For many people, money is the most important thing in the world

money is unimportant for me. ,,Money is for him the most important thing" - it is an belittling phrase. It does not apply to me, at least I hope that. But for who it applies? There are many people in the world, whose meaning of life is to gather money. They commit to the career and business. Maybe they do not have children and family, it will just waist time and energy. Opposite people could wonder, what life is that, but thanks to such business- sharks the world evolves. It is everyones free choice to set money to the first place in his life. I have no right to say what is wrong and what is right. Important is that you do not earn money in criminal way by robbery or cheating.

A letter to a friend describing a house for rent

Dear Michelle, Thank you for your letter, it was very nice to hear some good news from you. We're very glad that you are happy with the choice you made, by starting a new life abroad, with having many interesting chances there. You also wrote that you miss all of your friends and relatives, who you had to say goodbye to... Thinking of that, I have a marvellous suggestion for you! I know you've always wanted to have a nice summer cottage and why not to have it, here, in Estonia? I've found a lovely summerhouse for you! I also remember how much you adored these cute little hills we have in Estonia, so this

Summary Education

Education The education system is a little bit different in the UK than ours. For example they have go to school 2 years earlier than us. Primary school is for pupils aged 5-11. Though schooling is only compulsory from age 5 in the UK, children most commonly enter Reception Class aged 4 in the academic year in which they will reach their 5th birthday. Anglo - Saxon

Religion The indigenous pre-Christian belief system of the Anglo-Saxons was a form of Germanic paganism and therefore closely related to the Old Norse religion, as well as other Germanic pre-Christian cultures. Christianity gradually replaced the indigenous religion of the Saxons in England around the 7th and 8th centuries. Christianity was introduced into Northumbria and Mercia by monks from Ireland, but the Synod of Whitby settled the choice for Roman Christianity. As the new clerics became the chroniclers, the old religion was partially lost before it was recorded. Despite these prohibitions, numerous elements of the pre-Christian culture of the Anglo-Saxon people survived the Christianisation process. Dress materials Anglo-Saxon clothing usually utilized only three types of fabric. Wool was a coarse material which was used for most garments. Lower class people, such as slaves and poorer peasants

My future career

My future career. I often think about my future plans and career. Now I am studying at the secondary school. But after finishing school I try to enter at the university. It is very difficult for me to make the right choice of my future profession. There are many different professions and you can find exactly that which interests you. For example, waiter, manager, actress, lawyer, doctor and so on. To decide, what kind of work suits me, helps communication with adults, meetings with representatives of universities and large selection of useful literature. Also I need to think about how well I can do what I would like to do. In my opinion, very interesting and noble profession is a doctor. I understand that it is necessary to study a lot to become a doctor. You must have good knowledge of biology, chemistry and mathematics. I realize that I should know the foreign languages too. Of course, much will depend from my exams result. So now ...

5) How do you work under pressure? In school I learned a lot and hardly because my target was to graduate school as well as I can and I did it by my abilities. So working under pressure is in my blood since I was in school, therefore I hope that I am capable to do it. If I am in complex situation I inspires my-self to manage whit this problem and in the end I have resolved it. Also I have a sense of responsibility towards my work. 6) Why do you choose this field? I did this choice already in secondary school. I found out that I do not have the creativity of the creative work. So my favourites subjects were real substance only not physics. That was the reason way I went to the university, there I could specialize to the profession. I like working with numbers, I know that this job is not the easiest but there is something that pulls me into it.

Emprical social research

1.4. 1.5. Individual women make decisions whether to enter the labor for different reasons and ways. Importance of women´s individual preferences and her insistence should be taken under consideration. It cannot be assumed that women are only at home because of obstacles to labour force participation. Women are not necessarily exploited because they work in part-time low paid sectors, but rather that this is the result of choice to prioritize home life. Womens didn´t see themselves as exploited, instead they valued what work gave them: freedom, social networks, ability to escape the house and the power within the home. Individual women´s aspirations have to be investigated, rather than deduced from social policies or official ideologies. Full time work can be the result of contingent and almost random events in women´s life, rather than particular lifestyle

idea what it is that she's asking. Her brash sincerity earns the respect of the doctor who has previously resigned himself to a life of empty lectures and booze. Rita's character is a breath of fresh air for Bryant and he begins to care about someone, or something for that matter, for the first time since his wife left him. As each begins to wake up to life in their own way, the story comes to a close as an inspiring tale of self discovery and of the power choice that comes through education. In my opinion was Rita very freewheeling and acute oservations, and - let's be honest - by Rita herself, Frank also feels a deep sadness as he watches her warm impulsive reactions being replaced by the sort of cold analytical approach he so much loathes in other students and colleagues. Rita has a coal and she knews what she want next from world. I think that Frank was a little bit alccohol-lover and I do not like that he drank when he works.

