Turismi mõju majandusele ja keskkonnale

Turismi negatiivne mõju majandusele ja keskkonnale MAJANDUS 1. Riikide poliitiline ja majanduslik olukord mõjutavad oluliselt turismi. Riikides, kus on näiteks orkaanid, maavärinad, terroriak või haiguste levik, võib turistide arv olla väike. 2. Praeguseks on ookeanides tekkinud ulpivast plastprügist saared. 2. Õhutransport on kõige saastavam transpordiliik. Lennuk pai...

Soil microflora

Based on My Agriculture Information Bank (2013) the major soil factors which influence the microbial population, distribution and their activity in the soil are: 1. Natural conditions (including soil fertility, pH, aeritation, temperature, moisture, organic matter, food and energy supply, microbial association and interactions) 2. Cultural practices These factors play a great role in determining not only the number and type of organism but also their activities. Variations in any one or more of these factors may lead to the changes in the activity of the organisms which ultimately affect the soil fertility level. Natural conditions Extreme environments such as high-altitude and highlatitude ecosystems are very sensitive to environmental changes. Global warming is hypothesised to alter both above- and below ground processes affecting the soil ecosystem (Asher et al. 2012). As an example, Asher et al.

Hypermobility. The effect of hypermobility on flexibility

In order to avoid injuries, one is suggested to perform exercises and physical therapies to improve one’s extension, such as yoga, pilates, dancing, tai chi and intensive stretching trainings. These kind of exercises strenghten the joint as well as relieve pain in case it becomes evident. Learning the normal range of motion of every joint is recommended in order to prevent hyperextension. One can protect the joints by using supportive bandages, paddings or braces during physial activities as well. Joint hypermobility needs a prompt reaction when discovered at an early age. If JMS is detected as a child, hyperextension may not form at all.4 Based on the information Mayo Clinic5 provides, a child who has a tendency for double-jointedness may eventually lose the ability to hyperextend oneself. As a matter of fact, it is not true6 because the people who are unusually flexible, have a condition of

Recreational use of Pärnu river (essee)

Main problems are floods, agricultural pollution, pollution from the local communities, drainage system and flood plain grasslands. There is an excessive flooding in spring. The most known is the Soomaa swamplands flooding in april. It is called to be the fifth season. A lot of rich soil are situated near the pärnu river, for example some of the biggest farmlands are situated in the Järva county. 83% of phosphorus and 79% of nitrogen originates from human activities of the total discharge of biogenes from Pärnu River basin. The soil does not bind a huge amount of the nutrients. 65 % of the treatment plants are over 15 years of age and most of them are programmed in a way, that when the water level exceeds some point, the sewage water will be sent directly to the outflow or in some cases to some biopools. There are a lot of straight drainage systems, ditches and dykes near the forests and farmlands which used to be excessively damp

Companies advertise products on children's television. Many of these ads are for foods and drinks, which are not particulary good for children. In addition, the packages in supermarkets that include logos or cartoon characters are attracting children. Marketing targets children at a very impressionable age. Interview with Chinese lecturer

China. The lecturer believes that the reason why the overseas students in China learn faster than students in Estonia is the immersion to the language environment outside school, where they hear and must use Chinese daily. While the language environment in Estonia is lacking in the possibilities for students to learn Chinese, universities could encourage the learning and increase the motivation of students by organising more events and activities where the students have a possibility to use the language. The language teachers have also more responsibilities in China than in Estonia. In China they are required to organize various activities such as language practice lessons during weekends which are optional for students. The consulting hours when the lecturers are required to be in their office are also usually longer than in Estonia.

Volunteer work

I would like to join in and work with children. My name is Mari Mets and I am 18 years old. I speak Hungarian, English and Russian. I have a driving licence. Despite being 18 years old, I have organised holidays for youngsters before (2001 – Hungary; 2002 – Romania). In addition to that I have taken a course in child psychology (October – January 2000). Also, I really like children, I help with neighbour children on a regular basis. I could help with accommodation, organise games and activities, teach children various skills such as pottery, offer some help with general problems. I have some questions about the volunteer work. Where will the children be from? How long will the holidays be? What will living conditions be like? I look forward to hearing from you. Yours sincerely, M. Mets

International aid can contribute to fighting global poverty, hunger and help get access to medical care. It can also provide to solve problems like terrorism, rehabilitation and many other problems. However, receiving countries could misuse international aid. Money could use to fund illegal activities and the strengthening of armed forces. International aid should be used very wisely and judiciously, only then can we eliminate poverty and hunger and other problems in the world. Students tend to drop out because their expectations of college--academically, socially, or both--don't match up with the reality once they get there. „People can live one hundred years without really living a minute.“

,,People can live one hundred years without really living a minute." Hundred years is a long time compared to one minute, but many people claim that it is possible to wrap all of those years into that one minute. They have an opinion that all those years only count if you use the time completely, without wasting it on activities and choices that make you unhappy. On the one hand I agree with this statement, people often live their lives without ever doing anything useful or something that really makes them happy. They are often very materialistic and that forces them to make decisions that do not really make them happy and therefore they are not really using the time that they have been given. On the other hand, it is physically impossible for people to live hundred years without really living a minute.

Essay about museums

Nowadays there are many museums in every country and almost in every city. Despite that people still do not visit museums as much as doing other activities. What might be the reasons of this? There are certain arguments in favour of visiting museums. The first important advantage of museums is that it educates and broadens your mind. For example, when you go to visit the exhibition, you learn more about the painter and the story behind the picture. Another advantage of museums is that it represents the country. As a result tourists become more aware of our country. On the other hand, there are people who are against of visiting museums. The main
