The themes of lectures were very interesting. Firstly, the lecture that was carried out by our local general practitioner. She talked about health in general and about the right diet. They showed us how to measure blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol. For me it was hard to focus on the lecture, because all the activities caused a lot of noise and it was hard to listen to the doctor. In my opinion the lecture was very instructive and educational. Secondly, the lecture that was carried out by Tallinn Genetic Engineering Institute's director. The subject of the lecture was very difficult. He discussed genetics in general, the history of DNA and genetic engineering's development. Genetics is a science of heredity. It's a very important part of medicine. In my opinion the lecture was difficult, but very exciting.
Drinking water is geting very unpopular especially among young people. Human body needs water to work proparly. One of the problems why we don’t have enough water in our bodies is alcohol. People drink cold alcoholic drinks in summer instead of water but alcohol carries out water from our bodies.To start living healthier, stay hydrated. Very easy way to live healthier and get in shape is doing sports. We have many sport activities nowadays, you just have to pick your favourite. But you have to keep in mind that you should do what makes you happy to have healthy mind. Don’t do sports what you don’t enjoy and makes you unhappy. If you keep your body healthy you’ll enjoy your life more.
Healthy Life I do not workout. I just do not have time for that and I do not have a mind to do workout sometimes. My way to workout is to play basketball, 90 minutes PE classes once a week and walk with my dog. In summers, I usually watch soccer on television and sometimes play basketball. My mother, father and sister are completely opposites of me. My sister practices swimming and soccer three times a week, including she rides with a bike. My mother bought herself a fitness machine; she uses it twice a week. My father also goes to fitness centre, rides with a bike and runs three times a week. In the student's defence I have to mention that, we are growing individuals, who develop to be the best contribution and enrichment to our country. So I think it is wrong to judge the book by it's covers. Secondly, it surely is not true that today´s students are lazy and unproductive individuals who do nothing but sit around all day. I know for a fact that a high percentage of students are active in school and after school events and activities. There are some exceptions, who differ form those students. Finally, it is ignorant of you to say that students do not suffer from stress. School is very stressful, specially for a growing and evolving person. Stress is not just for grownups. Students have to deal with it also. In conclusion, I found your article to be inaccurate in its assessment on students life. Since magazine claims that the stories come from real life I hope that future issues will be more objective.
