Advertising is good for customers, because otherwise they wouldn't know about new products, that different companies are offering. Advertising also keeps the prices lower, for example, when we watch TV and we see 3 different types of commercials based on the same product, then we choose the cheapest product. It means, that every company wants to sell, but for selling they have to keep prices as low as possible. We very often think the same about life, things and people. We share very many viewpoints and agree on so many things. There is always something to talk about and fun never ends. It's sometimes great to have somebody who shares your ideas. Then you know that you are not alone and you can complain to someone who really understands. On the other hand, I can also see, when looking at my friendships, that having the same ideas and thoughts can sometimes be disturbing and boring. I like to be different. I like to have my own thoughts and understandings. It can be very boring do have someone who constantly agrees on everything I say or do. It's good to have disputes and different viewpoints. Learning foreign language - Why is it necessary? I think learning different languages are very important if you want to see world and people abroad. It makes your life easier if you can learn some larger language than Estonian. Estonian is very little language and example is quite hard to get god job if you cannot speak some world language. The climate in Australia is very warm and that's why enjoying life there feels so great. Most young people go there with a group of friends. They work for some time and then start to spend earned money. They drive around, try new things and party a lot. Some young settle down there and start their own family. Some get new acquaintances and even work themselves up and get rich. Living in Australia isn't very expensive, some young stay even in a hotel. But living style and culture are different. This difference and distance attracts young like honey flies. Australia is many times bigger than Estonia. And that also means more opportunities, in many different fields. In Estonia there is quite hard to find or get a job, you need to have experience. But experience is exactly what young people don't have. Do you consider yourself more functionalist or more conflict theorist? Please explain why? Functionalism and conflict theory are very different views of society, but they are not exactly opposites. Both have arguments, that make people think about the society they live in and both have theorists who critize each other. In my opinion, none of the theories are completely wrong but I do tend to agree with people on the conflict theory side. Firstly, functionalism ignores inequality and focuses too much on the positive functions in society.
Dear Meg I'm very glad to have your letter. We haven't seen each other for years. I really love music. My favourite style is house and dubstep but i listen other styles too. It depends of my moods. Unfortunately i haven't been at foreign country artists concerts. I have been at different Estonia artists concerts. For example in Võru were TELE2 GoLive concert and there were different artists. I really liked this concert and my favourite singer there was Eda-Ines Etti. I don't have my favourite artist but i defenitly want to go to Rihanna's or Lady Gaga's concert. I like them music much.
