There are no snakes and only one reptile native to Ireland, the common lizard. There are three amphibians, the common frog, the smooth newt and the natterjack toad. Certain marine turtle species appear regularly off the south west coast but do not come ashore. Lühireferaat Rastafarianism

2. Rastafarianism 2.1. Ajalugu Rastafarianism, samuti tuntud ka kui rastafari, rastafariaanlus ning rasta, on vaeste neegrite hulgas tekkinud usuline äratusliikumine. Rastafarianismi nimetus tuleneb Haile Selassie I kroonimiseelsest nimest ras Tafari Makonnen. Võrreldes teiste usunditega, on rastafarianism väga uus usund. Ta kutsus Aafrika päritoluga in...

Art week

Pictures" which tells the story of the theme country. At the opening ceremony, people from embassy come to congratulate and thank the students for their efforts of making such a big event happen. There´s also Art Week´s café where traditional food is served. Traditionally Art Week ends with costume party where organizing class performs with their own play. Also they pass on the torch to next organizing class by giving them the Art Weeks flag. This year´s theme country was Japan. The school was decorated with symbolic things from Japan. There was a handmade Torii in the lobby. Art Weeks café was in atrium where 11c did very good job. My favourite food was sushi which I believe was made by themselves. There were many activities in which students could participate. I took part in language lesson, origami lesson, animation workshop where I made my own little cartoon. I also went to a lecture in TTU about robots from Japan

European Union

Symbols Flag It is the symbol not only of the European Union but also of Europe's unity and identity in a wider sense. The circle of gold stars represents solidarity and harmony between the peoples of Europe. The number of stars has nothing to do with the number of member states. There are twelve stars because this number is traditionally the symbol of perfection, completeness and unity. So the flag therefore remains unchanged despited of EU enlargements. Anthem This is the anthem not only of the European Union but also of Europe in a wider sense. The melody comes from the Ninth Symphony, what is composed in 1823 by Ludwig Van Beethoven. In 1972, the Council of Europe took Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" theme as its anthem. It's without words. Euro The euro is the legal tender for around 329 million people in 16 EU countries

the seabed. The double or Spanish system is the same but it has a second, safety line. It is used in areas where strong currents and rough floors otherwise cause high gear loss. The safety line is unweighted and floats above the main line, attached at several points. This allows the main line to be retrieved even if it breaks. Figure. Demersal (bottom set) longline with anchor (a), buoy line (bl), buoys (b) and marker buoys (mb) with weight (w) and flag. Redrawn from Bjordal and Lokkeborg 1996. 2. Semipelagic (põhjalähedane õngejada) Three methods are employed. The most widely used method involves lines with buoys and buoylines of variable lengths (Fig. 2). Weights are used to keep the line from drifting from its midwater position The second method is the only "throwaway" gear, with a thin monofilament mainline attached to many floats. All floats are hauled before the line is hauled, resulting in irreparably tangled lines

leaves you in Thailand. I have been in Thailand twice, but I haven't visited the capital and also the largest city of Thailand - Bangkok. I have been in the largest island of Thailand - Phuket - which is popular tourists destination because of its beautiful white sandy beaches and palm- trees. The Kingdom of Thailand in general draws more visitors than any other country in Southeast Asia. The population of Thailand is 64 million. The Ssymbols of Thailand are: · The Thailand Flag (which contains of three colours-red, white and blue); · Stubas  monuments dedicated to Buddha (stuba-studded mountains can be found of Mae Hong Son and the verdant limestone islands of the Andaman Sea); · Thai Boxing(contents of which they promote in the streets with loudspeakers); · Tuk Tuks (which are very funny taxies, with no windows and doors. Usually they are red and could be found in different shapes);
