If you have created something, then try to be open minded

Teacher: O'Mahony V.PG 11A 09.03.2009 This written essay here is talking about my thoughts and facts of life, what is around us. First I thought that why is always easier to create something but to destroy is much harder. Exactly there have been so many wars in history. Everybody wanted to own a lot of countries and others had to fight for their created country. Also they started to teach young people to kill and protect their country with killing enemies. Also government tried to keep a low profile, if there were some wars in state. These are my thoughts of creating and keeping something. In the old times were many wars. Some states predominated over other weaker countries or states. Weaker countries had created their own and loved country and they wanted to live like that for a long time. But also stronger countries wanted to broaden their boards and become bigger than other strong states. I think that little countries scared. I

The Relations Between The USA and Iraq

Many people think that the U.S and Iraq have been enemies forever, but it is not so. The United States has supported Iraq in war and I am going to find out why and how. At some stage their relations got really bad and it led to the invasion of Iraq by the U.S. During the writing I am also going to find out how are the diplomatic relations between them nowadays. History Pre-1980s In 1963, the United States backed a coup against the government of Iraq headed by General Abdul Karim Qassim, who five years earlier had deposed the Western-allied Iraqi monarchy. The US was concerned about the growing influence of Communist Iraqi government officials under his administration, as well as his threats to invade Kuwait, which almost caused a war between Iraq and England. Former CIA Near East Division Chief James Chritchfield maintains that the CIA played

Solomon Islands

Religion The religion of Solomon Islands is about 97% Christian. The remaining 3% practice indigenous religious beliefs. According to the most recent reports, Islam in the Solomon Islands is made up of approximately 350 Muslims. Christianity was brought to the country in the 19th and early 20th centuries by missionaries. Some foreign missionaries continue to work in the country. Except for the Roman Catholic Church. The Constitution provides for freedom of religion, and the Government generally respects this right in practice. The US government received no reports of societal abuses or discrimination based on religious belief or practice in 2007. Local products Beginning in the early 1990s, small-scale industries were encouraged, resulting in goods that are sold mostly in the local area at retail and wholesale stores. Examples of these locally produced products are beer, furniture, and noodles. Otherwise, agricultural products have been the main commodities for sale.

Essay about England

As India was so far away from Great Britain, the British officials basically spent their life there and instead of trying to alter some of their lowers they tried to fit in. the same thing occurred in Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Of course the situation was a bit different in smaller colonies where the population was smaller and also more easily manageable. All the bigger colonies had complete internal self-government but recognized the overall authority of the British government. All the changes that took place in Britain were carried to its subjects as well in one way or another. Everything that took place in the mother country reflected to its subjects as well. After the World War II, in 1947 India gained its independence and a new state of Pakistan was simultaneously created which led to a wave of decolonisation and several colonies became independent and sovereign states. The London declaration of 1949 was a base to the developing of the modern Commonwealth

In 1657, he refused the offer of the crown. At home Cromwell reorganised the national church, established Puritanism, readmitted Jews into Britain and presided over a certain degree of religious tolerance. Abroad, he ended the war with Portugal (1653) and Holland (1654) and allied with France against Spain, defeating the Spanish at the Battle of the Dunes (1658). Cromwell died on 3 September 1658 in London. The Restoration When Cromwell died, he, his system of government and the puritan ethics that went with it had become so unpopular that the son of he executed king was asked to return and take the throne. So in 1660 Parliament offered to restore the monarchy if Charles would agree to concessions for religious toleration and a general amnesty. Charles was not as hard-headed as his father, and he agreed to the proposals. He returned to London on a wave of popular support to be crowned Charles II (1660-85). maximal satisfaction to the individual. Eudemonism replaces the word satisfaction by happiness. The difference between the two words is that satisfaction usually is short- term and focuses more on the senses. Happiness is something long-term and is more 'part' of a person than an experience its senses undergo. Utilitarianism believes a certain action should result in maximum happiness for the biggest group of people. The government should always think of the interests of the population. Eudemonism and hedonism are however more focused on the individual. Here, classical utilitarianism 1 justifications will be discussed (Ibid.).
