The company must have understandable and objective income and expense accounting and the company’s reporting has to be reliable, being in compliance with the Accounting Act and the guidelines of the Accounting Standards Board. Often, information obtained from source documents is not reflected in the correct financial statements and as a result, the company’s gross profit does not provide the management with true information for decision-making.
