This week The Health Week

Essay This week The Health Week. On Monday, at 21st September we had workshops and lectures about health, medicine and people. This project was „The Scientists Night Festival“. The people who organized that event were mainly local doctor and nurse, teachers and real estonian scientists too. I viseted two lectures. I wanted to visit more, but I’m sick and I didn’t feel so good. The lectures were about healthy life and genetic engineering. The first lecture or workshop was about healthy life. It was mostly practical. Some of us measured blood pressure (also me), blood sugar and cholesterol. We got flyers about diet, weight, health, samplings, diseases. Firstly I liked measuring blood sugar. Actually I didn’t try it, but it seemed interesting. I’m not afraid to blood, I just don’t like, when someone or myself make a hole in my finger and squeezes blood from it. Disgusting. But when someone else does it, it’s so cool. Secon

Edulugude võistlus

I agree that in a small town it is often harder to find the right resources for going abroad. Some years ago I felt this kind of situation very clearly. I really wanted to see the world! The only question was how, because my financial resources were limited. Nevertheless, I think, it is the perfect situation in life. If you are eager to get something you have to think how it is possible to fulfill your dreams. I knew I was interested in writing and photography . Then came the question, how could I combine them. I examined the theme thoroughly and to my suprise there have always been many nationwide competitions for students and the prize sometimes has been a journey to somewhere. I rememember clearly that the first prize that I got for an essay was a backpack and the first journey that I won was to Brussels. To this day, thanks to these competitions, I have had the chance to visit about ten foreign countries and many of them even twice

Public International Law is a system of law

Public International Law is a system of law, different from domestic law. Why is this system unique? Usually law regulates relations between people, people and the state etc, PIL regulates relations between states. Thats why PIL is important for international relation students. PIL influences the life of everybody, it doesn't regulate people directly but indirectly (through the decisions of the states), because it's everywhere. It's like air. E.g. when you want to send a letter to Brazil, you put a stamp from your own country and send it from your post office and the letter gets delivered. Why is this so easy, because there are certain international conventions that regulate postal services. E.g. traffic signs are almost the same everywhere, why? Because of certain int conventions that require the states to have more or less unified traffic signs. States apply international regulations to national regulations and they have to be in
