On higher levels meat eating was discouraged and rejected. Our qouta is to eat what nature and God has arranged for us through nature we are prasadians. Why to be a prasadian? The perfection of life is not just to avoid karmic entanglement -less or more, it is to acknowledge & love the Lord.
