Well, one passive house consultant in US reviewed a home, that was designed to earn top raiting from the Green Building Council, and yet he determined that it wouldn´t qualify as a passive house for several reasons it had too many windows but we all want to see the daylight, right? the windows didn´t absorb enough solar heat, and the L-shaped house, isn´t a simple cube. So it must be rahther difficult to build one of those. As you noticed I mostly mentioned only the problems that may come with building a passive house, and that´s because you probably already know the positives the environmental, social benefits and over time a definite financial win. In the end there are exterior finishing, consists of weather shield, ventilation gap and lining boards. Internal walls are similar, but there are blasterboard on both sides what are also painted. Floors are important elements of house, because they must provide an accetable surface, sound and thermal insulation, and also carry and transfer imposed and dead loads.
