Haridusfilosoofia Dewey

He affirms the idea that the principle of organization is not foreign to experience, but rather they go together. Otherwise, experience would become so scattered, it would seem chaotic (p. 82). In order for experiences to be educational, they must extend into an expanding world of subject matter consisting of facts, information, and ideas. The educator must view teaching and learning as a continuous process of reconstructing experience. This occurs only when the educator can look to the future with the perspective of viewing each present experience as a moving force that influences future experiences (Dewey, 1938, p. 87). The challenges for the educator are in the formation of ideas, putting those ideas into action, observing the conditions that result, and in organizing facts and ideas for future use (Dewey, p. 88).

Position Paper The Kingdom of Belgium

We think that the NATO countries should constantly upgrade their nuclear arsenal, to be compatible with other nuclear power countries, such as Russia, The Republic of North Korea and many others. At the moment The Kingdom of Belgium holds in their possession with some other NATO countries the American type B-61 nuclear warheads. We think that by possessing nuclear weapons a country sends out a message not to attack them, as we can see in the example of Pakistan and India. In the future, we would love to see a world without nuclear bombs, but at the moment we just cannot allow us that, because of the conflicts, that are threatening world peace. III. Foreign Military Intervention in Internal Conflicts According to 2014 statistics, as presented by the Fragile State Index, one hundred and twenty-six countries are considered less than stable, with thirty-four countries being in an alert status. Green Technologies - kokkuvõte

Green Technologies - innovation and climate change sustainagility Scientists can examine ice, but they cannot tell out anything about our future. Even if scientist has lived thousand years he won't be able to do it. The graph in video shows that the amount on carbon dioxide rises and then rises the temperature, but it is not so, it is exactly the opposite. One way to save energy is to build better buildings, because big headquarters are built to last only for 30-35 years. Building them up and pulling them down needs a lot of energy and about 30% of building energy is spent on it.

Work or university?

Negative sides are that it's not easy to get a job if doesn't have an education. Employees tend to prefer employers who have a good education and work experience. The second choice is to go to university after finishing secondary school. In Estonia, a lot of people are going to university. Then you can get an academic education. Positive sides are that people who go there are more intelligent and get broad horizons. They also get a lot of knowledge which makes more money in the future. People with higher education have better possibilities to get a profitable job. Negative sides are that young people often doesn't know their real vocation. They don't know who they want to be in the future. Then may happen that they spend time for years and are not satisfied with chosen profession. Thirdly there is also a possibility to work aside the university, but it's not easy. In conclusion I would like to say that, it's always better to study and then go to work,

Ideal marriage

Both man and woman need to respect each other, including their duties, rights and responsibilities towards one another. In my opinion, a perfect marriage has to be a partnership. Both husband and wife need to be able to speak their minds without feeling judged or worse, ignored. Furthermore, one of the most important aspects to happy marriages is the couples ability to stand together and plan their future. It is especially vital for newlyweds to have clear plans for their upcoming life together. For example, i think it is very important for both sides to express their wishes on whether or not they want children in the near future. Marriage should not be rushed into. I think it is very important for both sides to acknowledge the fact that tying the knot too early in life can lead up to a divorce. In my

The space age in the next 50 years

What is more that by 50 years time I think that we will have found life on other planets. As there are proofs that there once were a water on Mars so it`s likely thath life has existed there. In the next 50 years hopefully the technology will be so advanced that it`s also possible for a man to step on the ground of mars. Right now there`s only the Exploratio Rover what does all of the researches on Mars for us. Furthermore I think that in the future our spacerockets will be so hi-tech that we`re able to travel to ohter solar systems. Right now it would take a whole lifetime to get to the ohter solar systems, who would want to lay down their life for that? There will need to be many advances in technology, but we will get there eventually. We have gain incredible knowledge with the first 50 years on space. We can only speculate what kind of discoveries will the next 50 years bring. Prediction is difficult, especially the future

children’s decisions until the children are 18. However, other people say that children should be given a chance to solve their problems on their own. There are parents who prefer to make all decisions for their kids. Some of them do it because they are afraid to see their child suffering through setbacks, others do not want to give their children the freedom of doing their own choices. In my opinion those kids in the future could have some problems with self-confidence. As a result, it will be harder for them to live in the world where nobody tells you what is best or how to do something, or even which of these sofas would look better in your living room. To my mind, it will be easier to go out on their own for those kids, whose parents gave them an opportunity to make their own choices. If a 3- year-old child would pick a t-shirt for himself it does not really make a

