based on six levels which include the: nursery school, infant school, junior school, secondary school, 6th form and university or college. What is similar for both systems is that the first level of education starts at age of three. While in Estonia this level is called Kindergarten, then in Britain it is called Nursery school. Kindergarten is for children´s from age three to six, but Nursery school is for children´s three to four. Differently from Estonian system, at age of five to seven, British children ´s go to Infant school. This is called year one, year two and year three and all these three years are called key one. General Brehon Somervell provided the major motive power behind the project;[1] Colonel Leslie Groves (whose administrative ability, drive, and forcefulness led to his nomination to head the Manhattan Project in 1942) and Major Clarence Renshaw were responsible for overseeing the project for the Army. The Pentagon is the world's largest office building. It houses approximately 23,000 military and civilian employees and about 3,000 non-defense support personnel. It has five sides, five floors above ground (plus two basement levels), and five ring corridors per floor with a total of 17.5 miles (28.2 km)[3] of corridors. The Pentagon includes a five-acre (20,000 m²) central plaza, which is shaped like a pentagon and informally known as "ground zero", a nickname originating during the Cold War and based on the presumption that the Soviet Union would target one or more nuclear missiles at this central location.

Honda Family

Honda Family Once upon a time there lived five cars. All cars were brothers and they were Honda family. White car's name was Civic, blue car's name was Accord, black car's name was Prelude, grey car's name was CRX and red car's name was Jazz. All ten years they had driven all around the world, but now they shouldn't go anywhere, because they didn't have a place, where five cars hadn't been. They thought that they will go there, where all life began, to Japan. Japan was much bigger, than it was ten years ago. They thought that now they should live usual life, just like ohter cars in this world do. They decided to live in Tokyo. Tokyo was a big city then and they lived very individuaal life in the garage. In Tokyo, there was a car event. The car event's name was Tokyo Drift. One day, five cars met each other and they decided to make career together

Before going to school american children attend preschool (selectively). Years 5-6 american children attend kindergarden, which is a preparation for the first grade. Most children enter the public education system around ages five or six. Children are assigned into year groups known as grades, beginning with preschool, followed by kindergarten and culminating in twelfth grade. The American educational system comprises 12 grades of study over 12 calendar years of primary and secondary education before graduating and becoming eligible for college admission. Television also broadcasts programmes that help explain a story or subject.Such programmes include documentaries and interview programmes. Television allows one to follow the much more real science and politics and offers an endless series of programmes which are both instructive and stimulating. The most distant countries and the strangest costumes are brought right into the sitting-room. Watching TV is almost certainly the biggest leisure pastime in Britain. At the moment there are five main national channels : BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel Four and Channel Five. National Tv gets its money from two main sources . the BBC channels are mainly financed by a compulsory licence fee. There is no advertising on the BBC. On the other hand, ITV and Channels Four and Five rely on advertising for their survival. Generally speaking, BBC1 and ITV produce and show programmes of wider appeal, while BBC2 and Channel 4 cater more for minority interests and have a strong cultural component. Channel

2. a) The United Nations was thought to be more successful because ( unlike in the League of Nations ) all of the largest nations joined and they had armed force at its disposal. All the winning and neutral countries were members and all of them could be called on to provide troops to deal with aggression. b) The Security council was important because they met regulary and dealt with crises. The original members were Britain, the USA , the USSR, France and China, because they were the five victors in the II World War. The other six seats were given to states in rotation. The five victors also have extra power so they can cancel (veto) the UN's decisions ( any decision has to be passed by at least seven members and five of them have to be the so called'' Big Five''). I think it was allowed because those five were the major powers of the world on what the peace of the world depended . c) The specialized Agencies of the United Nations were the International Telecommunications

1984 book conclusion

1948 is book that has many ideas twisted together. Lovestory, fears, how Winston whose daily work is rewriting history tries to rebel by falling in love to Julia, altough she isn´t his taste. This book was very interesting because there are many connections to real life for example Big Brother evokes to the cult of personality buillt up around Joseph Stalin, also Winston´s job „revising history“ is based on the Stalinist habit of airbrushing images of „fallen“ people from group photographs and removing references to them in books and newspapers. The thought police is based on the NKVD and the tortures of the Minstry of Love evoke the procedures used by the NKVD. Actually the statement „2+2=5“ that Winston had to beliece was a communist party slogan from the second five-year plan, in which they wanted to full five-year plan in four years. In my opinion it goeds together with nowadays- that people want to get more and faster, they do no...

