The Ideal School for my children

helping children learn to help themselves. The children would be completely free to set up their own schedules. However, they would be held accountable for achieving their goals every week. There would be no grades until 7.class-there would be feedback from mentors and peers. Teachers would be in constant contact with one another. They would work together to implement cross curricular material and to provide continuity. They would be able to work together to follow a student through which ever path they have chosen (through different places). They would be able to bring their respective groups of students together in a virtual environment to work as one to solve a problem or tutor each other. Children should not be asked how to wear their uniforms. They should be able to wear it to whatever makes them feel comfortable. If they are asked to wear it a certain way this would push them into doing wrong. Students should not be

How to keep Estonians in Estonia - kirjand

How to keep Estonians in Estonia? In my opinion the first thing to do would be changing out politicians. I feel like the only thing they want is to make teir lives better, not the average person's. Whatever it is that they change it only drives Estonians away. I think that if everyone could get higher education for free they wouldn't have to get a student loan which they are not able to pay back after graduating. They have to get a well-paid job. But here in Estonia you can't get a great job unless you have a relative who's a top executive. Because of this many people go to a foreign country for a short time. At least that's what they say. Most of my friends and relatives who have gone abroad years ago are sure they are never coming back to live in Estonia. I'm not sure if it would help to keep Estonians in Estonia if kids would have a normal childhood but

The Visual Image Person on the picture A is not important to the visual image, as well he should be able to play music. The model on picture B is definitely a visual image so important because it relates to his work. An artist in picture C visual image is not important for him,as the ability to draw or paint. Cook in picture D is not visual image important as well he should be able to make food. The official in picture E is visual image important because he must be creadible that he could give advise. It is hard to say which job is the most difficult to do well. I do not judge people on how they look, because the first impression may be wrong decision. In my opinion I think the fashion and art is influenced people's perception of beauty and ability, because people have been accompanied by the current fashion and it will become more beautiful by following it

It is sad to state the fact that the percentage of dissatisfied respondents is higher than the percentage of people who satisfied of their life. The second group of people are more positive. They like to live in Estonia. However, this people is too agreeable that "It is necessary to work and be able to survive." However, still there is a tendency in politics and dissatisfaction with the political situation in the country. Each is based on our personal experience and what he sees around him. Opinions differ, but is confident that most will converge in one- it is not easy to live in Estonia and you cannot live only by subsidy. You've got to be able to adapt and be competitive, in other words, "must be able to Survive." So how to adapt and survive in Estonia?

The name itself refers to the exact reason we are special our mental capability. What does ability to think give us and how does it affect out world? Human is a social being and cannot live without expressing himself. In order to communicate clearly we have developed a vast system of symbols languages. There are over 6000 different languages in the world and each language comes with a different culture. Because of our ability to remember, humans are able to transmit information from generation to generation. Humans know their history, because we remember what we have created. Our world-view is more than what is seen to the eye. Homo sapiens is a developing species. Our body has changed and so has our mind. We understand concepts like time (past, present, future), religion, philosophy and moral behaviour. A human is curious, asks questions and finds answers. Unlike animals, we are conscious of our inner thoughts, desires and sensations

hostile conquerors in several hundreds of years. During the past centuries the indigenous nations of the Baltic States have developed deep distrust against their neighbours no matter how well-intentioned they try to appear. As we know, quite a few empires have used Messianism as a weapon to serve their own interests. As a rule, the powerful states make an effort to convince the conquered states of the fact that they actually provide support to the little ones who would not be able to survive without them. In case one of these small countries succeeds in gaining independence, the fear of possible occupation in future still remains. As for the problems of integration of the Russian community in the Republic of Estonia, it is very likely that the xenophobia of the local population has brought about the development of the closed Russian community. Clearly, it is a most paradoxical situation: on the one hand, xenophobia has helped us to preserve our culture and nation

Why do we learn the English language?

Why we learn the english language? It is necessary to learn foreign languages. That´s why the pupils have such subjects as a foreign language at school. Everybody knows his own language, but it is useful to know foreign languages. I learn English, because I understand that I can use it. For example, if I go to England I shall be able to speak English there. If I go to the USA, I shall speak English too, because English is used not only in England, but also in other parts of the world. I leran English because I want to read foreign literature in the original. I know and like such English as Ch.Dickens, M.Twain, L.Carroll and others. I understand that I must learn English. If I know English well, shall be able to go to the library and take books by English and American writers in the original. I like to travel

Dear social worker

Dear social worker I am writing because of my concern about my elderly neighbor. She is a really friendly 80-year old lady but she is not able to do everyday jobs to live normal life. I have helped her to cope with everyday life but next year I will leave to other city to attend university and I think she is not able to continue without any help. Usually after school I go and visit her to ask if she needs something from shop or pharmacy. She also has problems using her mobile phone to call her friends or healthcare persons, which I also has helped her to do. Once a week I have helped her with cleaning her apartment. Sometimes

Why learn English?