Marriage is/is not an outdated institution

Thats why marriage has been left in the backround and the priority is building up a career. Secondly, (this time of century) nowadays couples are just living together instead of marriage, because it is easier that way. For example my two cousins and two neases (loovad) famlily, but not single one of them is married. It is almost like try-out, to see if living together will work out or not. Also if something goes wrong, then it takes less time and money to brake up. In my point of view the choice to live together without marriage may also be one of the reasons why people are so easygoing and give up so easlily. Thirdly, to get married in a church you need to be blessed, but there are less and less people who are blessed in this time of century. For example I am one of those people who is not blessed. This leaves only one more option and that is ordinary official ceremony registration. More and more my generation people are using the last method. For example one of my

He told my that he will give me the divorce over his dead body. So i desided to go the whole hog however he had no idea what i was planning. I moved out of the house and about month after that he received a letter that he must come to court. I didnt want to do this to him but he left me with no choice. So we went to court in spite of the fact that he tried to reach an agreement out of court. He is very bitter and tries to get me down but once he will get it back.

Learn From Mistakes, Improve Your Intelligence

" Keep calm and carry on! When you get overwhelmed by the failure, just take a break, deliberate it but whatever you do your trail of thoughts mustn't get affected by it. Still keeping focus on the problem will not only get it solved but it will keep you from causing new unnecessary problems. Now I ask, would you get wiser and improve your knowledge by learning from your mistakes, as to understand where have you gone wrong or would you be the one that thinks there's only one right choice and one answer to all dilemmas. At this very moment i'm writing this essay thinking will I get a polished grade or will my teacher give me an inadequate grade so I can improve my writing and debating skills for the better. So I would state, we find out more from our mistakes rather from our accomplishments.

This shows the wonderful work of the director. The different leves are combined very smoothly but it doesn't get boring, because of it's enthrilling action scenes, rudeness and drama.4 About the cast Jack Nicholson seems to be the perfect actor choice for the leading role. An Essay

The high school in Great Britain starts at age eleven, but in Estonia at about age fifteen. Biggest difference is that in Great Britain they prepare young people to get a job or continue studing, but in Estonia this is only first step of educational life. After primary school in Estonia you have two ways to walk: high school or industrial school, where they get profession. Youngsters in United States of America and Great Britain have easier to make choice choosing a profession, because there they start to prepare people to get a job very early. High schools in Estonia teaches every subject almost equally, so everyone have to study everything, except for some schools that are oriented to teach few subjects in depth (IT classes, art classes etc). It´s much easier to make future career plans and to find suitable profesion if school teaches how to manage in real life with practical activities like different projects, presentations and so on

Puritanism in John Winthrop "A model of Christian Charity"

” (Winthrop, 1996) Nothing is exaggerated and the common reader can understand the simplicity clearly. All this plain style together has the effect of elegant style. Of course, there are some exceptions as the example of many layered words – use of the metaphor of the ‘body’ to describe the community of Christians united in love. Preaching was based on everyday, daily experiences and figures from the scripture. Intention of this kind of choice of topics was to raise moral theology for the sake of previously mentioned covenant. “There is a time when a christian must sell all and give to the poor, as they did in the Apostles times” (Winthrop, 1996) is an example of preaching a lesson to this generation with a link to past. However, most of the images from the sermon are connected with the scripture, an example of this is “Secondly that he might haue the more occasion to

On friendship

no nearer to true friendship than if you choose them for commercial reasons. Besides, who are you that you should be setting a price upon your friendship? It is enough for any man that he has the divine power of making friends, and he must leave it to that power to determine who his friends shall be. For, though you may choose the virtuous to be your friends, they may not choose you; indeed, friendship cannot grow where there is any calculated choice. It comes, like sleep, when you are not thinking about it; and you should be grateful, without any misgiving, when it comes. So no man who knows what friendship is ever gave up a friend because he turns out to be disreputable. His only reason for giving up a friend is that he has ceased to care for him; and, when that happens, he should reproach himself for this mortal poverty of affection, not the friend for having proved unworthy

Tolerance and Diversity

type of culture has influences on both original cultures. So everybody wins from "diversity'' and receives a new cultural experience. Different people have dissimilar religion. They believe according to their beliefs. Usually people follow their religion and do not tolerate other beliefs. Such behavior may cause conflicts between the people with different religions, but tolerance is the keyword to avoid conflicts. Equality also plays a huge role in life, because everyone has a free choice to believe in everything they want. To have a better society we must be more tolerant. We shouldn't assume anything before not knowing the person. Only after getting accustomed to the individual we can make our decisions. People's opinion about different origins should be developed and improved in order to have a friendly and peaceful world. Drawing people's attention on them should be history and multinational countries our future.

