in school – individual responsibility
Hello ladies and gentlemen, today I am here to talk to you about truancy in
school and why is it an individual responsibility.
Truancy
in school is a very serious problem nowadays. Unfortunately many students have lost their motivation to study. According to the BBC
400,000 children were persistently absent from England's schools in the past
year and missed about one month of school each. The effect that poor attendance at school can have on a child 's education can be permanent and damaging but skipping should be child’s own responsibility and
it is not right to punish the parents for it.
Students
have many reasons why they are skipping school, mostly they do not
like the teachers or the subjects that they are taught. They tend think that they won’t need those subjects in their future life.
Some children are just lazy and irresponsible. Also one serious

Reasons of and solutions to truancy Truancy is bad. It is bad for the Students(and their future), the Parents, the school and the community. Truancy has become a growing problem. There are many reasons why students play truant from school. Firstly, the biggest reason why students do not go to school is probably that they just do not like school. They do not care about going there. School is just a chore for them and they do not see the point in it. If school were made a little more interesting, then maybe there would be a little less truancy. Some truant students are even addicted to the joys of being truant. Some of them are just too tired to go to school or have something better to do. In addition many students also miss class because they have not done their homework and do not want to get yelled at. Futhermore, some of them do not like the teacher or the subject is too difficult for them.
Education Education is so multifaceted that it is difficult for me to know where to begin discussing it, or how to prioritize the many factors. Relaying my own experience is easy: I had a standard classroom approach, supplemented by inordinate reading. In only the briefest and least memorable instances did I receive any individual tutoring. Education is commonly thought of as the job of schools. Adults cry "educate our children!" Everyone has opinions about the best way to do the job. It is of urgent importance, and all the numerous factors are much studied, debated, and new (or old) ideas continually tested or retested. Some people say "it's as simple as . . . " and then name their pet peeve or passion. My view is not of an education specialist, but of one who loves sharing what I learn, and owes much to educators
that students are keen on and parents are too cautious, preventing accidents. Outdoor education can improve student's health, while taking place in fresh air and making students physically active. The more students show their potential and skills, the more parents will allow them to be independent. If we want to set the pattern of being active daily, we should involve outdoor education into our curriculum on a regular basis. Students practitioning outdoor education already in elementary school are more likely to be physically active and enjoy outdoors in their future life too. Outdoor education includes lots of teamwork and interaction between students, therefore it is an excellent way to get students socializing. All students need friends in school. Sometimes it is hard for some pupils to make friends and they need help. Doing teamwork in lessons are always a good way to get children communicating and making platforms for further friendships

English people say that children grow up more quickly now. Relationships within the British family are different now. Children have more freedom to make their own decisions. They can leave home, drive a moped, marry with "parents' consent" buy beer. Age 17 can drive a car. Age 18 can vote, get married, drink in pubs. Education is a very important part in the life of British youth. One can't become an independent person without it. When time comes to enter a college a young Englishman chooses one far away from home. It is a necessary part of becoming adult. But, then again, she has the responsibility to shop for the insect repellent and flyswatter. A man takes out the trash. A woman does most of the cooking. A man builds the crib, but a woman feeds the baby, bathes it and puts the baby down to sleep.
BULLYING Bullying is a very big problem in almost every school. When bullying goes out of the limit, it might end with a terrible gunfire(Colombian massacre). I believe everyone have been bullied by someone and have been a bully for a once. Bullying is an issue that is very important in nowadays and needs a special attention. Some of the ways to bully other people are by: calling you names, making things up to get you into trouble, hitting, pinching, biting and pushing, taking things away from you,
Freedom of speech Freedom of speech is a wide speared conception. I can understand it in many different ways. For example in my state, Estonia, the freedom is a very important for every human. At least to me it is seemed to be like that. But at school is a little bit sad story with freedom of speech. Some teachers are not used that student expresses her own strong opinion. When another way some teachers are just waitening it. As well as people can not speak along with state public topics and express their opinion. Therefore freedom of speech is debateable. Already from the old times Estonians have been fighting for their own freedom,
