An Essay

Basics are pretty much the same, but ofcourse depending of the culture, the differences and interests of educating people, are big. Children go to school at age five in Great Britain, which is too early in my opinion. Most children in Estonia start school at age seven, only some of them at age six. I think starting with school and competition, rivalry, witch always associates with schooling, too young, shortens the childhood and may affect negatively self-esteem, success and coping in the future. Children´s job is to play, it develops child the best, so I think anyone shouldn't forbit humans inherent needs. Children don´t have to become too fast to an adult. The high school in Great Britain starts at age eleven, but in Estonia at about age fifteen. Biggest difference is that in Great Britain they prepare young people to get a job or continue studing, but in Estonia this is only first step of educational life...

For and Against Mobile Phones essey

But mobile phones have their downsides too. Firstly, buying a good mobile phone which has internet access, GPS and other useful applications is quite expensive. Secondly, mobile phones have made people lazy. Hardly no-one goes to knock on a door to ask a friend out. Instead they call or send a text message. And of course there are video call, so people don't even have to meet face to face. Most important downside is health hazards. Mobile phones will affect one's hearing. Also it is proven that mobile phones have bad radiation and they may cause cancer. It can be said that mobile phones are useful and make people's life easier. But I think the problems that mobile phones may cause are too serious to avoid and it is healthier to use mobile phones only in a emergency....

The cost of production

The costs of production Production Decisions about production require individual agents to make decisions about the allocation and use of physical inputs. · Objectives of agents, technology, availability and quality of inputs determine the nature of these decisions. Since the objectives are often pecuniary, it is often necessary to relate the decisions about the physical units of inputs and outputs to the costs of production. · If the prices of the inputs and the production relationships are known (or understood), it is possible to calculate or estimate all the cost relationships for each level of output. In...

Psühholoogia bioloogiline-, kognitiivne- ja sotsiaalne vaade

Prior to the development of modern technology, one of the most common ways to study the brain was case study. Often case studies provide researchers with a situation that they could never ethically reproduce in a laboratory. One of the most famous case studies of how brain damage can affect behavior is the study of Phineas Gage by Dr John Harlow. Gage was in a serious accident, where a metal pole pierced his skull and brain. Luckily he survived, losing vision in his left eye. He had no difficulty with speech or language, but the balance between his intellectual abilities and emotional control had been destroyed. He became highly agitated and irrelevant, often impatient and rude. Study to his frontal lobe provided evidence that the brain affects personality and social behaviors....

Speetch - Eating disorders

Eating disorders I think that eating disorder is a very serious subject and everybody should know how to eat properly. Many famous film stars, singers and pop arts go on a diet to lose weight. There's nothing wrong with that but you have to know where to draw the line. Being on a diet may seriously affect your mind and body and not in a good way. We also see many over-weight people. That is another extreme. Over-weight is not good for your heart and its actions. It severely damages your heart work and simultanously causes many heart problems. It also shortens your life, too. When people say the appearance of waif-like models in the media may send a dangerous message about eating disorders, general fitness, fashion magazines...

Acid Rain

Many can find it difficult to breathe, especially people who have asthma. Asthma, along with dry coughs, headaches, and throat irritations can be caused by the sulfur dioxides and nitrogen oxides from acid rain. Acid rain can be absorbed by both plants (through soil and/or direct contact) and animals (from things they eat and/or direct contact). When humans eat these plants or animals, the toxins inside of the things they eat can affect them. It can cause brain damage, kidney problems and even Alzheimer's disease. The countries that are producing the majority of the pollutions that causes acid rain are not that badly affected (Germany, Britain, USA). Instead the wind direction means the acid rain falls in the other places (in Europe : Scandinavia, USA; Canada) Cultural effects Acid rain and the dry deposition of acidic particles contribute to the corrosion of metals (such as bronze) and the deterioration of paint and stone...

Spordi- ja korvpallipsühholoogia

How can you train your mental toughness and who can help you with that. I wanted to know why does athletes have one day a good strong day but the other day they fail. To get the answers, i used different english web pages and also books. All data are taken from reliable and well known sources, whose authors are psychologists themselves or that field's scientists. I got confirmation of my submission that everyone can affect their performances by themselves. If u really do want to succeed in this area, you must be mentally tough. When athletes are about to give up mentally then a coach or sport psychologist comes to help. There are many disturbing things in sport and to overcome these you have to specifically develop your mental strenght. Sportpsychologist can help you with that. Eating habits in Estonia

Traditional Estonian food has its roots firmly in the countryside, relying heavily on pork, potatoes and garden variety vegetables. The main culinary influences were from Germans, who ruled over Estonia for so many centuries. The eating habits of the Estonian population are related to the season, which severely affect the availability of fresh food. The spring and summer are the seasons of fresh food, in this period are used vegetables, berries and herbs, with the warmer climate the Estonians also like to cook meat grilled outdoors. During the winter are used mushrooms, jams, and preserved foods. Among the typical Estonian dishes are: Baltic fish in acid sauce, pork with sauerkraut and boiled potatoes, blood sausage and...

Inglise keelne intervjuu

Marc and Catherine kindly ask me to join them in their cozy little house near the farm. We sit down by the fireplace and Catherine serves her special and at least locally very famous tea the exact recipe is a well-kept secret, of course. Was working in a farm something you planned already long ago? Marc: No, not really. In high school I actually planned to become a chemical engineer. It's funny how haphazard things in life change and affect so many other things. Practical chemistry lead me first to household chemicals, then I started studying fertilizers and discovered the charms of agriculture. As I've grown up in a big city, cows and other farm animals have always symbolised a better world, something more perfect but less accessible to me. Yes, especially cows, I've always loved them. So a few years after university it was clear to me that I want to work with cows. Catherine: To me the profession of a milkmaid was no accident...
