A multilingual internet?

A multilingual internet? English seems to be everywhere and that's why it might make us think that everyone in the world speaks English. If this were true, it would bring benefits for worldwide communication, but it also may become a threat to cultural diversity. It is said that about 75% of the pages on the Web are in English but only 12% of the world's population can communicate well in English. The position of English is beginning to change. Both Europe and Asia are growth areas and are conducting e-business. Companies are beginning to realise that they will have to translate their websites for their various customers. Businesses all over the world are now faced with a huge challenge creating a multilingual website. It is not an easy task because different cultures have different needs. Companies doing e-business simply need time to translate their sites into the various languages necessary to do business

benefits of the high-schools education experience without confusion or delay. One way to ensure that our school can help the disabled students is to make elevators and lifts, but it costs a lot, so many schools, including ours, does not have such kind of a system. If school does not have elevators and lifts then the other way is to hire people who can help the disabled students out. There is always another way. Township can make schools which fit both disabled and normal students. No need to waste money to expensive lifts and elevators or manpower. But if there is no such schools and technique then there is always friends who can help out.

IS PEER PRESSURE MORE USEFUL THAN HARMFUL?

Peer pressure is useful when helps you to advance. It can help you bring a positive change in the way you think. Good peer pressure is basically motivation. On the ohter hand, peer pressure often makes people feel like they need to change who they are to belong in group. It forces people to lose their own identity. It will also likely result in having many bad habits during your teenage years, which are difficult to change when you get older, like drinking and smoking. Peer pressure has both good and bad sides. If you can use peer pressure to develope your character while being able to maintain yourself it is very useful. But you must not forget your identity or you might catch some bad habits. @

U.S.A

The war ended in 1788 and during the time following it, the Americans bought large pieces of land from foreign countries to themselves, creating a big country. By 1860 America was a big country but there was a big difference between the free North and the slavery South. The biggest problem was the issue of slaves and due to that the Civil War broke out in 1861. President Abraham Lincoln tried hard to unite the country again. Though both sides were strong, the North had more men, more factories and stronger leaders. In 1865 the South accepted the loss. Lincoln was shot in 1865 and the next president wasn't strong enough to unite the country, so problems weren't solved.During the 19th century many people went to live in the west. To people of today the West comes to us through fun cowboys who in reality were hard-working men. They disappeared when the government gave them land and from 1862 to 1900 they became farmers

English literature

For the Danish king he is the only a mysterious creature, for he doesn't know the Bibel. Again, when aged B. is killed by the dragon, the poet observes that his soul departs from the body. Yet the hero's people, the Geats, in the pagan manner burn his body and bury his ashes with much treasure. This is what commanded in a dying speech of a pagan who cannot hope for anything more than earthly remembrance after death. Important thing about is that both the characters and the narrator continually look before and after and this can sometimes seem difficult to the reader to make clear what in the narrative present is actually happening. For example, after his defeat of Grendel, young receives from grateful Danish host the gift of a rich collar. Instead of describing what the collar looked like, the poet first compares it to a collar in ancient legend, and

Churchill is ill, a condition that many of Highbury doubt. With an abundance of herring in both the North and Baltic Seas, Swedes have been pickling since the middle ages, mainly as a way of preserving the fish for storage and transportation. Pickled herring comes in a variety of flavors — mustard, onion, garlic and dill, to name a few — and is often eaten with boiled potatoes, sour cream, chopped chives, hard sharp cheese, sometimes boiled eggs, and of course, crisp bread. Troubled by conflicts between career and family, in 2001 Brooks officially retired from recording and performing. To sum up, it can be said that both artists are very popular. They do melodic and exciting music and they also have a very good impact on people because of their calming and great styles.

The area isn't very big 238 km2. The park grew from a bird reserve founded in 1910. The first who found Vilsandi birds interesting was long - time captain of the Vilsandi lighthouse,Artur Toom, who started providing protection for sea birds in 1906. Today, the preserve provides protection not only for sea birds, but for all the landscape, plants and animals present in the islands.Hunting is absolutely prohibited. This park is a popular tourist destination for both Estonians and foreign visitors, particularly from Finland. Before World War II, Vilsandi had 33 farms, with a population of around 200 people. Today, the population numbers around 30 individuals. To date, several wooden windmills have been rebuilt as well as the Tolli farm. The Tolli farm was a favorite vacation spot for several Estonian writers. Of interest to geologists, the islands of Vilsandi and Vaika consist of 400 million year old dolomite outcrops

By buying more books and changing library opening hours, we could solve the problem. Teachers` teaching styles Last, the minority of our class students (22%) do not like the teachers` teaching styles. Teachers should explain more clearly what they exactly want from students. In this way all the students would accept the teachers` teaching styles. Conclusion To sum up, I feel that the above improvements would make things even better. If these suggestions were carried out, both teachers and students would be content with teaching and studying conditions in the school.

The Major Environmental Problems In Estonia

by foot. In addition to that pollution is also caused by industries which are often located in towns near peoples' homes. As Estonia belongs to developed countries, people have enough power purchased and they mindlessly buy things they do not even need. According to that there is overconsumption which also causes huge waste dumps. Lastly there is abuse of the natural resources in Estonia. While wasting paper, people do not think that it is made of both wood and water which should be saved. Therefore there is over-intensive logging and the area of woods is decreasing. To sum up there are no such environmental problems in Estonia such as widespread hunger and poverty whilst there are some smaller problems in comparison with the Third World countries. On the plus side, you will still remember what's like to be a kid. Sure you will remember that in your 30s and 40s, but the more younger you are the more likely you are able to truly understand and relate to your child. All in all It's difficult to be sympathetic to someones problems when you dont know what they are going throught. However, for every plus side there is a minus. For one thing, you have to spend

What are the benefits and dangers of building new factories?

