Martin Luther King Jr. ''I have a dream'' kõne analüüs

The use of metaphors can already be seen in the following sentence: ‘’One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination’’. The metaphorical use of the words ‘’chains’’ and ‘’manacles’’ in that statement help the audience to visualize the impact of discrimination and segregation. The black community being bound my the chains of discrimination prevented them from being able to rise up. Chains and manacles can also be seen as objects that bring back memories among African Americans that once experienced criminal injustice by the police due to institutional discrimination. Perhaps the most frequently used literary device in this speech would be repetition. The phrase ‘’I have a dream’’ is used a number of times throughout the speech and is also the name of the speech. The Broken Rainbow, inglise keele omalooming, vigade parandus

The Broken Rainbow vigade parandus It rained so hard that I couldn’t see anything. Then suddenly, when the rain stopped, I looked out the window. I saw a rainbow, but this rainbow was different – the colours were all wrong! Then I looked around and noticed that all of the colors were different! The colors were like black, grey and white. I wasn’t able to understand what was going on. Then I saw a big wave coming. I thought that I was going to die. I started to run. I ran to the forest. There were also everything wrong. The trees were black and their leaves were brown and white, instead of green. I wasn’t able to understand anything. I saw things that could not be possible and thing that I had never seen before. I got out of the woods. I reached the town gates. They were locked

Mobile operators should avoid becoming mere merchandise by boosting the potential of their networks for value added services to become a part of a US$ 422.6 billion industry. One of the latest innovations is the ability to remote provisioning of IoT devices used in hazardous locations, by using an embedded sim which takes away the need to access the sim physically. Mobile networks might have to be upgraded to recognize services in order to be able to provide the necessary bandwidth. Migratory services will likely make the use of location information and geo-fencing critically important, meaning the network has to identify the device to know whether it might be a car involved in an accident or a device that is moving but should not be. It is probably important for the IoT services to be able to withstand an enormous amount of identical devices and applications sending information through the network. Diverse methods

Most of us know different models, first of all Carmen Kass then there is such famous names like Heidi Klum, Karolina Kurkova and many other celebrities. Model work seems simple, but its not. It is hard and takes your time. You have to be bright and not to be shy for anything what connects your body. You have to be able to change clothes quickly, otherwise you will loose your battle for being the next top model of the hole world. Firstly, I would like to point out that the most annoying things are that the screen colour is totally wrong and I am unable to receive any new messages. Secondly, I have to say that the on/off switch gets stuck almost daily, so I can not use my phone like I should be able to use it. Thirdly, I have encountered some problems with the sound and also with the camera. That means the camera will not focus and I can not hear any ringtone at all. How can we reduce air pollution levels in our cities

How can we reduce air pollution levels in our cities? Is our cities a safe place for us? Tons of harmful gases emit to the air everyday. Factories have caused this problem. We need to do something fast before our city doesn`t become deserted. Firstly, we have to create industrial park. It will help to reduce factories in the cities, where a lot of people live. Another solution is to start stricting the laws. If the laws be very strict, then less and less persons will be able to get a license for the new factory. Finally, we should renovate our factories. Modern plant emit less unhealthy gases. This would allow us to start a policy, which will help to clean our environment. In conclusion, there are many ways to make our cities a better place to live. Retell Global Warming

but recently, people have also started altering the climate. We are sending more and more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. The average global temperature has increased by about 0.5 °C over the past century. Scientist expect it to increase up to an additional 3 °C over the next on 100 years. People who are living in cold places may have a chance to grow new crops if the climate gets warmer. At the same time in some parts of the world, people won't be able to grow the food they need. Global warming will make the sea level higher because it'll make the glaciers melt. When water expands in the ocean, it takes up more space and the level of the seas rise. If global warming gets worse, some kinds of plants and animals will become extinct. So as a result we have to slow down the global warming.

on the secret. After a lighthearted meal, Bella realizes it's getting late and she needs to go home, but Jacob quickly lets her know the night is for more than fun. The elders then tell the stories of the pack's origins and legends that have been passed down for generations. While Emily takes notes, Billy tells the story of how the Quileutes came to be werewolves. They were originally spirit warriors, able to leave their bodies to defend their tribe, but when the last great chief, Taha Aki, merged his spirit with that of a wolf after Utlapa, a traitorous warrior, stole his body, the werewolves were created. They discovered that as long as a warrior chose to continue changing into his wolf form he would not age. As Billy's tale ends, Old Quil begins the tale of the third wife's sacrifice. Taha Aki saw his third wife as his true mate and gave up his wolf form so that he could grow old with her.

