Illegal Immigration in America - essee

Americans but the truth is that immigrants are willing to work for very low wages and do jobs that the average American wouldn’t. A more convincing argument would be the rise in criminal activity caused by illegal immigrants. For example more than 60 percent of the Hispanic gangs in Southern California are made up of illegal immigrants. These gangs are involved with drug-distribution systems, murders and robberies. Another issue caused by illegal aliens is the cost for taxpayers. It has been estimated that the average immigrant without a high-school degree will cost the U.S taxpayer about $100,000. A major reason for all of these problems is that 60 percent of illegal immigrants haven’t finished high school. What can be done to fix the problem? It wouldn’t seem reasonable to just send every immigrant back to their home country. A better solution would be to punish companies who

Service The waiters are friendly, but it's commonly hard to understand them because they don't speak neither understand much Estonian. The service could also be sometimes a bit slow and the queues long. Atmosphere The interior of the restaurant is nice and cosy, though what can be complained about is how the tables and seats are set, beacuse they are usually too close to each other. Restaurant plays music which gives you a good mood. As another minus, there are regularly food left-overs on the floor, which doesn't make the best out of the restaurant. Conclusion In conclusion, McDonalds is a good fast food restaurant and offers tasty but maybe not so healthy food. I would recommend McDonalds to everyone who are in rush and want to grab a quick snack.

Emigrating. (essay) Moving from one country to another has been a common thing for centuries. However, emigration has both advantages and disadvantages. One the plus side, moving away from your home country can be a really interesting and unforgettable experience and it also broadens your mind. Secondly, you might get a better job. Young people often move away from their homeland, because they think that they might get a better education, if they study in a well-known university. Finally, you can find a lot of new friends.

Chapter four plays around the consumer society topic. Most likely we're going to talk about music, fashion, how to spend a marvellous holiday without wasting much money, online shopping and sightseeing tours. The list could've continued another minute, because there is just so many things to discuss in connection with the consuming. As the tradition requires we're going to have a lovely test with lots of difficulties, but we're going to successfully survive them and have a nice summer afterwards. `Cela est d'autant!' would Shakespeare say if he'd learned French, but since he hadn't and I haven't neither, I'm going to finish with everlasting words the great poet used in another one of his remarkable masterpieces,

BRITISH HISTORY 17TH-19TH CENTURY

☄ When James I became the first English king of the Stuart dynasty, he was already king of Scotland, so the crowns of these two countries were united. ☄ The kind of Middle English spoken in lowland Scotland had developed into a written language known as Scots ☄ The Scottish Protestant church adopted English rather than Scots bibles ☄ Religion and politics are inextricably linked ☄ Some people tried to kill the king because he wasn't Catholic enough and another king had been killed, partly because he seemed too Catholic ☄ Anger grew in the country at the way that the Stuart monarchs raised money ☄ Puritanism- ideological Protestantism ☄ Some of them thought the luxurious lifestyle of the king and his followers was immoral. They were also fiercely anti-Catholic and suspicious of the apparent sympathy towards Catholicism of the Stuart monarchs. ☄ This led to The Civil War ☄ Victory for the parliamentary force

Informal letter

April 14, 2008 Dear Jaanika, It's been a while since we last wrote, so I thought I'd drop you a line to bring you up to date with what's been happening here. Actually, right now I'm laying under the palm tree and having a nice vacation at Bahama Island. I've been here for a week already and the time is just flowing by. I'm planning to relax and enjoy my vacation for another 2 weeks. Then I have to fly back home and start to work hard. But as a matter of fact I'm already thinking about my summer plans. I'm kind a sure that it wont be that relaxing at all, because I've thought about some money collecting. So my plans are that the first 2 months I'll mostly spend working. And for the last month I've made some plans where you fit into perfectly. I have a thought on my mind to go to England and spend there a nice weekend with some friends. Wouldn't that be great?

Catering service-letter

your advertisement in my local newspaper and booked the service for my 21 st birthday party with high hopes. Unfortunately I was terribly disappointed. Firstly, a huge variety of dishes is promised in your advertisement. To my surprise when I asked about some, I was told that many of them were not available. The second thing that was below standards was delivery. I do not believe that prompt delivery means food arriving late. When the food finally arrived, it was cold! Another problem was your staff. The waiters were simply rude to my guests! I was embarrassed especially because I had told my guests to expect a friendly service. As if all this was not enough, I was overcharged on the final bill. I would not have booked your service if I had known that you find it reasonable to overcharge people. Hopefully this letter prompts you to make some drastic changes in your service. I expect a full refund for your service ruined my party.

How can we increase the quality of breathable air? Essee

breathable air? “I’ll go out for a breath of fresh air” is an often-heard phrase. But how many of us realize that this has become irrelevant in today’s world? Air pollution is the addition of any harmful substances to the atmosphere, which causes the damaging of the environment, human health and the quality of life. Firstly, we should use green methods of powering like wind energy and landfill gas energy. This would reduce the amount of harmful gases. Another useful suggestion would be to plant trees. In this way we can increase the source of breathable oxygen. Unfortunately, many companies are contributing to deforestation. Finally, it would help if we put taxes on carbon emissions or higher taxes on gasoline. In this way people and companies will have greater incentives to conserve energy and pollute less. In conclusion, there are many ways to pollute the air less. We all have to do whatever we can to solve this major problem

Ideal Businessman

An ideal businessman is never late. He's the first to arrive to meetings. In business time equals money and that is something that isn't useful to waste. Ideas are also very important. An ideal person has to be full of them all the time. Great ideas are used to improve business and to make a lot of money. Trust and honesty are two very important qualities for an ideal businessman. If people don't trust you or don't feel comfortable as your customers, they usually turn to another company and you may lose a very big client. We all know that there are no ideal people in the world, but we still keep trying to become one. All what we really need to do is to give our best and hope that it is enough. Even an ideal businessman makes mistakes, because it is vey hard to be perfect and idealistic all the time. I think that some miner mistakes are always allowed.

Witness Report

pull up in front of me and two men jumped out and ran into Woolworths. I didn't really pay any attention until I heard screams coming from inside the shop. When I got closer I saw one man holding a gun while the other emptied the cash register. I couldn't see them very well, but one was fairly tall with brown hair and sunglasses and the other was shorter with very short blond hair. They were both wearing jeans and were about 22 years old, so they could have been students. There was another man in the car who had been waiting with the engine running, but I couldn't see what he looked like. I think they must have panicked at that point, beause they came running out without waiting to fill their bag with money and jumped into the red car again. As soon as the two men jumped into the car I drove off very fast in the direction of Churchill Square and the police arrived soon after that.

World in 2060

To start with, flying car is an expectation for future that has been pictured for a long time. In the industrial revolution scientist developed the most common things that we currently use in a very short term of time, thus why they can't do it again. For now, world is an oil dependent society, and that has to change, what is more, no secondary solution for petrol hasn't been proved successful. We might run out of petrol soon and therefore we need another source of energy that makes our lives easier. To sum up, future will always be a mystery. It may well as happen that there will be an Armageddon and we all, human race will be swept of the world. What is more bound to happen is that there will be improvements in all fields.

Essee Eating disorders

The most common types of eating disorders are anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Why do some people start with such harmful nutritional habits? Firstly, one reason for this could be media. Advertisers heavily market weight-reduction programs and present anorexic young models as the paradigm of sexual desirability. Also, clothes are designed and displayed for thin bodies in spite of the fact that few women could wear them successfully. Another thing to mention is genetic factors. According to studies, anorexia is eight times more common in people who have relatives with the disorder. This disease will become apparent after some kind of psychological shock. Finally, even their families can give negative influence. Although, almost every parent knows how important right nutrition is, there are also some people who behave differently. Sometimes some ignorant parents even urge their children to lose weight.

Endangered Animals

In order to protect endangered species, what can we about this problem? One way of solving the problem is to protect wildlife habitats as the best way to protect endangered species is to protect the places they live in. In addition to this, wildlife must have a place to find food and shelter from the weather. Logging, oil and gas drilling, over-grazing and real estate development have all resulted in the destruction of these habitats, which must be minimized as much as possible. Another way to solve the problem is to stop buying products that are made from animal skin. The lack of demand would result in hunters being unable to continue their business. Finally, it is important to pay attention when driving. One of the problems in developed areas is that roads divide habitats, meaning they are a constant hazard to not only themselves, but to the people driving on those roads as well. So when you're out and about, slow down and keep an eye out for wildlife.

Mercy kill as a way out

Mercy kill as a way out Mercy killing has always been a controversial topic, some believe that practicing it should be punished because it could lead to bad consequences but others think a person should never be punished just for helping. Mercy killing should not be punished. People with terminal illness usually experience a lot suffering and when they have a choice whether to live in pain and be a burden to their family and hospital or die in peace, many usually prefer the second choice. Some prefer to die with dignity and if mercy killing would be punished they simply would have the freedom of choose. On the other hand mercy killing should be punished. If mercy killing becomes something usual younger people might start thinking life has a smaller value. A tremendous amount of resources is used to keep the terminally ill people alive and doctors might start using euthanasia as something to save up the resources...

If school does not have elevators and lifts then the other way is to hire people who can help the disabled students out. There is always another way. No trip to London would be complete without a visit to the Tower of London. This famous historical site has been the living quarters of monarchs. It has been a site of imprisonment and execution of many traitors, clergymen, nobles and framed members of the royal court and was also an armory, treasury, zoo and mint. Today it houses the crown jewels and has a museum filled with armor, weapons and implements of torture. Another popular tourist sight is the London eye. Constructed by British Airways, it towers 135 meters above the banks of the Thames River. It is located near Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, on the opposite bank, adjacent to London's county hall. Views from the eye are spectacular and on a clear day most of London can be seen. If there's only one museum that can be seen, the British Museum is the one to visit. Report The aim of this report is to give information about what kind of items should be sold as our school's souvenirs. Many people think that items sold as souvenirs should be items that a person uses on a daily basis. The best items to sell would be mugs, pens and T-shirts. Our school emblem is an eagle spreading it's wings, therefore, the souvenirs should have a picture of an eagle on them. Another option would be to print our school's initials on those items. Initials do not take much space and above all they are practical. It is believed that red and yellow are irritating colors, blue and green on the other hand are soothing. Keeping that in mind, the souvenirs should be in blue and green shades. Text on the souvenirs should be in black as black catches the eye. One part of the backround should be in white because it brings out the main thought which is to symbolize...

I'm writing for you more specifically about our upcoming trip - meet-up and changes we have been made, so you can move on with the arrangements. Also, I have couple of questions myself too. First of all, we have a change regarding the date. We will arrive on 6'th September and leave on 16'th September . We are going to use a bus as a transport and will arrive to the hotel approximately 12 at noon. We have total of 16 students in our group - 10 boys and 6 girls plus another teacher besides me. We would like to have 5 rooms if possible and there is also a girl in the wheelchair in our group. I would also like to know about the museums you have been searched out for us and which is the appropriate way to dress ourselves - more comfortably or rather elegantly? Plus are there any past-time sporting opportunities for us? If yes, may you stop more closely on that? All in all I would like to thank you and meet you soon! Yours truly, Mari

What are the most needed professions in Estonia in the 21st Century

Most needed professions in Estonia in the 21st Century All people in our society have a role. All adults should have jobs. That means they need to choose a professions. In my opinion one the most needed professions is a doctor. When people get sick, they need doctors to check them, put diagnose and treat them. In my opinion there are few specialists in Estonia because lot of them go to foreign country, mostly because of the low salary in Estonia. Another job needed is teachers. If you want to study a specialty or aquire a high school you need teachers who will guide and teach. The third most needed profession is builders. The cities grow and new building`s are being razed and in turn, the economy is growing. Some old houses are being restored like they used to be in the past. I think that all three professions are needed in Estonia and that employees in this field do not leave Estonia when raise salary and they are reco...

conflicts in human history. The proximate cause was the 28 June 1914 assassination of Franz Ferdinand of Austria by some Bosnian-Serb nationalist. The war soon spread worldwide. In March 1939, Britain announced that it would be supportive to Poland when Germany would invade it, but German invaded anyway. Hitler and Stalin had secretely signed an agreement dividing up Poland between the two powers. On 3rd September 1939, when many people were already preparing for war, Neville

Book report

But because Holly wasn't ready for it she started ignoring Daniel. But at Denise's wedding she found out that Daniel had gotten back together with his old girlfriend. But she wasn't mad at him for that. In the end of the story she bumps into a man on the street and they go and have a cup of coffee. She is ready to love again, it doesn't matter if it will come in 10 months or 10 years. Things I learned 1) Friendship is very important in life. 2) Friends always have to help one another in troubled times. 3) Life goes on after a tragic death of a loved one. 4) You shouldn't keep problems wrapped up inside you. Instead talk about it. 5) People can love again, after losing the person you thought you would be with forever. 6) At a job interview you always should always bring out your best characteristics. 7) Stay true to yourself and believe in yourself. 8) You should always listen to other people's opinion first, before talking back. 9) In death there is always a new beginning.

Solution: a) 20 MHz divide by 10000 producing 2000 Hz or time length = 0.5 ms. Number of counts = 0.5ms/100ns=5000 counts 18 MHz divide by 10000 producing 1800 Hz or time length = 0.5555 ms. Number of counts = 0.555ms/100ns=5555 counts The difference is 555 counts. b) Because that the second method has increased the sampling rate. Question 3 (10 marks) Consider the following simple mixer circuit. a) Why do we require a low-pass filter when using this mixer circuit? b) Name another disadvantage of such a mixer circuit. Solution: a) Because the mixer outputs become four (4) including the two input frequencies, the sum and the difference of them. Actually we need only the difference output frequency (Offset – Input) and the lowpass filter will help to filter aways the higher three output frequencies. b) Name another disadvantage of such a mixer circuit (page 97-98) - The mixer multiplies the wanted frequency shift but also other frequency shifts (origiral, sum, etc.)

Shopping - pleasure or obligation

markets like Portobello Road Market in London. There you will find collectible and antique junk. If you find something interesting you can bargain about the price. Then you feel what is pleasure of shopping. Shopping is very annoying if you have to go to the shop when you don't want to go. Like with mother or girlfriend. They always have to try all clothes and shoes when they go to the shop or boutique. You simply wait and wait. Finally they decide to buy nothing and go to the another shop.(That is very irritating) Shopping cab be interesting or quite poring. It depends where, when you do the shopping and what kind of person you are.

Nice

Nice or Nica is a city in southern France located on the Mediterranean coast. With its natural beauty and sandy beaches, Nice, is the perfect destination for those who like sun and sea. Nice, is one of the most beautiful cities you will ever see. The main place of interest is the promenade des Anglais, which is a celebrated promenade along the Mediterranean at Nice, France. It is a walkway along the sea, where you can enjoy amazing view and see many luxurious private ships. Another place worthy of visiting is the small street parallel to the promenade des Anglais; leading from Nice's downtown, beginning at Place Massena, and shadowing the promenade towards the airport for a short distance about 4 blocks. This area of the city is off limits to cars, and by eliminating traffic creates a more serene setting. On this small strip tourists can find a fine selection of restaurants, where you can try local cuisine, cafes and small shops for clothing, shoes as well as souvenirs.

Another important series for example European champion ship and Junior Champion ship. The bigger motocycle manufactures are Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. They are Japanese motocycles. The only Austrian manufacture is KTM. Anothers are smaller motocycle manufactures for exampe Aprilia, Polini and TM Racing. Unfortunately motocross brings about serious injuries and may end with death. But Motocross will continue to grow in popularity every year.

Argumentive essay

They often do things on their own and sometimes things that they wouldn't be proud of in the future. It is certainly true that cosmetic surgery costs a lot of money. People under the age of age of eighteen live with their parents. Usually parents have to cover their expenses. On the other hand minors might get into an accident and need cosmetic surgery to look the same again. If disfigured a child can feel left out which is not good. Another point in favor is that some people might have a serious birth defect like cleft lip and they might want to get it removed. To sum up, minors might use cosmetic surgery a lot but rarely do they really need it. On my opinion cosmetic surgery should only be given to those who need it with a doctor's subscription.
