My idol I don’t really have anyone who I idolize, but someone who I do admire and have a lot of respect for is Joey Diaz. He was born in Havana cuba in 1963. He emigrated at a young age to the United States, where he was raised in North Bergen, New Jersey. Diaz's father died when he was three years old and His mother died when he was 16. He was taken in by four families around North Bergen during his teenage years, but his reckless nature and tendency to get into trouble caused him to move from one home to another. During this time, Diaz began taking drugs and committing crimes. For the first 25 years of his life he went from place to place, job to job. Doing drugs and committing crimes. Following his arrest for kidnapping and aggravated robbery, he was sent to prison in 1988, serving 16 months of a four-year sentence.
