ThatÅ› what friends are for

That what friends are for Friend is a person who accepts you for who you are and not because what you have, a person who corrects you when you are wrong and shares with you your good moments, as well the bad ones. That's what friendship means. The purpose of my article is to describe my friendship. To begin with, friendship is not made overnight, it took years for us to become friends. We had known each other for over four years but then we did not socialize with each other. We started to interact more after fifth grade. Now we have been friends for seven years. Secondly, the best words to describe my friend are helpful, confident, cautious, patient, tolerant all the qualities that a friend should have. He listen me if I have complicated situations and supports me in every way when it is necessary. Lastly, I am glad that I have a friend in my life. We are not only friends at school but we see

Thanksgiving

TOPIC 4 Thanksgiving In the United States, the fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day. It is usually a family day celebrated with big dinners. On this day, Americans give thanks for the blessings they have enjoyed during the year The first Thanksgiving was held in Plymouth in the 17th century. The people of Plymouth had come to America from England. In their native land they had been called Puritans, but they called themselves Pilgrims. When the Pilgrims landed in America they were poorly trained to cope with life in the wilderness. One spring morning an Indian came into the little village of Plymouth . Later, he brought The Indian chief, who gave gifts and offered assistance. The Indians taught the Pilgrims how to hunt, fish and grow food. They also taught them, how to use fish for fertilizer in growing corn, pumpkin and beans. The Pilgrims had a good harvest. Governor William Bradford issued a proclamation establishin...

Avangardism

Avangardism Muusika pärast II maailmasõda Esile kerkis uus põlvkond heliloojaid, kes vastandusid silmatorkavalt eelnevatele. Rowan Atkinson elulugu inglise keeles

He’s an English actor, comedian, and screenwriter who is best known for his work on the sitcoms Mr. Bean and Blackadder. He has been listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest actors in British comedy and amongst the top 50 comedians ever, in a 2005 poll of fellow comedians. Although he'd first appeared at Edinburgh when he was 17, Atkinson was spotted at the 1976 Festival by television producer John Lloyd, who went on to produce him in his first starring role - as one of the four members of the ’Not The Nine O'Clock News’ sketch team. This was followed by the huge success of Blackadder and its sequels which propelled Atkinson to star status. He then went on to create Mr Bean. A walking disaster, Bean was purely physical comedy, the opposite of Edmund Blackadder's polished dialogue. This clumsy character was a huge success and became another national treasure. Atkinson's other characters rely more heavily on language. Atkinson often plays authority

But we don't know much about them. The Romans built houses, a port and a bridge over the river and named the place Londinium. The bridge which was built by the Romans was later known as London Bridge and it was built in stone in 1176. London soon became the largest city in England and by the time of the Norman Conquest in 1066 it had become the most important city in Britain. It grew area and population until September 1666, when the Great fire destroyed four fifths of the wooden buildings in the City. The fire began in the kitchen of the King's baker in Pudding Lane and lasted for five days. By now London is a city of seven million people covering over 1,5 square miles. Nowadays the population of London is made up of the people of very many nationalities. It is a popular place to live because there is something new to see and do every day.

centuries, from eleventh to seventeenth centuries. The political history of British Isles over the past 800 years has been largely one of reducing the power of the monarchy and transferring authority to a London-based Parliament as the sovereign legislative body for all of Britain. This development has resulted in political, social and religious conflicts, as well as evolving governmental and constitutional institutions. The early political history of the British Isles is the story of four independent countries (England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland), but a dominant English political and military expansionism over the century. Near the end of the Middle Ages, the role of government in England underwent many changes. From the Magna Carta to the creation of the English Parliament, England laid the foundation for representative government and regulated sovereignty. German Federal Election, 2009

The opinion polls before the elections suggested that Angelina Merkel would keep the top job and she did. The Christian Democrats won with 33% of the votes. The Christian Democratic Union, the Christian Social Union of Bavaria, and the Free Democratic Party have announced their intention to form a centre-right government with Angela Merkel continuing as the Chancellor. It is said that Angelina Merkel is the biggest poker face in German politics. In her four years as chancellor she has outmanouvered her opponents and become the country's most popular politician and as the German economy is recovering from recession, the people see her as a safe pair of hands. With Angela Merkel as popular as she is, you might think that the result is a for gone conclusion, but in Germany people don't vote directly for a chancellor, they vote for a party and Angelina Merkel's party is not as nearly as popular as she is.

Modern issues

a clean water is a serious issue for 3rd world countries. 3rd world countries might have an access to water, but not to clean water. It is important to have a clean water, because there are a lot of dangerous diseases in dirty water. It's a problem, which needs to be solved as quickly as possible. Another problem is an access to good food. About 21,000 people die every day of hunger, or hunger-related causes. This is one person every four seconds. Most of them are children. We already grow enough food for 10 billion people, so the problem isn't the food itself, but the transport and access. Every life is important, and to not pay attention to such topics is just selfish. There are countless number of issues that need to be solved. We have to use all the rights given to us, and use them in positive way. Sometimes, we don't notice all the simple things around us, such as clean water and good food

Friends and Friendship

Dear listeners, From young age, people are taught that friendship is very important and you have to look after your mates. But people understand it differently. Some make good friends with everyone, but others find one true friend to be nice with. Is this one friend then better than thousands? My best friends were left in kindergarten. The four of us were invincible. We did everything together and we were enough for each other we didn't let other children to our games. In games as well as in learning, I had 3 great supporters and everything was easy and fun with them. Everyone grows up, so did I and my buddies. Unfortunately we grew apart, because it is hard to meet between all the schoolwork and hobbies. Few appointments at primary school are completely gone now and all of us have found new friends.

There are no large mammals, the key herbivores are reptiles, and the top predators are birds and snakes. My Ideal House - Kirjand

will offer you an opportunity to be friends with your neighbor. However, you never know who they might be they might throw dance parties in their house or be annoying in some other way. For the location, I would prefer residential area it would be nice and peaceful there. In addition to this, civilization and neighbors are close in case I needed them. My ideal house would be a spacious one. I would like three or four bedrooms, if that would be possible. One of them would be master bedroom, another one would be for guests and the remaining one or two would be nurseries. I would also want my house to have dining room as well as kitchen, a living room, an office and/or library and a pool in the backyard. Generally, the house must be comfortable, if not luxurious, and quite well-maintained. It doesn't have to be fully furnished, as it would be even more exciting to furnish it by myself. However,

About Peter I House Museum

Therefore the protection of the new border areas became the priority of the ruler and he paid a lot of attention to the reconstruction of ports in Tallinn and Paldiski and visited Tallinn several times. Together with the site of the would-be palace, a summer estate and a 17th-century cottage that had belonged to town councillor von Drenteln were purchased for the emperor's use in 1713. The small cottage was enlarged with a wing and the outcome was a building with a hall, a kitchen and four rooms. The small summer residence was in use until the emperor's death. The succeeding rulers used the Palace of Kadriorg that had been completed only after Peter's death and the small building was neglected. The building was restored at the order of Emperor Alexander I after he visited Tallinn in 1804. The wing, however, was not. The kitchen was reconstructed and a dining room was built above it on the first floor that had not existed before.
