The USA In my essay I am going to talk about the United States of America. The USA was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1492. It is situated between the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans. It is the world's fourth largest country by size (after Russia, Canada and China) and the third by population (after China and India). The third largest citys in the US is: New York (NY) with a population of 8,175,133 and nicknames like The Big Apple, The City That Never Sleeps.
