The Book I Advice to Read and Why

To what point can we predict our own destiny? This is the question that hangs in the air over The Fifth Mountain. Paulo Coelho brings out the universal themes of how faith and love can ultimately triumph over. The author lets the reader draw his own conclusions after having experienced the hero's breathtaking adventure. Sometimes the world seems to have conspired against us, and we ask ourselves, "Why does this have to happen to me?" So, I advice to read this book for those, who wants to understand why does it happen sometimes.

Stolen Passport.

Alpha Street. At one moment, I noticed a young man following me. I quickly jumped on the bus and suddenly he was right behing me, yelling at My bag. I kept the bag close to me until the next bus stop. After that I went shopping and when I started to pay I discovered that my wallet was missing. I had all my money, credit cards and my passport in my bag. I don`t know how it all was stolen, I held my bag close to me. It is unrealistic. So, could you possibly offer your advice on what I should do to get a new passport? I am looking forward to receiving your advice. Yours faithfully,

Eestvedamine

Me uurisime erinevate artiklide ja raamatute definitsioone teemal „eestvedamine“ ning meid huvitas, mida erinevad autorid tähtsaks pidasid defineerimisel. Meie materjal pärineb kolmest teadusartiklist – Alberto Silva „What do we really know about leadership?“, Antra Line ja Anita Lasmane „Leadership, communication and union commitment in Latvia: development perspectives of strategic management“ ning Robert J. Allio „Leaders and leadership – many theories, but what advice is reliable?“ Samuti on mõiste määratlemisel kasutatud aine juhtimise alused õppematerjale ja raamatut „Juhtimine“ Aino Siimoni ning Kulno Türgi poolt. Lisaks sellele kasutasime oma töös ka õpikut „Organisatsioon ja juhtimine“, mille on kirjutanud Raoul Üksvärv. Töö on jagatud kaheks peatükiks: esimeseks peatükiks on eestvedamise mõisteanalüüs, teine kirjandusallikate uurimismeetodid. Nendele peatükkidele lisandub sissejuhatus,

Gilead by Marilynne Robinson

Gilead Marilynne Robinson Setting: America, Iowa in 1956 and earlier Main character: John Ames The Plot: Gilead is a story about fathers and sons. The main character John Ames is a preacher in his mid seventies. His heart is failing him and he wants to guarantee that his son grows up well and gets his advice. He has always written down all his sermons and saved them in boxes. He is very keen on writing. John starts writing a letter to his six year-old son. A letter which his son would get to read as a grown-up. It is just like John would write down his biography. John puts down words of advice and wisdom for his son and tells him about the life of a minister and a preacher. John starts his letter with reminding the conversation he had had with his son the night before that he might be gone someday

Cashflow Quadrant

HOW TO GET FREE Taxes and debt are two of the main reasons most people never feel financially secure or achieve financial freedom. The path to security or freedom is found on the right-hand side of the CASHFLOW Quadrant. You need to go beyond job security. It is time to know the difference between financial security and financial freedom. Remember that everyone's financial situation is different. So you need to: 1. Seek out the best professional and financial advice you can find. For example while a C corporation may work well in some instances, it does not work well in all instances. Even on the right side of the Quadrant, occasionally an S corporation is appropriate. 2. Remember that there are different advisors for the rich, the poor, and the middle class, just as there are different advisors for people who earn their money on the right side and on the left

Word order, articles, prepositions, adverb, adjective

We cannot say "please pass me pen", we must say "please pass me the pen" or "please pass me a pen" or "please pass me your pen". Nouns in English can also be uncountable. Uncountable nouns can be concepts, such as 'life', 'happiness' and so on, or materials and substances, such as 'coffee', or 'wood'. 2. Rule:Uncountable nouns don't use 'a' or 'an'. This is because you can't count them. For example, advice is an uncountable noun. You can't say "he gave me an advice", but you can say "he gave me some advice", or "he gave me a piece of advice". Some nouns can be both countable and uncountable. For example, we say "coffee" meaning the product, but we say "a coffee" when asking for one cup of coffee. 3. Rule:You can use 'the' to make general things specific. You can use 'the' with any type of noun - plural or singular, countable or uncountable.