Pride and Prejudice Book report

Pride and Prejudice is a humorous story of love and life among English gentility. At first the book was called "First impressions" and this gives a better expression to the requests of the author, than the later heading. People meet, do not understand each other and communication does not offer joy either. So this is contrary to love at first sight. It is a tale of love and values in the class-conscious England of the late 18th century. It is a story of five sisters and their lives. It is a story through the dangerous, exciting and loving feelings of the characters. The Bennets five daughters - the beautiful Jane, the clever Elizabeth, the bookish Mary, the immature Kitty and the wild Lydia - have been raised by their mother with one purpose in life: finding a husband. Mr. Bennet is the owner of the medium-sized Longbourn estate in Hertfordshire. He is an intelligent man, who dislikes the frivolity of his wife and three younger daughters

Lõpuks läkski Louis New Yorki ja liitus Fletcher Hendersoni orkestriga, kus ta mängis 13 kuud. New Yorgi ajal tegi Armstrong mitmeid laule koos tuntud bluesi mängijatega. Hot Five´i ja Hot Seven´it peetakse senini absoluutseks dsässi klassikaks. 1931. aasta juunis läks Armstrong tagasi New Orelansi, kus teda tervitati nagu kangelast.

The Republic of Cameroon

Education · Most children have access to free, state-run schools or private and religious facilities. The educational system is a mixture of British and French precedentswith most instruction in English or French. · Seven state-run universities serve Cameroon's student population. More than 60,000 students were enrolled for the 19981999 school year. · Since 1990, private institutions have sprung up in at least five regions. The Father of Flag Day

articles advocating recognition of the June 14th adoption of the Stars and Stripes. In the third Saturday in June, 1894, , the first general public school children's celebration of Flag Day in Chicago was held in Douglas, Garfield, Humboldt, Lincoln, and Washington Parks, with more than 300,000 children participating. These observances were held in the five parks again the next year, also on the third Saturday of June. In the years that followed, 36 Governors, scores of mayors and five Presidents of the United States sent delegates and credentials agreeing that Flag Day should be observed in all states of the Union on the actual June 14 anniversary of the adoption of the flag .By 1916 flag ceremonies on June 14 had become so prevalent that President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation establishing Flag Day as an annual national event. college tournament championship game. He played two more seasons at UNC. He also played for the United States team in the 1984 Olympic Games. In 1984, Jordan entered the NBA player draft. He was chosen by the Chicago Bulls. NBA LEGEND Jordan was a star from his first season with the Bulls. He was a scoring machine. The Bulls were not one of the NBA’s better teams, but they gradually improved. They made the NBA playoffs in their first five seasons with Jordan. However, they failed to make the NBA championship finals. In 1989, Phil Jackson became the Bulls’ head coach. Under Jackson, Jordan became more of a team player, although he remained the NBA’s leading scorer. Jordan developed an incredible “court sense.” He knew where every player was on the basketball court, and what was the best play for the circumstances. In the 1990-1991 season, the Bulls won their first of three straight NBA championships.

Ways of expressing the Future

Present Continuous Present Continuous describes fixed arrangements, especially social and travel arrangements. A time reference is usually included. I’m meeting Mary at 5 o’clock. John’s seeing his dentist tomorrow. 3 Present Simple 1. We use the Present Simple for future when we are talking about a timetable, usually a public one such as a train timetable. The train leaves at five twenty-five tomorrow morning. The football match starts at half past five. I’ve got the tour details here. We spend three days in Rome. 2. Present Simple is also used to describe fixed events which are not simply the wishes of the speaker. Tom retires in three years. It's all go - next week I have my operation; then the week after that I go on holiday... 3. Similarly, calendar references use the Present Simple. Christmas is on a Tuesday next year.
