If he had higher self-esteem and goals then I believe he would have achieved his purpose to win the heart of Lotte. Werther thinks that the only way to end his sorrows is to commit suicide but he does not have enough positivness to keep on fighting for her and start with accepting Lotte's friendship. He cannot find happiness and he takes the easy way out by ending his life with a suicide. In my opinion Werther was too negative. The only negative thing, I'd say about this film, is that it made me feel a little bit sad, because there weren't so many positive emotions and events, which would have made this film a little bit more enjoyable. I liked this film and I would recommend watching this film, because it's very useful, teaching and inspiring, especially for young people and teenagers, who might have problems communicating and accepting other people, as the way they are. Set in 1954 US Marshall Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) accepts the case of a missing woman who has escaped from a mental institute for the criminally insane. He is assigned a new partner Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo). Teddy though has another reason for accepting the case, to find a man he believes killed his wife. He is haunted by images of his past atrocities committed in World War II and by visions of his dead wife. As he investigates he becomes more and more sure that there is something sinister being kept secret on the island and more afraid that he may never escape.