Argumentative presentation: Estonia does need a nuclear power station

Good evening. My name is Margus and I will be talking to you about why does Estonia needs a nuclear power station. My talk consists of 3 parts: the current situation, renewables and how can nuclear power save Estonia from an energy crisis. My talk will last for 2-3 minutes and questions can be asked at the end. Power consumption is increasing exponentially in all civilised countries. Estonia's coal based power generation is becoming obsolete in the near future. The question arises : "Where will the future generations get the energy that they need?". First of all, in the current year, the power consumption reached the highest of all tomes in February. Most of the energy shortage was covered by energy brought from Lithuania. Energy was produced there from gas imported from Russia. That is not a reliable source of energy that can scale. In addition, Estonia does not have an adequate electricity grid network with neighboring countries

Technology and choice

Technology is developing too fast, mayby someday we even have a choice to choose of what kind a baby we would like to have. It would be nice to choose a baby of your own, wouldn't it ? Firstly, It depens on a persons point of wiew. For some people it's definetly wrong and demonic. Others say it would be awesome and interesting , experience of life. secondly, technology isn't ready for that, we are already changing evolution by abortion. But mayby in the future we have a choice of what kind a baby we would like. You'll never know, perhaps they will make a menu and you can select a baby of your own taste. You could choose a girl with hot body and kind heart. In addition you could make her intelligence high, make her tall and give her hobbies. I think that it may be nice to choose hair color and eye color, and even gender. But choosing whether he/she will be smart, stupid or tall is just a bit wierd for me. We'ev been living this

What does it mean to be human? In order to understand who is a human we need to understand what separates us from animals. The word ,,human" comes from homo sapiens which is Latin for ,,wise man". The name itself refers to the exact reason we are special our mental capability. What does ability to think give us and how does it affect out world? Human is a social being and cannot live without expressing himself. In order to communicate clearly we have developed a vast system of symbols languages. There are over 6000 different languages in the world and each language comes with a different culture. Because of our ability to remember, humans are able to transmit information from generation to generation. Humans know their history, because we remember what we have created. Our world-view is more than what is seen to the eye. Homo sapiens is a developing species. Our body has changed and so has our min...

Global warming

In addition to natural ways, humankind helps along to the process of desertification that eventually leads to global warming. The main reasons are the fast growth of the population and it's consequences too intensive animal raising and the arable lands that are made too fast for the nature to adjust. As I said before desertification eventually leads to global warming. Glaciers and permafrost have decreased dramatically on both side of hemisphere. In the future in the South-Europe the temperature in summers may rise so high that people will have to find temporary refuges in the mountains. I've thought about what should be done and I honestly don't know what to do to make the message clear to everybody, to people who actually have the power to make a difference. It comes to my mind that a difference can be made all together. People so far have acted careless and not thinking ahead too far in the future. There have

Essay living forever

Essay : What age you would choose to be if you could stay the same age forever ?  Appearance Health  Daily routine Health  Independence Winsdom Do you really want to live forever, forever and ever? What’s the use of everlasting life if we can’t maintain a youthful spirit? Better to die with a hopeful eye on the future than to have such a long empty difficult life though eternity. To begin with ,if most of us one day have the opportunity to extend our lives indefinitely, how will that change the dynamics of society and culture? A typical person living to 80 years of age goes through several dramatic changes in his lifetime: his opinions and attitudes change, his interests, his friends, his career, sometimes even how he remembers the past. It’s great. You don’t need to wake up at 6 or 7 AM. No more homeworks, teachers giving you bad grades, or days lasting up to 4 or 5 pm. Great. While it’s all party and stuff, people will tend to ask you one question all the time, as you start to finish your last year. I don’t know how many of you have suffered that pain already, but I have. People, friends and family more frequently, will ask you the following: ‘Hey. Soo… Who do you want to become in the future?’ First thing most of you will say is that: ‘Um, I’m not entirely sure, I’m yet to decide.’ The one who asks is confused: ‘It’s your last year of high school, you’re probably going to university next year or whatever, and you don’t know who you want to become?!?’ In our busy society where we live in, everything tends to move really fast. All the people around you seem to have a goal in their life, almost if they knew what they were destined to since they were born

The Fear of Choosing The Wrong Major in University

labor shortage in Estonia and the high salaries students will be earning after university. For me these are not the reasons I want to study IT, but because I am genuinely interested in developing new software and applications for computers. But since a lot of teenagers want to study IT, I find myself questioning, if so many people are getting degrees, will there be enough jobs for all of us graduates? Another minor fear I have about working in the IT sector in the future is tied to gender inequality. Stereotypically, IT specialists are nerdy men with ponytails and glasses, spending time alone in their room with no social lives. Because of this stereotype, men are more favored by the employers and women have a much harder time asserting themselves in this precise field. However, in recent media news articles in Estonia, there has been a lot of encouraging calls towards women to go work in the sector.