Black Beauty

Chapters 1–5: Black Beauty spent his young life with his mother on Farmer Grey’s farm. Farmer Grey was a good, kind man and the horses had a good life. His mother told him that not all people were good and she gave him some advice: ‘Always be good so people will love you. Always work hard and do your best’. Black Beauty tried to follow this advice all his life. First, he went to live at Birtwick Park with Mr Gordon and his family, who treated their horses well. He became friends with two other horses, Merrylegs and Ginger. He was cared for by a groom called John Manly, who never used a whip. His wife gave him the name of Black Beauty. He learnt to carry a rider and pull a carriage. Chapters 6 – 8: The stable boy, James, got a better job with a nearby farmer so he was trained by the head groom.

Am i an optimist or pessimist

in there own way. Some of the people are optimistic and the others are not. But is my glass half-full or half-empty? To answer this question I have to weigh all the pros and cons. For example, sometimes in hard situations I just give up, because I just can no longer force this. But I still know, that somewhere deep in my heart there is hope that everything will be alright. That is why I can proudly call myself an optimistic person! And I want to give you good advice! Even on those days when nothing in your life seems to be going right, it can be really tough to see the silver lining among all those clouds. But ability to see the good in even the worst situations is so important. Try to be more optimistic and you will see-life is not that bad! The world is beautiful! I hope that my essay will help to see your glass half full rather than half empty.

If you don’t train hard, you won’t succeed in sport. We can also use modal verbs (can, may, must, should) instead of verbs in the main clause.  If i have enough time, i can visit you. My favourite room

My favourite room I love my house and especially my own room. I am very interested in Feng Shui and I try to decorate my room for this style. When you decorate room you put there a piece of your soul. With room, where I moved five years ago, I have a lot of memories. The main object of the bedroom is a bed. Remember like in evening I lied there and read books, studied, dreamed. Sometimes mom came to me. She could always listen to me and give advice. From time to time we just lied in bed, talked about life, education, love and boys. My room is bright, simple and very comfortable. It's spacious, but not huge, on the other hand it's big enough to have a bookcase, where on shelves are neatly stacked books. We have a good library, where are collected the most interesting works like fiction, mysteries, classis and adventure literature. There are a lot of my favourite books that I have reread many times. I really adore playing on guitar

Crime is a disease

Criminals have different backgrounds so they have different reasons for their actions. Some come from damaged homes, others may have been influenced by their friends or community they live in, for excample getthos, some may have commited a crime out of lifes circumstances. During and after their imprisonment criminals should get some mental help. A psychologist could figure out what is the reason for their criminal activity and could give them advice. If the criminal has some serious financial issues that he has not caused he should be given a job so that he could run his life back on tracks. I think that criminals should not just be sent to jail but given mental and reasonable financial help because otherwise there is no chance to raise a better community.

Report - how to make buildings more crime-proof

To: The Crime Prevention Officer From: - Date: 28 October 2010 Subject: Increase in crimes Introduction The purpose of this report is to suggest reasons why criminals target the area and give some advice on how to make buildings more crime-proof. 1 Inveiglement Firstly, people keep their valuable items in the visible places like on the window sill and that entices the criminals. Recommendation: Valuable items should be put away, where it is impossible to see them from the window. 2 Security systems Another thing to mention is that people do not give much attention to the security of their houses. That decreases dread of being caught and criminals are getting more and more impudent.

