Companies should be required to allocate a certain percentage of these positions to women. To what extent do you agree? In the 21st century it is all about gender equality and every individual wants to achieve high level position in their work place. In the past, women, in many societies, had less rights and privileges than men. The statement says that companies should give a certain number of higher positions to women. However, I do not agree with this requirement completely. Giving a certain percent of higher positions to women certainly is an easy solution but in my opinion it will bring even more sexism. It shows that women are somehow weaker, fragile and need help for everything. And this on the other hand, will cause a situation where females will receive less credit for their jobs, even if they do their work really well. Book review The Zahir Paulo Coelho 2005 331 pages Novel The novel is set in Paris and Kazakhstan. A renowed author discovers that his wife, Esther, has suddenly dissapeared leaving no trace. He gets obsessed of meeting his wife again. During the search of his wife, he meets Mikhail. The author learns the meaning of love, the power of destiny and what it means to follow your heart. During his journey, he is a completely different man. Finally he meets his wife, but everything has changed. I really enjoyed reading this book, because it was really instructive. The story was full of lessons and ethical matters to use in life. I am completely in love with the author, because he doesn't just tell the story, but keeps you thinking about it, and speaks with the readers through the words. I usually enjoy more books with action, but this book is one of the best novels I've read.
This man has sholder-length dark curly and very messy hair, which he has said only works on a man when you are famous, otherwise you would look like a mental illness. He has a short beard and is quite skinny and scruffy looking. Some people have even said that he looks effeminate and homeless. His style is quite hard to describe. Do you consider yourself more functionalist or more conflict theorist? Please explain why? Functionalism and conflict theory are very different views of society, but they are not exactly opposites. Both have arguments, that make people think about the society they live in and both have theorists who critize each other. In my opinion, none of the theories are completely wrong but I do tend to agree with people on the conflict theory side. Firstly, functionalism ignores inequality and focuses too much on the positive functions in society. the three weeks after Christmas holidays? Well, I've been to school for all those weeks. Last week we watched a really interesting film. The film was about secrets in our Universe. It made me feel more self- confident and I realized that the World is about me and what I want, not about what I will never archive or never get, because if I really want something and work for it, I know I will get what I want. Well, at least some of it. My view of life has changed completely. You definitely should watch it. It's educational and interesting at the same time! Besides it is even as a book. So you can read about that instead of watching the film. I've seen the book at the store, it wasn't very expensive, so I really recommend you to get the film or buy the book. Girl's family was completely amazed that the girl had so much courage and the wolf was so friendly. My best friends were left in kindergarten. The four of us were invincible. We did everything together and we were enough for each other we didn't let other children to our games. There are many advantages of studying abroad. For example it is a good opportunity to travel and get to know different cultures. An exchange student will also get more independent. Also it is a great way to study foreign language and broaden your outlooks. When people study abroad they make a lot of new friends, also some people have even found their love of life. However studying abroad is not easy. First months are hardest because it is a completely different environment, it takes people a lot of time before they feel comfortable in foreign country. Like I said before people have to work hard, because classes are in another language and if people who are not good in foreign language studying abroad might not be a good idea for them.