Estonian and British Education System

Estonian and British Education System Estonian and British education system is not quite different. In Estonia, the education system is based on six levels which include the: kindergarten, primary school, basic school, secondary school and university or vocational school. In Britain, the education system is also based on six levels which include the: nursery school, infant school, junior school, secondary school, 6th form and university or college. What is similar for both systems is that the first level of education starts at age of three. While in Estonia this level is called Kindergarten, then in Britain it is called Nursery school. Kindergarten is for children´s from age three to six, but Nursery school is for children´s three to four. Differently from Estonian system, at age of five to seven, British children ´s go to Infant school. This is called year one, year two and year three and all these three...

They have helped create a world in which dissatisfaction leads to blame. Most victims of legal harassment will settle with money in order to avoid a lengthy and expensive trial. The defendant, however vast they may become, will be carried by his or her lawyer, working for a share of the profits. The ,,ambulance chasing" lawyers who are involved in this sort of legal chicanery get rich because when they win they can win simply billions. Innocent defendants know that they have a choice: they either spend years fighting the case or else they settle out of court. Many small businessmen have gone bust because they cannot afford the premiums they've been expected to pay. Public services have deteriorated still further as central and local governments are forced to spend an increasing amount of money and time fighting or settling legal battles brought by people who have seen a small piece of misfortune as an opportunity to get rich quick.

disapproval in society. Jack was envious of Julie’s attention to Tom. Tom had to pretend to be in infancy to cope with loss of his mother. Although he was still a boy who sometimes peed in his bed, playing a baby helped him to forget responsibilities and problems, and find again motherly love in Julie. Tom soon forgot his real mother as something that was natural but he can not be blamed for that because it seems like he had not had any other choice. Tom was a neutral character for me who was part of a bigger puzzle. He did not do anything wrong, just the series of things he was supposed to do as a family member. And I kind of feel sorry for him that he had to suffer as a child and by suffering I mean from perspective of adult. He had to have both parents to grow up with and happy childhood but was deprived of this.

WHAT IS A LOAN AGREEMENT?

usually takes place when the venture turns profits. Lenders also benefit from demand loans, as they are both lucrative and secure. The longer it takes the borrower to repay the loan, the more they owe in interest. Demand loans are also secure in case of emergency, the lender can demand repayment rather than wait until a set maturity date. The same is true if they believe there is a chance the borrower falls on hard times or are avoiding repayment. A demand loan is also a good choice of lenders who want to minimize potential losses. Lenders can demand payments if they suspecting that the borrower will undertake projects resulting in losses. ADVANTAGES FOR BUSINESSES Business ventures benefit from demand loans. As an additional advantage, businesses can have two or more loans at a time. This can happen if the borrower has an outstanding payback history. These loans are also easier to qualify compared to standard loans. REFERENCES wikipedia.org canadalegal.com

People need to stop bulling to make the world a better place. The second thing I would do is lessen homework. Teachers give us homework in 5 days of the week. If we want to suceed then we have no choice to do homework. But sometimes we get too much of it. We don't have the strenght or skills to do them. What does it cause? It causes us a lot of stress and anxiety. It effects us in many ways. For example students might be unable to sleep. Studying and thinking about a lot of things makes our brain to wake up and when we suddenly go to bed to have some sleep, then our brain don't let us to. After the World War II, in 1947 India gained its independence and a new state of Pakistan was simultaneously created which led to a wave of decolonisation and several colonies became independent and sovereign states. The London declaration of 1949 was a base to the developing of the modern Commonwealth. Now the joining of the Commonwealth became a natural choice for many new nations that were emerging out of the decolonisation process of the 1950s and 1960s. Although the members of the Commonwealth are technically a part of it, they rule themselves and just receive aid from the organization. The main difference between the Commonwealth of today and the British Empire lies in the fact that nowadays the countries join the Commonwealth from their own free will. Kärt Peterson

The article is meant to help those who suffer from such discrimination to improve their situation, and those who want to start a new life forgetting about their past abuse of own appearance. Beauty is meant to serve to greater good, so a person always has a choice. And it is: to be good and respectable, but use fair ways that sometimes can be hard, or to go the easy way of manipulating people by using your gift, such as appearance. As for those, who suffer from being "one out of the crowd", one can advice to show that you are special in a different kind of way. There must be a special talent that makes you a credit to your parents. Anyhow, we are to celebrate beauty, if it deserves it and to try to get it on the right track if its direction is messed up.

