I think it is very important to read books, especially young people should read. Literature improves their vocabulary and changes their picture of the world and maybe teach tolerance. I’d give enough time to read every book carefully. I wouldn’t just make a test with fact-questions, I would discuss about the books with them. We would talk about the problems and the main ideas of the book. Later, they would have to write an essay about the book. Writing an essay improves their writing skills.
