A person must suffer from the results of his own unwise actions

A person must suffer from the results of his own unwise actions. We all have responsibility for our actions. And everything we do wrong we are responsible for. And some major mistakes we make we have to be ready to be punished for it. If we make mistakes in our life then we have to be ready to suffer the consequences. Like if we leave the school without finishing it. Then we don't have the needed education and then we can't get so good jobs. Nowadays to get a good and well paid job you need a good education. And when we don't then we have to accept with something not so good.

Reflective Statement Antigone

society. In the discussion we explored the nature of men and authority in comparison to the natural laws and traditions of the Gods. Sophocles expresses men as the all powerful and wonderful in his well-known "Ode to Man" in Antigone. A man "conquers all, taming with his techniques the prey that roam the cliffs and wild lairs, training the stallion, clamping the yoke across his shaggy neck, and the tireless mountain bull" (l.391-394)1, which portrays the audience all of the marvelous actions of men. At the same time, one common aspect that stands out in the midst of all the greatness is the artificialness of all men's actions. Men build boats to cross seas, houses to protect themselves from snow and rain and hunt animals for food all of these are actions which are working against nature. Creon is the character, who best symbolizes everything man-made, while Antigone is the one who is in connection with the Gods and nature

Water resources

Sustainable water resources systems are those designed and managed to best serve people living today and in the future. Säästev veevarude süsteemid on kavandatud ja juhitud, selleks et kõige parem teenindada inimestele, kes elavad praegu ja tulevikus. The actions that we as a society take now to satisfy our own needs and desires should depend not only on what those actions will do for us but also on how they will affect our descendants. This consideration of the longterm impacts on future generations of actions taken now is the essence of sustainable development.

American Literature Character Sketch-The Great Gatsby-Daisy

were young and way before Jay left to go to fight in the war. Daisy promised to wait for him, but instead she married Tom who promised her a wealthy and otherwise great life. To Gatsby, Daisy is charming, sophisticated and all other great things but in reality she is a shallow person who is in love with money and materialistic things. The love of Daisy is actually what drove Jay to reinvent himself and acquire extreme wealth through criminal actions. They were careless people, Tom and Daisy — they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness, or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made. Liisa-Maria Pihlak, 12B It was Nick, her cousin, who saw her for what she really was-a careless woman, who didn’t consider to think twice about her actions and the mess she made nor who had to clean it up. The Mayor Environmental Problems in Estonia

Air pollution is often caused by the exhaust fumes of the cars or by big factories. It affects nature and peoples health causing them breathing problems. Secondly, huge amounts of waste are being produced every day and it is all because of overconsumption. Although, in recent years peoples knowledge about recycling and using eco-friendly products have improved, there are more landfills in Estonia than ever before. The government should take some actions and instead of talking about recession, improve recycling programs. Last but not least, abuse of the natural resources is also a big problem in Estonia. Big fatories let their waste run into the rivers without cleaning it and farmers use man-made fertilizers. Their actions spoil groundwater. We must not take water for granted but we should conserve it. To sum up, we all should help the environment. We need to change our attitude, behaviour

The misguided nature of these assertions has a serious impact upon crime control strategies. The classical approach holds people to choose freely among alternatives in behaviour. In this view, the perpetrator plans his or her actions before carrying them out. The social environment in which the person is amidst of, is a key factor in causes of criminal behaviour, with weak or broken bonds to family, school, and religion being the catalyst of criminal behaviour. They may not see the benefits of adhering to conventional social values and believe crime is a way to improve their social conditions. NON-Continuous Verbs

suprise after seeing what's for lunch. Communication Verbs examples: He wants to be the best. Does dinosaur still exsist ? Sense Verbs example: It appears that it's not impossible to fly. Emotion Verbs example: It's amazing to possess that power. The easiest explanation to Non-continuous verbs is that those are the words we can't use in continuous forms. Most verbs talk about actions. State verbs don't talk about actions, they talk about states, feelings, possession, and things that happen inside our heads. You don't have to know all those verbs by heart! one of the best ways to avoid mistakes is to read as much as you can in English After a while, it will become easy for you to tell whether a given verb takes continuous form or not. The best ways to practice NON-Continious verbs: Listen carefully to what people say.

Teater NO99

Theatre NO99 I chose to write about this theatre because I like it the most. It is the most modern theatre I think and the plays are also most startling and astonishing, compare to other theatres in Estonia. It began to operate in February 2005, so it is one of the youngest theatres in Estonia. Probably that's why it is very different from the others and its repertoire is more contemporary then classical. Their first play what "Sometimes you feel that life will end and there hasn't been any love". The theatre also organizes so called one-time "actions", in which you can't be certain if it's going to be a success of failure, because the ideas are somewhat crazy. It has two theatre halls, but their plays have been staged in the open air as well. For example one time in an old swimming pool and also in three abandoned airplane hangars. Their imagination has no boundaries. The theatre'...

