Correlation between brand longevity and the diffusion of innovations theory

These products are more expensive, they depict social class and are leveraged for acceptance to those classes. There is uncertainty and risk involved in this buy. There is often post buy regret and rationalisation for the reason of that buy. To reduce the risk, the difference with competition needs to be delivered to the customer. The brand has to be portrayed unique and therefore has to be perceived more valuable (as it is more expensive). The communicators of brands must here be cautious of consumers’ perspectives to address all uncertainties in the right way. The author stresses that ‘the diffusion of an innovation is mostly reliant on the social acceptance of a collective social system and only partly on the change agent’s or communication manager’s initial awareness–creation campaigns.’ Conclusion Brands have an ever-changing challenge od keeping the popularity. The key here is to be pro-

Tolerance and diversity

are not just the same as mine. I think that every one of us should pay respect to other people. I find it interesting to learn about other cultures and how they live. Estonia is a culturally diverse society. It is home to approximately 1,4 million people and not all of them are Estonians. Beside us consider Estonia as their home: Russians, Ukranians, Belorussian, Jews, Tatars, Germans and Poles - among of many others. They all have chosen to live here and they want to be taken as a part of our nationality. They want to be accepted and esposed. I can't understand people who can't be tolerate. I think it would be absolutely dreadful if all the people were just the same. We wouldn't have anything to learn or we couldn't widen our world-view. We would be monolingual and look all the same. We would just be one dreary crowd. Our heritage makes us all special and unique and we all should accept that

A short story

Today was one of those days where everything went wrong. I had prepared myself for a job interview for a long time because I wanted that job so much. One day before the interview I set the alarm clock at 7.00am, so that I would have enough time to get ready. The interview started at 9.00am. I woke up in the morning because I heard a door bell and wondered who could come so early. I saw my neighbour standing at the door holding a newspaper. ,,You always come at 8 o'clock. What are you doing here so early?" I asked. She raised her eyebrows, felt really confused and said she had come as usual. I glanced at my watch and understood that my alarm clock hadn't rang. My job interview would start in one hour and I had to hurry on a bus. Half an hour later I was in the bus station and felt relieved because I had still 5 minutes until my bus came. So I waited and looked at the timetable and saw that the bus drove every working day except that day. ,,Oh, great," I said ironically

Efficient initiatives to help protect the environment

forestry. Recycling helps conserve important raw materials and protects natural habitats for the future. As recycling saves energy it also reduces greenhouse gas emissions, which helps to tackle climate change. I see this as a more sufficient way compared to saving electricity for example (but which, of course, is important too), for it’s generally easier to just recycle. It's really easy to carelessly waste energy–– leaving a light bulb on here and there, keeping the air conditioning on at home when you're out at work or school all day etc. Although it may not be obvious, there is a connection between energy use and the environment. As the same with recycling; when you consume less power, you reduce the amount of toxic fumes released by power plants, conserve the earth’s natural resources and protect ecosystems from destruction. Although, individual consumers can’t solely be blamed for our rising global

Bilingualism

The isolationism of single-language operations in business and in government amounts to arrogance, and eliminates the single-language entity from effective competition. There are any number of ways for the individual to learn a second or even third language. Immigrants, who refuse to become fluent in the language of their host country prevent their own success. It is mind-boggling that there are Russian-speaking families in Tallinn, for example, who have lived here in the Estonia for forty years and still have learned nary a word of Estonish! So the logical, success-promotive strategy is to learn one or more languages of a higher Tier. And such must be the policy in the schools, from the first day of pre-school or kindergarten. Children who do not speak Estonish (for example) are little disadvantaged in Estonia. I do not propose any one method or program over another, but rather assert that the policy of