Friends and Friendship

and all of us have found new friends. I didn't find really great friends from my class until about third grade. I went dancing with two classmates and I was connected with others by similar interests. I visited one girl every week and we played together for a while. Recently, my friends have changed, again. I have gotten distant with ones and made new friends, with whom I can laugh endlessly and who will always listen to my problems and give the best advice. I have buddies who don't care about big presents if they can see me in person. I couldn't say that one friend is better that thousands of them, but if all my friends were somehow magically in one person, I would have to change my answer. THANK YOU

How to find work you love, Ted talks

think that's the main reason why people don't make the right choices. I and Scott Dinsmore think the same way- that the environment and peole around you matter. When I was choosing my specialty, I did exactly what he refers to. I figured myself out and realized that right now and for the rest of my life I want to work with multimedia and that doesn't mean I can't accomplish other dreams too, like study medicine, design, art, music and so on. I'm absolutely sure, that I chose the right path. His advice is that you shouldn't do something because everyone says your supposed to. You should accomplish your own impossibilities and surround yourself with passionate people.

My best friend

brown almond-shaped eyes, a small nose and a small pointed chin. She is not very tall but not short either and she is quite slim. She doesn't like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T-shirt or sweater. It seems like she and I are always talking or laughing about something. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humor but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice. We are interested in many of the same hobbies. We both enjoy music, playing in computer games and surf in internet. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can't agree on which movie to see. Sometimes we just walk around, trying to find a new area of the city to explore. We both like traveling, reading, and swimming. In the holydays we might walk into town and see a movie or stay at home and watch television. Whatever we're doing, it's always fun to be with her. I know I can rely on her

Marriage is an outdated institution

America. There are many reasons why this happen and people get divorced. Infidelity, poor communication, change in priorities and cte. Nobody can't say that it does no happen to us, because we love each other so much. but never say never, because if your marriage ends you should know the cost of divorce and it could be a lot more than you may think. A lot of fees: lawyer's fees, court bills, . and someone even can't afford a divorce. My advice is : Do not get married. There are so many advantages of not getting married. You don't have to deal with the financial stress of planning a wedding- the dress, the rings the vows and so on. You will never have to deal with divorce, ever. No last name drama. Bu t don't get me wrong. For many people getting married is a symbol of love and it is extremely important to them but i do not see the point of getting married and paying money to prove your love.

Dear Tom, I talked to your sister and found out, that you are going to take an exam next week. I wanted to give you some advice. Last year I took my exams so I believe I could help you. First off I strongly recommend you to have a good night sleep the night before your exam. Study everything you might need but try not to overdo the studying. After all the exam is to test whether you have learned anything during the years you have spent in school. I believe you'll do just fine with the exams. Best wishes,

Tess - Guilty or not ?

This leads to Angel leaving Tess after they had just married. So, I think that this was again her mother's fault. All these three misadventures lead to the ultimate mistake that Tess does killing Alec D'Urberville. She kills him because Alec has pushed her so far with the pregnancy and picking on Tess because of Angel. Tess was just a naive young woman who did not know anything about real life. She is not guilty just unlucky and sometimes listened wrong persons' advice. In my opinion the point when one kills another human being is not just an action, there must be more do it than seems. Monologue

Some people say that children should be given a chance to solve their problems on their own. Some people say that parents should make all their children’s decisions until the children are 18. By the law of our country, parents have the right to make important decisions about their children's lives. Parental obligations end when a child reaches the age of majority, which is 18 years old. Until that, parents are free to make all decisions relating to the welfare of their child as they see fit. Because of that law, some people say that parents should make all their children’s decisions until the children are 18. However, other people say that children should be given a chance to solve their problems on their own. There are parents who prefer to make all decisions for their kids. Some of them do it because they are afraid to see their child suffering through setbacks, oth...

Tess of the d'urbervilles

After some time she meets D'Urberville. At first she ignores him, but then has a thought that when living with him Tess could restore her dignity. But in a moment of fury she kills him. Tess becomes a fugitive and on the run she encounters Angel. They both confess their love for each other and begin avoiding the authorities together. But they are successful in it only for a while and moments before Tess is being imprisoned, she gives Angel an advice to marry his sister-in-law because she is just like Tess without her flaws. This story is heartbreaking and I can't imagine a person claiming otherwise. In my opinion Tess is not guilty, because she didn't want any of this to happen and tried to make the right choices. Even the revenge on D'Urberville is justified as all her misery began because of him and I don't think she deserved a death penalty.
