices. To keep the spirit happy people started to throw dead animals to the well. The main victims appeared to be cats living in the town who were tossed to the well sometimes even live. The practice was so common, that soon it was given a name "Cat's Well". Although the wells in town never ran try the water quality due to sacrifices got so bad that the well couldn't be used anymore from mid 19th century and the cats of the Old Town no longer lived in fear. Rataskaev See rataskaevu on esmakordselt mainitud 1375, mis oli kunagi üks peamisi veeallikaid Tallinnas. Legend ütleb, et:
