In my opinion, Oliver was weird. He had his own thoughts and rules like to lose his virginity before his next birthday. He had his own weird friends, and few girl friends. There were times, when Oliver was kind of caring, kind, considering and helpful but most of the times he was very lonely (except being with Jordana). He wanted his parents to love each other passionately and he had pretty much work with this. Then there was Jordana, a girl who was very unusual. To me she seemed a bit angry and kind of shy. She liked to do things that other girls on her age never would do. That pretty much says the basic things about her. Oliver parents were weirder than Oliver. They rarely talked to each other. This movie was weird to me. I didn't get the main idea of this movie. All that I understand is that Oliver, Jordana and his family were unusual. They lived a life that was full of pain, silence and injustice a life that I would never want to live.

Driss' family is very poor and his mother has to work very long hours to get enough money to feed all of the children. Because of mother's long work one of her sons starts getting along with the wrong people and gets in trouble with the police. The second problem will be Driss' and his mother's relationships. Driss has been gone for six months and then comes back home. His mother is very angry at him and tells his to go away. Driss tries to explain, but won't listen and sends him away. This problem would be solved by talking things through. Third problem is growing up too fast. Driss has a younger sister and since her mother works very long, she has to take care of her little sisters and brothers, who all have to be fed and bathed. She has take up the mother role in the house and deal with the children basically on her own.
The story is set in Jukola farm, there were some issues with family life and then the brothers decided to go live in forest and finally they built a big farm, which is named "Impivaara". In the first chapter the boys are very young and they messed up everything. As the story develops, brothers have grown into big mans. They are having troubles with enforcer and his oxen. But brothers settled the problem and enforcer is no longer angry at brothers. The book contains lots of metaphors, which make the novel more vivid. There aren't any illustrations on pages, but on the cover there are beautiful illustrations how the brothers are killing bear. In my opinion, the novel is very educative. On the one hand, brothers were hard-working and good people. But on the other hand, they did some bad things and disturbed other villager`s peaceful life. done. From time to time truth can be hurtful. Noone wants to hear that they look exceptionally bad today, especially when they really do. A little fiction can save the day for everyone. Furthermore truth can be so complicated that noone really knows , what is real and what is not. Particularly when it concernes human emotions. There is no certainity, everything changes in time, and what is said genuinely today may become a lie tomorrow. People can be upset, sad or angry and say something they think is true, but later on regret it. These situations can be avoided by telling little lies. On the other hand, lies can hurt and make people feel betrayed. Noone wants to find out that they have been left out of something or mislead. Often lies are told to spare someones feelings, but in the end it is the lie itself and broken trust that hurts more than the initial deed. Therefore there can not be an universal answer. She really is a very attractive and friendly person, but when she gets angry, you should not be in her sight.
