Australia.

Australia comprises a land area of 7 686 850 square kilometres. Its population is about 21,3 million people. Australia's capital is Canberra. The national language is English. The official name of it is the Commonwealth of Australia. It's divided into six states and two territories: New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and Northern Territory. Symbols: Australia had the British flag as their official flag until 1901, when the Commonwealth of Australia was formed. Over 30 000 entries attracted the official competition. Five of them, which contained almost identical designs, were placed equally first. The Australian flag symbolises Australia's historical links with Britain, because it has British flag on it, and Australia's location in the southern hemisphere, because it has stars of the Southern Cross on it

Viljandi

A hiking path runs around the lake and it can be used for recreational sports all year round. Since the year 1928, a run around Lake Viljandi has taken place on the first day of May every year. Tennis courts, cafes, playgrounds, diving towers, boat rental and catamaran trips are available by the lake. In winter, people can enjoy a snow park and test their skills at snow-tubing. Flag and coat of arms Viljandi's flag is a simple light blue over white. I don't know the significance of the colours (if any), but they are probably derived from the coat of arms. The arms are a white (and golden) flower on a blue field. Trepimägi The stairs of Trepimägi, built during the turn of the century to improve the connection between the town and the lake, start right from beside the Town Hall. There are five flights and 158 steps. Water Tower

You can see one of them on the south-west corner of the castle -it´s Pikk Hermann – quite a slender (considering the average thickness of the walls – 2,9 m) 49-metre watch-tower from the year 1371. The tower consists of ten internal floors and a viewing platform at the top with a 215-step staircase leading to it. It’s commonly recognised that whoever’s flag flies on top of this tower is the ruler of Estonia. The Estonian flag was flown here in 1884, 34 years before the country was to become independent. Subsequent conquerors always marked their success by raising a flag here. Thus both German and Soviet flags have been seen there. Today the national tricolor is hoisted at sunrise (but not earlier than 7 am) and lowered at sunset (but not later than 10pm), except at midsummer when it´s not lowered at all on the night of June 23/24.