organisations such as Women's Home Defence, Young Eagles and Home Daughters there is over 19 000 people in the family of Defence League. And the numbers just keep growing and growing every day. People love it. They are able to test their skills and improve a lot. If this keeps going on the way it goes now, almost everyone are in Defence League. "Dear John" - analüüs

convinced me, that love isn't only trust, yearning for the loved one and desire, but also a terrible pain that makes people act the way that hurts themselves. When Savannah married with the other guy, I felt dissapointment in love and in it's capability. Me, as a young girl, who has whole life to live, shouldn't let such feelings and emotions, that makes me doubt in love and happiness, inside of me, yet the film made me do it. I can't say, that now I'm stoutnesser and braver about the future, because what we truly expect from life is fondness, care and love what is the jackpot of life and true happiness, but if (from what I saw from the film) I have to suffer because of love, lose some years and feel the pain, then right now, what I really want, is to stay in this moment for ever and protect myself from the future.

An Essay

Estonia you have two ways to walk: high school or industrial school, where they get profession. Youngsters in United States of America and Great Britain have easier to make choice choosing a profession, because there they start to prepare people to get a job very early. High schools in Estonia teaches every subject almost equally, so everyone have to study everything, except for some schools that are oriented to teach few subjects in depth (IT classes, art classes etc). It´s much easier to make future career plans and to find suitable profesion if school teaches how to manage in real life with practical activities like different projects, presentations and so on. I think USA and Great Britain schools are very developed in teaching pupils how to think and find answers on their own because their school system supports learning through projects, teamwork, presentations. Estonian school system is obsolescent in my opinion

Dancing

dance (e.g. trainers, professional dancers etc.). To others it is more of a way for spending leisure time: people dance at parties and in clubs, some go to dance trainings. Very many different dance competitions are held. Dance camps and trainings also. Dancestyles are very different and the best dancer of all does not exist. There are, though, many good dancers in every style. No one can arrive from being talent alone. God gives talent, work trangresses talent. I believe that in the future dancing will become even more popular than it is now. More and more new and interesting dance styles come. The society evolves and more new opportunities come to dance. Music is also developed and there're more different music styles. The dancing for the future seems promising. I like dancing the most. It can make me happy. You haven't got a talent because everyone can dance. You just have to do it like everyone can't watching. You can do it like you want.

S.Meyer raamat Eclipse - kokkuvõte

she still cannot be without Jacob's friendship. She tries to keep a balance of Edward and Jacob in her life, as a soul mate and as a best friend, by trying to forget their true identities as a vampire and a werewolf .To make things worse ,there is enmity between werewolves and vampires, what puts a huge strain on Bellas relationship with Jacob. Eventually Bella realizes that she has romantical feelings for Jacob too, because of her possible human future with him,but still thinks that the feelings are not as trong as with Edward and makes a decision to be with Edward .So quite large propotion of this book is devoted to the love triangle and Bellas confusion about her feelings for the future with either of the boys .In my opinion the triangle and messy relationship between the main characters made the book more intense and passionate . It was very pleasant to spend time in Stephen Meyers fantasy world of vampires and werewolves.

A letter to host family

I have one sister and one brother. My sister Aurelia, is 3 years old and is going to kinder garden. My brother Rasmus is 12 years old, and is in sixth grade in Pala primary school. After finishing highschool I plan to go to Estonian Aviation Academy, but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. So, at the moment, I would like to take some time out of academics to have a different life experience, and to have time to calmly reflect on my future academic/professional orientation. To this end, I think spending a year abroad would be particularly interesting. My first language is, of course, Estonian, but I am also fluent in English. I started learning English in primary school at 3 grade and by watching movies I have improved my vocabulary a lot. I speak an intermediate level of Russian. I began learning it in fifth grade and all in all, I have learnt Russian for 6 years. I am nevertheless aware that learning a language within a

After graduation

In Estonia, to get a free spot in college, you must make the top eight. There are also some places for scholarships. Each year hundreds of students want to do as well as possible on their exams, because the competition is very high and fierce to get a place in these schools. It makes people to try harder and be more conscientious with things they try to accomplish. Since I already know what I want to do in the future, I have had time to think about things and prepare for this. I have taken college-level math, done a lot of research and now, I'm attending high school in the states to improve my English, so that I can speak it fluently. Nothing comes easy. The journey to become an air traffic controller will be definitely hard, but since I love new challenges and a bumpy lifestyle, I am more than ready and crazily excited. Having goals for the future helps you grow more as a