Truancy in school – individual responsibility

Students have many reasons why they are skipping school, mostly they do not like the teachers or the subjects that they are taught. They tend think that they won't need those subjects in their future life. Some children are just lazy and irresponsible. Also one serious reason is bullying. Bad relationships between the classmates make students to skip the classes. People, no matter how old they are should learn to take responsibility for their actions. However it does not refer to the small children who attend the primary school but they usually do not skip. The ones that do skip are mostly the students of the secondary and high school who are definitely old enough to take responsibility for their actions. If they think that they are already smart enough and do not need to study anymore then it is their choice and their parents should not be punished for their children making that decision

The Catcher in the Rye - kokkuvõte

The novel is a fantastic example of the coming of age genre, thanks to its various themes of rebellion, emotional and mental growth and indifferent, “I couldn’t care less” attitude. The themes are apparent throughout the novel, giving the reader a clear view of what it’s like to be a teenager, who has no idea what to do with their life. The rebellious tone of the novel and its characters shines out right from the beginning, not only through the actions, such as getting expelled or being in a fight, but also through the frequent use of profanities, which make the characters more realistic rather than adorned. Even though the themes and topics discussed in the novel make it rather relatable, I believe they also make it unsuitable for youngsters who have just reached adolescence. In addition to the frequent use of profanity, the at times strongly depressive, violent or sexual tone of the novel, alongside with the difficulty of the problems

We are talking about the future, but we use a present tense for the condition and will for the result. In this case, the person is sure about going to university. body into a trunk in the basement, which they fill up with cement. After her father’s death and mother’s illness, Julie becomes remote from her siblings, quiet and certain of her authority. Jack shared her thoughts about her as he described her as serious and efficient, and later he says that he suspected she was exploiting the position, that she enjoyed ordering me (Jack) about. To me, Julie seems immature and too young for all the responsibility she has to carry, she was unsure about her actions and she wasn’t ready for her role as the mother. She was constantly tired of little Tom wanting her attention. She may be more responsible than her brother Jack, on the other hand she is less analytical. Julie is often unable to see the consequences of her decisions and actions. For example, actions involving Derek into their lives, which also led to the exposure of their secret. Losing parents definitely had a large role in forming Julies character.

Introduction and history of the European Union

The Court of Auditors The European Court of Auditors, despite its name, has no judicial powers. It ensures that taxpayer funds from the budget of the European Union have been correctly spent. The court provides an audit report for each financial year to the Council and Parliament. The Parliament uses this to decide whether to approve the Commission's handling of the budget. The Court also gives opinions and proposals on financial legislation and anti-fraud actions. The Court of Auditors was set up in 1975. It was created as an independent institution due to the sensitivity of the issue of fraud in the Union. It is composed of one member from each state appointed by the Council every six years. Every three years one of them is elected to be the president of the court, who is currently Vítor Manuel da Silva Caldeira. EU decision making procedure The EU's standard decision-making procedure is known as 'codecision'. This means the

COURTS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION The Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU) refers to the whole judicial system of the EU. It is composed of three courts: the Court of Justice; the General Court; the Specialised Courts. Court of Justice The Court of Justice has jurisdiction in actions brought by Member States or European institutions. It may also have jurisdiction of last resort in judgments delivered by the General Court. In this case, it rules on the questions of law only and not on the facts of the case. General Court The General Court is attached to the Court of Justice and is designed to reduce that Court's workload. Internet piracy

attention. Although on the surface the act of file sharing may seem harmless, it is far from it. Each year, film and record production companies as well as software and video game companies suffer from billions of dollars in lost profits. This loss comes as a direct result of internet piracy. Many agree that file sharing is unethical and consider it to be no different than downright theft. On the other hand, there are those that support file sharing and claim that their actions are easily justified and ethical. File sharing simply is the process of making available and distributing files via the internet. Many freely developed applications have been made available that simplify this process, providing the ability to easily search for and upload any piece of digital content imaginable. These applications are commonly referred to as peer-to-peer (P2P) applications as they allow individuals to directly connect with other peers to share files

A letter of application

A Letter of Application Dear Madam, I am writing in connection with the appeal in Internatioanl Crisis Agency. According to the appeal, you are looking for volunteers to help the animals in danger of extinction. Although I am not a professional veterinarian, I would like to volunteer. I am a 22-year-old postgraduate intern. I have completed a course in consulting and I have a certificate in first aid. Futhermore I have helped in several actions that were going on in the wild areas to protect the spieces from extincting. As a result I have some experience in drastic situations. I do not know if I have any of the specialised skills that you need, but I could certainly help to protect those animals, give them first aid or any relevant prospective help they might need. All in all I would be very happy if I could be somewhat helpful. I would be thankful for further details and I could provide references if these are needed.

Letter of protest

protest is an expression of bearing witness on behalf of an express A cause by words or actions with regard to particular events, policies or situations. But why people protest? What are the reasons behind protest? The first thing that comes to my mind is that people protest because they live boring lives. They have nothing to do or they can find excitement anywhere. When something as exciting as protest happens those people might join it just to reduce the boredome in their lives. The other reason why people protest is peer pressure. During revolutions and protests