Buying on credit is an alternative way

MONOLOGUE Buying on credit is an alternative way INTRODUCTION: Buying on credit is an alternative way, it is said because it is a form of borrowing. MAIN BODY: First of all, credit card offer us a useful form of short term borrowing if you can repay your bill in each month. For example, when you are travelling or just need to unexpectedly make a ig purchase. However, before deciding to borrow money it is important to know if you will be able to repay it back in the future. People must know that free lunches don't exist and anyway they must pay later. PERSONAL OPINION In my opinion credit card is an ,,easy money" and often peole don't know what happens later. We should live according to our abilities and don't buy things when we haven't got enough money. CONCLUSION So, as you can see buying on credit is an alternative method and we should use it only then, when we know if we can afford the repayments.

From: Kevin Raev , Assistant Manager Subject: Assessment report of Marco´s suggesting changes Introduction. The purpose of this report is to assess the good and bad points of the Marco´s fast food restaurant. Food and Prices Furthermore the meals are good value for money as the prices are quite reasonable. However the clients are complaining that there are not many dishes to choose from, so we need more meals. Service The staff are very friendly and and helpful and they are able to make helpful suggestions about the menu. However the service is a little short handed, It would be a good idea to hire extra people during the lunch and dinner time for rushes so that the service is always fast and efficient Atmosphere There is friendly relaxed atmosphere in our restaurant. . However the restaurant is old and not very clean. Conclusion Marco's is a fast food restaurant with reasonable prices. If you would consider changes I

Minu suvi!

We rode a lot with horses and sometimes after workout we went swimming with them. Me and my friends took part in a movie which was made by Estonian and German people. It was filmed in beach Matsi and I really enjoyed that experience. In August me and my horse Estrella wanted to compete with other horses, but unfortunately I couldn't go to that race. A day before the race a horse hit me in the ribs and I wasn't able to move for a few days. My summer ended in Toila, where I worked with Tuuli. We handed out different leaflets and recommended people to drive safe. In conclusion I made some new friends and relaxed a lot in summer. Best wisher, Berit.

War Horse inglisekeelne ülevaade

But when the war approached, they had to sell the horse in order to pay the bills. The horse, named Joey, travelled long distances and met many people. Everyone who saw Joey, wanted it to themselves. Finally, when the war was nearing it's end, Albert and Joey were reunited. I liked the movie because it told a compelling story about friendship and it taught us never to give up hope. The chances for Albert to see Joey again were very thin but luckily Joey was able to come back to it's true owner. I also liked the acting many of the actors did. It was top notch.

It is only knowledge produced with difficulty that we truly value. To what extent do you agree with this statement?

Easily produced scientific knowledge tends to have little value and it’s because scientific knowledge is mainly discovered and not everything will be discovered at once. First theories are formed based off of existing facts and information and then scientists look for evidence to support their theories. Sometimes they succeed and sometimes they don’t. In the case of the discovery of DNA structure and function it took countless trials and errors before Watson and Crick were able to propose the double helix. To accomplish that they relied heavily on the discoveries that other scientists had made 1 before them. Mainly on Rosalind Franklin’s X-ray diffraction images of DNA.1 The knowledge obtained took a lot of effort from many different scientists along with a lot of time to produce. The information is very useful and it is found to be very valuable, without

Nobody can win a war

But is it worth fighting? Are there any winners or losers in war? Firstly, both sides get bored with a feud. It makes much money, physical and moral strength. Not only soldiers civilian population gets tired of being in a danger and worrying about relatives and friends. Secondly, the consequences of a war are horrible. Terrible memories would not leave people. Every time they recall those events, they suffer again because no one is able to make somebody happy fighting. Thirdly, a lot of people die. Families lose their breadwinners and children become orphans. Moreover, some of them may become homeless, it takes lots of time to rehabilitate and restore cities. Hunger and illnesses make innocent people unhappy. All in all, despite the fact that we live in the XXI century, we have not understood yet that not any purpose of war can justify people's lives and that nobody can win a war.

Ways of using the money to benefit the environment and the..

One another suggestion would be to use this money to arrange parks and children's playgrounds. In this way, there will be a good place where to walk and play. Moreover, children could play in a protected place. Another good solution would be to buy christmas decorations. By doing this, the city will be beautiful and people will always be in a good mood and they also will be happier. Conclusion On the whole, I believe that if we consider some of the suggestions above, we will able to create a safer environment and a friendly community. In this way, the public will have a clear understandig of the aim of our community and also will be interested in helping.

