Seal kohtuvad külm õhk polaarsetelt laiuskraadidelt ja soe õhk troopilistelt laiustelt. Tsükloni lähenedes langeb õhurõhk, pilvisus tiheneb, algavad sajud. Tuulte suund põhjapoolkeral on keskmest vastupäeva. Tsükloni piires kujunevad selgelt välja frondid: soe front tähistab pealetungiva sooja õhu piiri, külm front, mis liigub tavaliselt kiiremini, pealetungiva külma õhu piiri. Ilmakaartidel tähistatakse neid vastavalt punase ja sinisega. Antitsüklonid ehk kõrgrõhualad tekivad kõige sagedamini Skandinaavias, Soomes või teistes Läänemere maades või ka Venemaa Euroopa-osas. Eriti soodsad tingimused selleks on siis, kui jahedam õhumass voolab soojale aluspinnale (advektiivne konvektsioon). Jahe õhk soojeneb kiiresti ja kerkib. Kondensatsioonitasapinnani jõudes, kus asub ka umbes pilvede alumine piir (500– 500 m kõrgusel) veeaur kondenseerub ja tekivad rünkpilved. 2. Õhu tõus frontaalpindadel Front on maapinna suhtes kaldu ning soe/soojem õhk asub külma/jahedama õhu peal. Kordamisküsimused "Eesti foneetikas ja fonoloogias" A-, B- ja C-rühmale 1. Millistest faasidest koosneb kõige lihtsam kõneakt? Esimene etapp on sõnumi kodeerimine, kõnelejal on mõte midagi öelda, mõtestamine ja keelendamine see on lingvistiline tasand. Teises etapis toimub sõnumi tootmine, füsioloogiline tegevus, aktiveerub umbes 100 lihast artikulatoorne foneetika. Kolmas etapp: häälelaine, sõnum levib signaalina akustiline foneetika. Joonisel on mustade nooltega tähistatud süsteemisiin System Bus, mis ühendab omavahel mikroprotsessorit, L2 vahemälu ning silda Bridge. Kuna sellise skeemi korral 1 Joonis 3 Sisemised siinid 14 puudus otseühendus protsessori ja põhimälu Main Memory vahel (protsessor sai andmeid ainult läbi L2 vahemälu), siis asendati protsessoris Pentium II süsteemisiin kahe iseseisva siiniga Backside Bus (BSB) ja Front Side Bus (FSB) (joonisel valged nooled).