Firstly, companies which do not have experience with factories might produce an enormous amount of air pollution. Secondly, sophisticated combinations need highly educated experts, otherwise failure might cause chemical fires, which may lead to catastrophic disasters. What is more, new factories tend to start with cheap products which are produced with toxic chemicals and usually end up polluting our groundwater. In conclusion, there are clearly both marvelous and terrible sides to building new factories. Personally, I believe that building new factories is marvelous because it has positive affect on economy and also gives1 job for unemployed people, however building new factories has negative effect on environment and nature, also might have low quality products.

They are very good and professionals actors, that is why the characters were played well. Savannas are frequently seen as a transitional zone, occurring between forest and desert or prairie. Although the term savanna is believed to have originally come from a Native American word describing "land which is without trees but with much grass either tall or short", by the late 1800s it was used to mean "land with both grass and trees". It now refers to land with grass and either scattered trees or an open canopy of trees. Changes in fire management Savannas are subject to regular fires and the ecosystem appears to be the result of human use of fire. In the Federation, the citizens elect most of the Federal leaders as well as the State leaders. The Federal Government carries out its decisions directly, using its own tax collectors and courts. Firstly, many young people couldn't choose the subject that they are likely to learn. Working can show if there are any of professions you're good at, as it will improve your interest in certain occupations. On the other hand, it is better not to let years between studies. Researches have shown that students, who have worked for few years after secondary school, can't concentrate on their lessons as much as those whose first choice was university.

Conventional medicine has little to learn from alternative medicine

Conventional medicine has little to learn from alternative medicine. In our modern world more and more people look for alternative medicine instead of taking conventional treatment. Which of these treatments is better or can they both be used effectively in different cases? It is generally understood that when having a severe condition or an emergency, conventional treatment is strongly needed. For example, in a case of a heart attack or a severed limb, it is vital to find a way to a hospital or surgeon in a hurry. Unlike alternative medicine, conventional medicine has proven effectiveness and is scientifically based, while alternative medicine has a lack of scientific basis and its results are not always consistent.

The Lean Startup summary

thought I would really enjoy reading book about business. Eric Ries defines in this book a startup as an organization dedicated to creating something new under conditions of extreme uncertainty. This is just as true for one person in a garage or a group of seasoned professionals in a Fortune 500 boardroom. What they have in common is a mission to penetrate that fog of uncertainty to discover a successful path to a sustainable business. I learned about startup philosophy, which is used by both startups and more mature companies. This Book part´s are Vision, Define, Learn, Experiment, Leap, Test, Measure, Pivot or Preserve, Grow and Innovate. My favorite sentence from this book is “Those who look to adopt lean startup as a defined set of steps or tactics will not succeed. In a startup situation, things constantly go wrong.” I recommend this book for everybody who are interested about startup philosophy and investing. Kristiina Toomik

For example, if the head of a company makes bad financial decisions, everyone on that company is being influenced. In conclusin, I can say that the shape of a leader is never plain. Leadership is both art and science. Also, a good leader has to consider with his employees, be wise and make right decisions.

One of the bridge's safety innovations was a net suspended under the floor. This net saved the lives of 19 men during construction . There are also 128 lights installed on the bridge roadway. It makes it beautiful at night-time. The avarage crossings are about 41 million per year, counting both north- and south crossings. The Golden Gate Bridge's paint color is orange vermillion, also called international orange. Architect Irving Morrow selected the color because it blends with the bridge's setting. People say that it is a must see for anyone who visits san francisco and it is the best bridge in America. I would really love to cross that bridge. I think it would be an amazing experience.

The advantages and disadvantages of multiculturalism

The advantages and disadvantages of multiculturalism. Multiculturalism has both the good sides and the bad sides. A lot depends on the country as much it depends of its people. The good side is definitely the environment and society, which enrich and develop into many directions. So do people, too. New languages spread to schools all over the world and people learn and try out new things such as new oriental cuisines and much more. Many different traditiones expand that way.

Having a job while studying

Having a job while studying I think, that having a job while studying has both, positive and negative sides. One point of view in favour is preparation for the further life. On the other hand, having a job while studying shortens your spare time, time to relax and rest your brain, also you do not have time to do your homework properly, grades will suffer. Furthermore, young people should have enough time to spend with their friends and family, while students who work, use their ,,free time" to earn money, they enter to the grown-up world too soon, not to mention the fact

Report

According to the latest Census, the aim of this report is to figure out how much time people spend on household chores. The following points give us a good overview how men and women do it in Estonia. This report was commissioned by the Estonian Department of Statistics. It can be seen from the chart that both men and women spend about eight hours on household chores in Estonia. Men spend most of their time on building and making repairs. Less than an hour of their time is spent on gardening and pet care. Moreover men also like cooking and laundry in spite of losing their manhood. As expected, women occupy most of their time on child care. However it is surprising that they spend nearly one fifth on building. The reason for this may be due to men having

Argumentative essay - time changes things

It is my opinion that time is irrevelant and you have to change things yourself. At first, you may conclude that time does indeed change things, but is that an accurate conclusion? It’s true that time constantly moves on and we live in a constantly changing environment. But that doesn’t make time responsible for change. For example, if you are depressed and you cry constantly and you don’t make a change, the same problem will be in your face very day. Time and Change are both constant, but their relationship is random. Over the passage of time, changes will take place, but what that change will be is not controlled by time. In conclusion, If you want things to change for the better, you can either wait to see what changes take place over the passage of time, or you can choose to change the situation yourself. Ofcourse it takes an effort and you won’t always be succesful in changing things better. But in my opinion, it is always better trying to change things