Ursula Potivar Geography of Madagascar Topography Madagascar is an island in the Indian Ocean off the eastern coast of southern Africa, east of Mozambique. At 587,000 square kilometres, Madagascar is the world's 46th-largest country and the fourth- largest island. Madagascar can be divided into five geographical regions: the east coast, the Tsaratanana Massif, the central highlands, the west coast, and the southwest. The east coast The east coast consists of a narrow band of lowlands, formed from the sedimentation of alluvial soils and zone, composed of steep bluffs, alternating with ravines bordering an escarpment of about 500 meters in elevation. The coastline is straight, with the exception of the bay. The east coast is considered dangerous for swimmers and sailors because of the large number of sharks that frequent the shoreline. About 400 people work at the Palace, including domestic servants, chefs, footmen, cleaners, plumbers, gardeners, chauffers, electricians, and two people who look after the 300 clocks. At the rear of the palace, is the large and park-like garden which, together with its lake, is the largest private garden in London. Here the Queen hosts her annual garden parties each summer, and also holds large functions to celebrate royal milestones, such as jubilees. It covers 40 acres, and includes a helicopter landing area, a lake, and a tennis court. When the Queen is at home, you can see her royal flag flying from the flag pole on top of Buckingham Palace. Inglise keele stilistika

elegant use of language by developing and polishing stylistic devices. In the 18th century, an individualistic-psychological view on style and stylistics emerges. The late 19th and and early 20th centuries witnessed a utilitarian approach to stylistics. The tendency to regard stylistics as an applied science has been particularly marked in english- 1 speaking countries. It was believed here that the main aim of stylistics is to improve the style of the writer and of a textbook, that is to show how better to express one's thoughts. Of foreign linguists, it is the french Ch.Balley, G.Marduzeon who in the 20th century made a definite contribution. This happened because of the centuries-old tradition in France of interest in style. The classical works on english stylistics are those by the german scholars: Ph.Aronstein, M.Deutschbein, I.Galperin

Kõne

Good afternoon! My name is Maris Ploom and I'm form 10 th B. Today I'm here to talk about the advantages and the disadvantages of fast development of modern technology. I think we have all noticed that almost every day there are new technology achievements at the stores. Whether we like it or not, it improves in every second, in every minute. So, is it a blessing or a curse? I'm sure that most of you think it's a blessing. We like our comfortable lives, we like it when everything has already been done for us. We want to have the

Booklet about Estonia

5 million . Estonia is one of the most sparsely populated country in Europe. With 35 people per square kilometer. Nearly 1/3 of the nation live in the capital Tallinn. Along the coast of Estonia lies many bays and peninsulas. Lots of islands lie off the west- and north coast. The largest of them are Saaremaa and Hiiumaa. Geographically Estonia can be divided into 4 parts: North-, South-, West-, and East-Estonia. North-Estonia is relatively flat. Here is a nice coastline with coves, capes and a high coast. South-Estonia is more hillier, but there aren't any mountains or mountain ranges. The highest peak in Estonia is Suur Munamägi and its 318m above sealine. The largest industrial areas are situated in East-Estonia. There are beautiful nature parks in West-Estonia. The inland is mainly agricultural. Estonia is known for its 1000 lakes and beautiful nature. One of the most interesting sight is Jägala Waterfall. Lake Peipus separates

DAYDREAM

DAYDREAM  I was kayaking across the ocean, when I realised I had come to a foreign land. Upon reaching the  shore, I got out of my kayak and went exploring… I was walking on the beach when I suddenly  noticed a tiny house in the middle of nowhere. The windows were broken and the door was open. It was made of wood and in a really bad condition. I saw the smoke coming from the chimney. I  walked, scared, towards the tiny house, I was afraid to go in but I still entered. The house was  really dusty. I was looking around, when suddenly a door appeared. I opened it and i was pulled in. The stair steps appeared one after another. I was really confused and at that moment I wished I  had never got out of my kayak. I was walking down, when suddenly the stair steps started to get  warmer and warmer. My legs couldn’t handle the heat, so I started running. The steps behind me  began to explode and I ran f...

