Cheese Rolling has become an annual event in Stilton and every May Day hundreds of villagers and visitors make their way to the main street to watch the teams battling for the honour of being called the 'Stilton Cheese Rolling Champions'. The event is also Stilton village festival, and includes Maypole dancing, live music and other entertainment. There are side-shows, fairground rides, stalls, food and drink, and a concert in the evening. The Floral Dance always takes place on the 8th of May, except when that falls on a Sunday or Monday, when the Dance is held on the previous Saturday. The Helston Floral Dance is one of the oldest surviving customs in the Country, and is a festival to celebrate the coming of spring. The colourful history of Jõhvi Concert H all dates back to the year 1491, when Jõhvi M anor with its historicist features stood on the spot of the modern Jõhvi Concert H ouse. The manor buildings were surrounded by a spacious park, which can be found next to the concert house even today, reminding us of the former glory of the manor. In cooperation with the Estonian M inistry of Culture and Jõhvi Government the Jõhvi Theater was built in 2004 and first opened its doors on the 8th of October 2005 under the management of Aivar M äethe Director of Estonian Concert. The architects of the Concert H ouse are Ra Luhse and Tanel Tuhal. Scenes have been furnished with modern equipment. Linda M adalik created the grand hall's excellent acoustics. students from 8. and 12. grades of Ülenurme Gymnasium. The paper consists of the review of literature, description of the research and its results. The review of literature gives an overview of consumption of alcohol among students in Estonia and the world in general, the nature of alcohol and its harmful effects on people's health. The data was collected with the help of a questionnaire which consisted of ten questions and was put together by the authors of this paper. The sample was 8th and 12th graders studying in Ülenurme Gymnasium in 2011/2012. All 49 questionnaires were answered and returned. The results showed that the number of students consuming alcohol in the 8. and 12. grade is more than the average. More than half of 8th graders have consumed alcohol, 6 students have been drunk and 8 students have tried alcohol in small amounts. The most frequent consumption was once a month. Both strong and light alcohol is preferred, the latter being still more popular.