Not to mention the fact that people can use it for communication with eachother. In my opinion it is not necessary to learn that country's mother tongue while most of the people are able to talk in English. I find that English connects different people and helps us to feel like a big multicultural family. In addition to that it is a whole lot easier to find a job abroad, if you are fluent in English, because they are looking for workers who are able to talk with no language barrier and it shows that you are open to different challenges. All in all, I find that learning English is extremely important and useful, because we can use it everywhere and everytime.

online help for the problems. Some people are smarter, while others do not. Also I hate thinking like all people need to be good at any skill. It's impossible, there are smart people and creative people, never both, who have both skills have poor skills. And we are not able to change this. As one wise man said: ,,Nobody really learns anything by force". Of course the important thing is being able to use those facts well, quickly and under pressure. But there are people who don't manage anything and they will not survive in our modern society. Finally, I would say that exams are pointless . A good degree is absolutely no guarantee of a good job. There are people who don't manage anything and they will not survive in our modern society. However, we always need people who do the dirty jobs.

First advantage would be living in a foreign country, a new language is quaranteed to be learned. While communicating with other people, a person may find himself around new possible friends. Secondly, gaining the new experiences could change one´s life forever. Every country has its own culture and it is claimed that spending some time abroad makes a person able to see cultural differences from another perspective. It also broadens the horizons. Unfortunately there are some disadvantages, such as at first you may not know the language, so that you will not be able to communicate with people in their local language. Visiting the country for the first time can be difficult because everything is new and unfamiliar. Moreover, getting homesick is the main disadvantage, because everybody starts out as strangers and family is far away

He would need to be open to the ideas of commitment, marriage, and starting a family someday, because that is very important to me. My ideal mate would be a wonderful husband and father. He should be able to openly communicate his thoughts and feelings and share everything that is important to him with me. Instead of doing that students are using their smartphones class and not paying attentoin to teacher who is trying to educate them. A lot of knowledge is getting lost because of the smartphones. This can lead to bad grades or even dropping out of school. Some people are not able to be 10 minutes away from their smartphones and this is bad. Smartphones are also bad for your eyes and posture. On the other hand smartphones can be very useful. You are able to search for information very quickly. Using them in class can make students take up knowledge more easily because the environment is more comfortable for them. Also doing tests in smartphones can be easier for students. Doing tests trough smartphones is also easier for teachers. Smartphones can also help you

Computers are an essential part of our daily lives One of the most important thing nowadays is absolutly computer. This is part of technology which helps you in each area. Computers today are one of the essential things what we are using. They have helped a lot in compiling a lot data which used to be in hard records. One of the uses or benefits of computers is that they are able to provide and retrieve information so quickly so they have increased the pace of our work. The increase in the speed of work has helped us to do many things with less resources like in past a lot of manpower was used for record keeping and files and other things were made to keep the records saved. Background music Secondly, I think it would be useful to use background music in the shop. Background music keeps customers comfortable and relaxed. Keeping your employees happy is just as important as doing the same for your customers. Without good employees, you'll never be able to reach the level of sales you need to in order to keep things rolling. Playing background music can take your employees' minds off of whatever might be bothering them, and will almost always improve one's mood throughout the course of a day. It should also be noted that since employees spend a great deal of their day at your store, you should try to switch up the music as much as possible. Credit cards - a blessing or a curse

By using a credit card, you can get the thing you need and do not have to worry about money until later. On the other hand, to have a credit card might create a big problem if you do not control your accounts carefully, because you can spend more money that you would have wanted to by accident. You also have to keep in mind, that you should not give your credit card to anyone else. Not even a friend or a family member. It is not because you can not trust them, but because, you will not be able to control the purchases made with your card. In the end, you will be the one who has to pay the credit card company back. All in all, credit cards are very useful, but you have to be very careful while using them. If you are able to control all your accounts and the purchases made with your card, getting one can really help to make shopping easier.

The space age in the next 50 years

The space age in the next 50 years The space age began about 50 years ago with the launch of sputnik, the first man-made object in space. Since then, spaceflight technologies have grown up. Within the 50 years we have achieved much in the spacelife, such as landing on the moon etc. Things what were impossible 50 years ago are nowdays reality. But what will happen in the next 50 years? In the first place people will be able to take trips into the space. And that`s predicted to be happening in short time through the Virgin Galactic, which plans to provide sub-orbital spaceflights to the paying public. Currently about several hundred people have already booked a seat on that plane, which costs $200 000 per person. What is more that by 50 years time I think that we will have found life on other planets. As there are proofs that there once were a water on Mars so it`s likely thath life has existed there.

Competition good or bad ?