Hobbies

located in big cities and also you have to pay for it. For me it is little too expensive, because transportation and ice field rent would cost a lot of money. Next hobby, which i like to talk about, is really similar to my favorite hobby. It is roller skating. It is hobby, which you can deal with in spring, summer or even in autumn. I can't roller skate, because i don't have equipment and also we don't have good roads here, because of what it wouldn't be comfortable too roller skate and it would really noisy. I used too have roller skates and i liked to roller skate, but roller skates got to small for me and the roads went more worse. Roller skates are expensive, even used ones. You also need fuses to protect yourself, because you never will know how hard you can fall. These were my favourite hobbies, which aren't not that expensive if you once had bought yourself equpiment

Thailand

The population of Thailand is about 69,2 million people. Thailand has many tropical plants like a palm. On the street people sell coconuts, they cut a small hole to the coconut and put a straw inside, after you've drank all of the coconut water they will cut it in half so you can eat the inside. Thailand has banana plants, mango trees, papaya trees and much more tropical trees. Theres also huge jungles and caves. The big Buddha. It's made out of small marble pieces, there is a flag on here for size comparison. This picture is made by me. The Wat Rong Khun. Metallica concert review

Metallica concert review The concert I will be review about is Metallica.Specifically, the Metallica concert in Finland ,Helsinki- may 11,2018..Metallica performed 18 songs from the following albums: Kill ‘Em All (2), Ride the Lightning (3), Master of Puppets (2), …And Justice for All (1), Metallica (4), Reload (1), and Hardwired…To Self-Destruct (5).Metal music is powerful music, but what I mean here is that Metallica is powerful as a band. Their ability to emotionally connect with fans all over the world is indeed a powerful thing. Metallica has been a constant presence for 30+ years in pop culture.Metallica has influenced plenty of rock and metal artists these days, like Sepultura, KoRn, Slipknot, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, and avenged septuple. In a review of their concert, it was amazing. Their

Why was life better-worse in Estonia 50 years ago?

free to become more and more successful every day. Secondly, 50 years ago, people had very limited rights, which made them kind a shy and sour. Even getting a job was a complicated act, because there were not many workstations. And the other problem was that people did not have fair qualification. Nowadays there is open ways everywhere. Anyone can study and work on whatever job when they have enough will. Having much money will certainly come handy here. But even without the money it is possible to do what your heart desires it is all up to you. The third reason, why life is now much more better, is that people are financially insured. Everyone has their own right what to do with the money, where to spend or who to give it. All the frontiers are free, which only do not mean traveling, but also availability of different foods and materials. It helps to rise the richness of our dining table and is also good for health.

Story about English Humor

teacup was a perfect example of humiliation in nowadays just in different context. It is a real problematic topic every single country and it only gets worse. Actually it is quite sad that people are only laughing at it, ignoring the problem whether they see it or not. But as to look from the other side then it is good that even if people haven't noticed it yet, then maybe the problem comes out from making fun of it? Maybe NOW people really notice that, yes, we have a problem here. And maybe that forces people to find solutions. But that's only my imaginary. The third thing which caught my attention was the scene where a disabled lady named Ann was working in the library, trying to help people and lend out the books. I find it absolutely ridiculous that people who cannot think right and are not capable to work in such a public places have to have all the same rights that normal people have. And also do the same things as the normal people can do

A Computer in my life

more comfortable to use when you're on the move. Sometimes when I wake up early, I open my laptop, visit my webpages and then read news. After school, first thing I do, when I get home, I open my laptop and put some music on play. I always eat behind the computer, study behind the computer, sometimes I even sleep behind the computer. I sit behind the computer everyday until the midnight. I only move away from here, when I have to go to gym, or driving school. I like to keep my files and programmes organized. I have put them all in named folders. I don't like desktop, where all the files are mixed up. I made my information easy to access. I also like to download and store estonian music, because it's hard to find it on the net or from home, and if I have it all in my computer, I can always use it. Also, when I hear about
