inglise keeles Eesti tutvustus: Project: Estonia

The old farmhouses and mansions can still be seen in many places in Southern Viljandimaa. As a result of the hard work and the tenacity of the local inhabitants, Mulgimaa developed into an area known as prosperous and rich by its cultural heritage. The masters working in the villages played an important role in the development. The local foods such as sauerkraut stew, curd cake and ,,kama" (a meal made with sour milk and a mixture of ground grains) are popular even nowadays. There is even a song that says: "It is good to live in Mulgimaa / The nature is beautiful and the land is fructuous/ There are glorious groves and large wealthy Estonian farms". As for now, the large-scale industry has become more and more dominating in agriculture. After...

There should be no compulsory school subjects

In school students do not want to learn some subjects, still they have to do it. Some lessons may not like for pupils. For example, students have to learn foreign languages, be in a choir or do psychical educaion even if they do not like it at all. However, should there be compulsory subjects or should there be not? On the one hand, students do not work hard if they are not interested in the subject. Then they just waste their time doing nothing important . Also, if there are the subjects the student wants then there is no more undone homework, distracting or undiscipline. Furthermore, there are many students together wanting to learn the same thing and the associate of them is better. On the other hand some students might only choose easy and few subjects. Despite to that students can not choose very few lessons. Moreover, then there maybe few students in with more difficulty subjects, like maths, technology, literature, science or history...

My ideal home My homeland is so important to me, that if I could choose any place in the world to live in, I'd still choose Estonia. My perfect home can only be in here, where my family and friends are. In Estonia, where are swmaps and pine-wood, sandy beaches, blue sky and big fileds, where are people who i know and the place where i feel in home My perfect home is located outside of Tallinn, in the midst of nature. It is a two story house with a red roof and the house is surrounded by big white fence...

"Anna Karenina" kokkuvõte

We find out about Stiva's history: he was lazy in school but nevertheless used his connections to achieve a distinguished government career. Stiva represents the worst aspects of the social world, since he hasn't earned his way through life. On his way out of the house, Stiva almost forgets to apologize to Dolly. When he does so, she becomes furious with him, humiliated by his pity. She realizes she wants his love but can never have it. It is important to note here that Dolly and Stiva are the product of an arranged, "French," marriage, in which romance was not a major element. Their marriage, modeled on those of 18th and 19th century France, was arranged to augment the families' social status. Russian nobility during this time often modeled their behavior after the French, who, they thought, lived a more stylish lifestyle. A man named Konstantin Levin arrives to see Stiva. This is the first appearance of one of the book's protagonists...

Having job while studing

and exciting for you to try something new. But there are some negative aspects of having a job while studying. Some students try to work a lot, to earn a lot of money. So they are always very tired and forget about school. Then they think that their job is more valuable than school, and they want to leave school and to work. In conclusion I can say, that having a job is good, but first you have to think about education and then about a job. Plato

Kids are also dumb and dont know how to deal with things, just like the people who are in the dark and cant see around them. Also I liked the fact, when Plato compared smart people to them, who see the light from the dark cave and have allready have a little bit of knowelde. But thats not its really interesting to see, how Platos thought inspire people nowadays. Telling stories, how peoples lives develop and how do people gain experience. Telling when are people correct or wrong, telling whats important and what not in this life. From these suggestions people learn and stop making mistakes they always have made. All this and a lot more I enjoyed during the course of Philosophy....

Cold war

a) The United Nations was thought to be more successful because ( unlike in the League of Nations ) all of the largest nations joined and they had armed force at its disposal. All the winning and neutral countries were members and all of them could be called on to provide troops to deal with aggression. b) The Security council was important because they met regulary and dealt with crises. The original members were Britain, the USA , the USSR, France and China, because they were the five victors in the II World War. The other six seats were given to states in rotation. The five victors also have extra power so they can cancel (veto) the UN's decisions ( any decision has to be passed by at least seven members and five of them have to be the so called'' Big Five''). I think it was allowed...

War and peace

c) General de Gaulle led the Free French Forces in the Second World war and later became the president of the French Fift Republic. He decided to end the war between France and Algeria, that of coarse meant that OAS was formed, the French Fist Republic was attempted to overthrow and he was attempted to kill. He just called more troops to his aid and most of them came. Important Generals connected to the OAS were imprisoned and the Algerian war was ended. d) Palestinian refugees became refugees when they decided to leave Israel in hopes that the Arabs would kill all the Jews in the war and they would once again be the only masters on their land. Things didn't go their way because the Arabs didn't defeat the Jews, quite the opposite actually happened and the Israelis didn't let the Palestinians return after the war was over so they had to...