Real conditions

 If I were you wouldn’t do that NOTE We normally use were instead of was in conditional sentences.  I’d go to the cinema, if i weren’t so tired. Ekke Kaha WISHES We use the verb wish when we want to say that we would like something to be different in the present. We use the past simple, as in unreal conditional sentence, to make a wish about present. We can also use could/was able to.  I wish i could run really fast. Ekke Kaha

A letter to the editor

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing about the recent article in Tuesday’s edition of the Westvale Herald to express my disapproval of the Westvale Council’s decision to sell Longheath Park to a property developer. In my opinion, this is a really bad idea. Firstly, if the park is sold there will be no open spaces left. Therefore, children will not be able to play freely, and people will have nowhere to walk their dogs, ride their bicycles and so forth. What is more, there will be very few green areas in town. Obviously, this is very unhealthy, as people need fresh air and natural surroundings for good health. Finally, the town will be crowded and built up. This will mean that there will be more traffic and pollution, and the town will no longer be a nice place to live. To sum up, I think it is a terrible idea

Report: Suggested improvements to the shop

To: Tim Burton From: Ester Kängsepp Subject: Suggested improvements to the shop Date: 28th Feb 2013 1) Purpose The purpose of this report is to suggest ways to make the shop more profitable. 2) Shop condition The shop condition is at this moment very bad. Shop has lost many customers and it has changed a lot lately- has become not so attractive like it used to be and income has decreased because of that. Firstly, it would be a good idea to make some flayers about the shop’s planned changes. 3) Shop’s apperance Secondly, I think it would be useful to refresh shop’s appearance. Paint it all over again and redecorate the interior. Customers would like that and it will invite new people to the shop. 4) Increasing the shop’s income Finally, we could organize market days, when the prices are low and there are a lot of different goods. This is the way, how to get people to the shop and it will increase the income and pro...

IS PEER PRESSURE MORE USEFUL THAN HARMFUL?

Good peer pressure is basically motivation. On the ohter hand, peer pressure often makes people feel like they need to change who they are to belong in group. It forces people to lose their own identity. It will also likely result in having many bad habits during your teenage years, which are difficult to change when you get older, like drinking and smoking. Peer pressure has both good and bad sides. If you can use peer pressure to develope your character while being able to maintain yourself it is very useful. But you must not forget your identity or you might catch some bad habits. @

Setomaa

The handicraft of Seto women is fine and colourful. Seto people are known for their original runic verse folk song - leelo. A Leelo choir consists of a chanter and the choir. The chanter is a good improviser. The verses recited by the chanter are repeated by the choir. One of the singers in the choir sings the kille - the highest pitch. The most outstanding chanters came to be called lauluimä (the mother of songs). The best chanters were able to recite 10 000 - 20 000 verses. The Seto folk dance is called kargus. Men and women dance separately, not in pairs. At earlier times in each village there was at least one good musician who was able to play the accordion or zither. Sightseeing places: Holy Slavic Springs in Izborsk. According to an ancient legend, when Dooms- day arrives and water disappears from everywhere, the springs will remain as the only waterbodies in the environs of Izborsk. There are four churches in Izborsk

Revolutionary period literature

Revolutionary period literature 17661799 Geographical lines were now forgotten, the literature of this period is no longer local. Literature presents the vivid reflection of that momentous struggle for independence upon which the American colonies had entered. Fiery speeches, able arguments set forth in newspapers and in pamphlets, sharp and bitter satire. From the beginning of the conflict to the end, there was a copious flow of verse which sprang naturally enough from the turbulence of popular excitement and emotion. Having children while young

Having children while young Some people say that having childern while young is the best time of your life. However, being a child has both advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side, you will still remember what's like to be a kid. Sure you will remember that in your 30s and 40s, but the more younger you are the more likely you are able to truly understand and relate to your child. All in all It's difficult to be sympathetic to someones problems when you dont know what they are going throught. However, for every plus side there is a minus. For one thing, you have to spend all day with your kid and can't go out when ever you want to. Sometimes when you are getting a child while you are still studying in a school you have to drop out of scool and go to work. But that means you cant acquire better knowledge ,

How global warming will change the way we live in future?

Hello ladies and gentelmans Today I'm going to talk about how global warming will change the way we live in future. In fact durning the twentieth century global temperature went up by over 0,7 Celsius degree. It looks pretty small number but even slight Climate change leads to serious consequences. Firstly, global warming will cause that glaciers start to melt. And as a result, the water level will raise and cities and villages which are located near oceans and sees will be flooded. Secondly, if we don't stop global warming, we will bserve more examples of extreme weather such as heat waves, storm clouds, which may lead to floods, droughts and forest fires. Next conseqences of global warming is that oceans temperature will go up. It is likely that it will cause an increase in activity of hurricanes, what will cause many unimaginable destructions. Also, ice will start to melting in Alaska, so it will lead to extremination of ma...

The second and the biggest boom started in 1960s when the first communication satellite was launched into orbit. There are 4 main media: Newspapers, TV, Radio and the Internet. Today's people take this as an ordinary thing and we don't realise that we nearly can't live without it. Media are very important for us. They give us big amount of information, so big that we can't remember all that things. They help us to understand things and if you have lots of information you are able to make your own decisions.