George Sand

close friends. She was engaged in an intimate friendship with actress Marie Dorval, which led to widespread but unconfirmed rumors of a lesbian affair. There is a Carthusian monastery of Valldemossa in Majorca, where she spent the winter of 183839 with Chopin and her children. This trip to Majorca was described by her in A Winter in Majorca, published in 1855. Chopin left her two years before his death, because of a family disturbance. He supported her daughter Solange's marriage choice, which had caused Sand to disown the daughter. Through manipulation, Sand attempted to isolate Chopin in Majorca which caused him ill health which led to his death. Writing career Sand and Jules Sandeau published a few stories in co-operation, signing them "Jules Sand." She adopted, for her first independent novel Indiana (1832) , the pen name that made her famous George Sand. Her first published novel, Rose et Blanche (1831), was written in collaboration with Jules Sandeau.

The picture of Dorian Gray

look for almost 20 years and not get older. After that, Dorian decides to get his life back on track, but the picture still gets older day by day. He gets frustrated and stabs a knife into the picture. That way Dorian Gray dies an awfully old man laying on the floor, a knife stabbed to his heart. But the man on the picture is young again. I think the book is good an excellent way of extending our vocabulary by reading. Two educational things combined. But it's also bad- it is a bad book choice for a first-time English reader. It is full with descriptions in such details, so many complexed word and expressions. Those made reading very complicated. Most of the time it wasn't reading, it was translating the words or googelling for the meanings of the fictional expressions. Adjectives are good, but when there are so many of them combined and in a foreign language..it made it painful. Also, the book was in older English, which made it even more difficult. I would recommend this

appliances that utilize electricity, heat, and light. Dewey (1938) explains: The scientific method is the only authentic means at our command for getting at the significance of our everyday experiences of the world in which we live. It means that scientific method provides a working pattern of the way in which and the conditions under which experiences are used to lead ever onward and outward. . . . Consequently, whatever the level of experience, we have no choice but either to operate in accord with the pattern it provides or else to neglect the place of intelligence in the development and control of a living and moving experience. (p. 88) Dewey (1938) points out that an experience that does not tend to the knowledge of facts, the acquisition of new ideas, and to the orderly arrangement of them, is an experience that is not educative. He affirms the idea that the principle of organization is not foreign to experience, but rather they go together

I prefer to listen to the views of others and express mine. In other words, I am always ready to make a compromise for successful collaboration. For instance, during group work, I always have a lot of ideas how the material can be logically presented. Taking into account and respecting the opinions of others, I try each time adjust to the choice of the group, and even ready for improvisation. Regarding the laboratory works, I tend to distribute work so that I was comfortable to work and to my partner. It should be noted that studies is not my only fascination. Locke essay

In Locke's view simply being in the confines of a society implies tacit consent, meaning it becomes mandatory to adhere to the law. Locke's claim can be argued to be both logical and valid, but when put under scrutiny it does not hold as much weight as some would claim. It cannot be assumed that functional locationism automatically conveys consent, Hume (1960, p. 234) gives a clear analogy encapsulating this point ...can we seriously say that a poor peasant or artisan has a free choice to leave his country, when he knows no foreign language, and lives, from day to day by the small wages which he acquires... Locke refers to this tacit or overt expression of consent as a binding fiduciary compact as it is contingent on the sovereign body to ensure its commitment to protect individual life, liberty and property is upheld. Superficially, the concept of a fiduciary compact appears both fair and pragmatic, however it could be argued that

Giving opinion

4. If you ask me, _______ 4.0 GIVING YOUR OPINION ABOUT A TOPIC 4.1 Expressing a strong opinion In my opinion, fashion is a complete waste of time, money and resources. In my opinion, there's only one choice - English! In my view, government money shouldn't be used to support the Arts. In my reckoning, if we could lock up juvenile criminals, they'd learn that they couldn't get away with it. I strongly believe in preventing problems before they happen. In much the same way as the Japanese prepare for earthquakes, countries with dry climates could have water catchment systems and reservoirs to defend against water shortage.
