Napoleon Bonaparte Lapsepõlv Sünninimega Napoleone Buonaparte sündis 15.augustil 1769.aastal Ajaccio Korsikal. Kui ta oma võimuga esiletõusis, siis tahtis ta muuta oma nime prantsuse päraseks ehk muutis oma nime Napoleon Bonaparte. Napoleon oli väikeaadliku Carlo Maria di Buonaparte ja tema naise Matia Letizia Ramolino poeg. Lapsepõlves oli ta Korsika tuline patrioot, kuna saar oli alles mõni aasta enne tema sündi langenud Prantsusmaa kätte. Kuid hiljem loobus ta nendest põhimõtetest ning temast sai hoopis prantsuse sõjaväelane. Elulugu 1786.aastal lõpetas ta sõjakooli ning temast sai suurtükiväe ohvitser.