When we must compete with other people, we want to be best or at least good. As a result, we are ready to do things that maybe are difficult or boring, but improve our skills. For example, if estonian proffessional skier Kristina Smigun wants to win a gold medal, she has to focus on the upcoming contest. That means to train every day without complaining about the lack of free time. Furthermore, competition is needed in order to be able to compare different things. If we do not compete, we can not ever know who is stronger, better and smarter. We can only say our own subjective opinion. For instance, If we need to make university admission tests, we all know, the smartest win.Clearly we understand that all have chances to win, because everyone must pass the same test and have equal chances to prepare for it. Opponents of this view say that the competition is not necessary, because we can not

The most important technological invention

between Los Angeles and New York. I can only assume that the tickets had to cost a fortune in the beginning, but the time spared was and is still worth it, as the plane tickets do not even cost so much nowadays, it is perhaps the cheapest and the fastest way to travel. The secound reason why i thought that a plane ment for passengers is the greatest invention is that it is an technological wonder. I still find it hard to believe, that a metal construction, that is enormously heavy is able to take off from the ground and fly. Every piece of the plane has been exactly measured and no mistakes are allowed, since every false calculation can cause multiple deaths. The fact that engineers have accomplished to make the plane fly and carry passengers with an almost zero risk is extraordinary and it is one of the reasons why i want to be an engineer, to be able to understand the things that seem so simple to us, but when you think about it, it makes no sense.

Speech: Ideas are our greatest weapons

I think that all of you have come across some contests, where good ideas are being searched. For example, several months ago I noticed a contest made by very well-known technology company that was searching for new ideas to implement, which prize pool was up to 2000€. It sounds like a big amount of cash, doesn't it ? In reality, that 2000€ for a company like that is NOTHING, but if your idea finds use in everyday life, then they are able to make Millions out of your idea. Yes, millions, which is significantly bigger amount than they are offering you. Don't sell your ideas for a penny, try to carry them out yourself and make your dreams come true. In conclusion I want all of you to understand that ideas are the mightiest things in world, come up with an amazing thing and you are able to have the whole world on your hands. Since money is very important in this world I would like you to think about William J

The statue of Zeus at Olympia

To remedy this, a statue was commissioned for the inerior – a magnificent statue of Zeus that would become one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The sculptor chosen for this great task was a man named Phidias. He began working on the statue around 440 B.C. When the stature was completed, it barely fitted in the temple. The first archaeological work on the Olympia site was done by group of French Scientists in 1829.They were able to locate the outlines of the temple and found the fragments of the sculpture. The fragments ate still on display today at the Louvre. The next expedition, that came form Germany in 1875, worked at Olympia for five summers. Staffing - Xculture

As countries have different legal systems the persons hired to the legal department have to be familiar with the local laws for sales and trading and also with the local labour law. The best way to be ensured of that is to hire local staff to make sure the paperwork and legal side is correct and according to the law. To succeed entering the new market the marketing department would need to hire locals as they know the Nigerian market and are able to create suitable and succesful marketing plans and stategies to enter the market and increase the sales of the company. This is a department that may also hire an expatriate, who is acquainted with the new market and has marketing background and experience to work together with the local staff. As entering a new market is expecting to enlarge sales, the production department in Ghana should be augmented, to be able to supply both the old and the new market. Since all the production

"Legal english vs everyday english" speech

understand and follow them correctly. For example, a lease tries to regulate the way a tenant uses a property. That purpose cannot be achieved if the tenant cannot understand the lease. So lets be honest, having a tenant comply with a lease is so much better than taking action against a tenant for not complying with it. In addition to that not using legal English can save you a lot of time and money it gets your point and message across and people actually are able to understand it, which means your clients won't be calling you as often to get explanations and they will also be making fewer errors while they fill out important forms. So it can definitely be said that using plain language may help you save time, resources and most importantly you will be able to give better service to your clients. Legal English certainly has its disadvantages, but in order to be a respectable lawyer, one should know the importance of legalese even

this will finally stop him. And it works. He pulls away, smiles and shuts his eyes, and after answering Bella that he is indeed finished, she punches him in the mouth as hard as possible, injuring her hand in the process. Once he realizes what's happened, Jacob tries to soothe her but she yells at him to get away saying she's leaving at once. Jacob stays calm, offering her a ride home. She refuses and thinks to herself that if she can just get to the treaty line Alice will be able to "see" her and send Edward to pick her up. Jacob insists on driving her, and she finally accepts. During the entire drive back to Forks Jacob repeatedly frustrates Bella with references to the kiss, saying even that it was incredible and professing that she doesn't have to change anything to be with him. No matter how many times Bella asserts that she can't and doesn't want to be happy without Edward, Jacob relentlessly urges her to "just think about it."

Cheetah The cheetah is most famous for its speed. It is the world's fastest land animal, having been known to run at speeds up to 70 mph. However, it is able to sustain this pace for only a short period of time. It weighs between 90 and 140 pounds, stands at about 36 inches tall, and measures 72 inches in length. Not only is the cheetah's physical shape designed for speed, but it has other special features as well. For instance, the spine of the cheetah is flexible enough to act as a spring when the cheetah runs. It

But what about the other two thirds? Is is better for them to have not been able to use this huge network, or is it a bad thing? The first biggest concerns are the communication sites because they are used too often and they tend to change the view how we understand the term ,,personal relationships". inside the doghouse. Slowly another little ball appeared; this One noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward manner the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up.... "I want that one," the little boy said, pointing to the runt. The farmer knelt down at the boy's side and said, "Son, you don't want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would." With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers. In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself To a specially made shoe. Looking back up at the farmer, he said, "You see sir, I don't run too well myself, and he will need Someone who understands."
